  • Converting AC Induction 220v 250w broken fan motor to 12vDC brushless motor.
    This is my diy Bldc motor tested with 12v and 18v. The brushless controller I used in this project was 24v 250w.
    Any suggestions must be appreciated.Thanks

    And open one side cover and direct fan to the rotating windings in order to cool it down even better.

    how many turns and whats the diameter of the winding wire? also did you use star winding?

    I make likr this too why not test the torque. That with thr towel 🤣. I mean you can try stop it right to test its full potrntial??

      Project suspended 😁 because hoverboard motors are more cheaper than the motor that I built from scratch 🙂

      22awg (single wire) 18turn
      22 awg (3 wire paraller) 5 turn
      (4 wire) 3 turn
      5 turn had tone of torque
      3 turn had torque but consume way too much amps like 10-15 amps noload

      3phase 12turns per coil
      Total 8 coil in series
      (0.8mm single wire-20awg)
      Feed the voltage 24v to the motor it consumes a round 6 to 7amp with no load.
      The motor doesn't like higher voltage at all. I have tested with 36v with no load
      is ok but on load got smoked😂 need to rewinding some day. How about yours still in use it?
