really good, I have this kit in my NZXT Noctus 450 (also white) and it's great, my stips are placed almost the same except for the one outside, I have mine at the top back above my fans which throws some back light foward
i've just ordered, that video really help me to make me choice if get this or a single RGB strip (maybe 1meter) but i have the same case and i found this solution really "WOW" :D ty for video.
Hmmm I was thinking about moving that 140mm to the top and moving one of the front 120mm to the back so I can run a strip there, but I like what you did here so I might try that for myself.
Great review, very thorough. A tiny little bit on the pricey side, but this will be the perfect finishing touch to complement an all Razer Chroma peripheral setup. So simply I am asking that does HUE controller have fan power port and RGB port both or need a seperate fan controller? Thank you.
Damn I miss that old HOF lighting how it had like 5 - 8 little white LED's shining from inside the GPU, fucking cool! Now I'm stuck with my 1080 and it's a little.. Idk.. cool but .;.. different.
Really cool, all the stuff you can do with the software. I do think I'd miss the dials found on the original Hue, though. I know they can't do nearly as many things, but I just like rugged looking things like that and it goes so well in my NZXT case. I may get this if it goes on sale but for now I'm still very happy with my regular Hue.
I actually like it for its external dials that you can control the lights with. Not as much control as the + but the dials just look nice coming out the front of my NZXT case.
what if i have an NZXT Kraken in my PC which uses the CAM software, would I just ave two different cam softwares one for the kraken and one for the HUE+ or one which works with both of them ?
Is the strip special/different? Can normal 5050 strip do the Marquee and spectrum wave effect when connected to hue+? So far only seen 5050 showing static or strobing.

Does this work with eant led strip that has to be plugged into hub?? Because i dont want to spend 60$ on a hue and led strips. Just for that rainbow effect..
@Oscar Hernandez Reds are linear (You don't get feedback from the key) they are meh for me. But Browns are a good combination of reds and blues. Are not loud and they got tactile feedback

+dominique hagans one of the big differences is that you can set each led to a different colour. Not just cycle through the current colours. There's a bunch of stuff these can do and it's easy to miss stuff in a video because there's so many. If I'm not mistaken they're also audio reactive if you turn that mode on.
What's better for gaming? Intel core i7-4790k or the i5-4690k and for the gpu what's better? the GTX 770 TI or the GTX 980? I really need suggestions and facts :)
The I7 should be better by only a few fps and video editing, but not really worth the $100 odd extra. The GTX 980 is better out of the two as is has a higher clock speed with the extra 1GB VRAM which may come in handy very soon
+Pyx MC The i7 has features onboard basically useless for gaming, and, as for the GPU, use common fucking sense. Nvidia isn't going to release a GPU worse than it's previous generation. An FYI; higher numbers = newer product
There is nothing wrong with that, is just they won't be controlled by the same program. You would control your GPU lights from ASUS's software and the Hue+'s lights from CAM.
I know this question is a little random but I'm going to buy a new keyboard and was looking at the corsair strafe rgb but was wondering which switch is better, Browns or reds.
+Oscar Hernandez It's preference. Red's don't really have a feel to them till they hit the bottom of the keyboard. Browns are a bit more of a deep touch.

for non copyright music you can put on "ncs music". It literally stands for "no copyright sounds".

You could save quite a bit of money by buying an arduino and a LED strip, but I guess that is too advanced for most people

i really hope nzxt modified the way the audio sync. it really disappointing if it depends on the volume.
