I have a small feedback about the rapid trigger explanation - you can explain it in simpler terms. Traditionally, you actuate by position. You Trigger ON by reaching the actuation point, you Trigger OFF by leaving the actuation point. With Rapid Trigger, you actuate by direction. You Trigger ON by going in one direction, you Trigger OFF by going the other direction. You don't have to reach the destination, you just have to be going in that direction, that's what makes it Rapid.
Is the isolated to the switch or the board and the switch in tandem? I'm looking to swap some switchs for a few of my all button fight sticks, and this would be a God send if it works just with the switch. Edit: words
@@Oscarmayer261 you need both. You need a switch that's capable of granular position report, usually magnetic. Anything between 0 and 1, for example current position is 0.69. You need a PCB that is capable of utilizing the granular position, to calculate the direction. For example 0.69 -> 0.75, that means the user is pressing, 0.9 -> 0.4 means the user let the key go.
@@Oscarmayer261 Unfortunately neither Brook PCBs nor GP2040 have that capability yet and it's not on even on a pipeline. @@Rakshasa84 You can set the boundary from where the PCB registers. For example you don't want to immediately have ON, otherwise you just touch the key and you'd actuate. That lightbulb cam is genius! That is really Ideal for me since I live in an apartment and can't really set up a whole security system. Great stuff this month!
That pixel display is insanely cool! Not too long ago something like that would have been over $100. It’s so cool to see unique tech priced so affordably now.

If Redragon a company who makes budget keyboards can make a keyboard with rapid trgger/hall effect switches and Logitech can't seems weird for Logitech for being such a massive company being outdone by a much smaller company. Logitech needs to take some notes.
@@milnez No, it isn't. There is a a link in the description to the exact product, where it is 60 AUD. With a 20% discount coupon available its actually 48 AUD. Are you blind, perchance? Like he literally did the work for you all you had to do was click the link.
I was blown away by this month. Usually I like a couple or at the very least just 1 item from a CTU vid. The game switcher, the camera bulb, the Steam Deck armor, the keyboard. Oh my goodness. Felt like Kendrick when he was putting out all of them disses. Banger after banger.
We have a communal Nintendo switch locked in the common room of my dorm building, but since it’s locked we can’t swap cartridges easily. This will be a game changer!!
My tech shopping addiction loves these videos. I wish there were more. And living outside the USA, plenty of this stuff is not available in Europe or much more expensive. But it is very informative and inspiring what is out there.
those steam deck accessories are pretty cool. I figured there was something out here to keep it cool but that thing made it way cooler than I was expecting
The LED pixel display would be fun to tinker around with, even use as a countdown on tasks or break during the work day - even as a key light for video conferences and to light up the dimmer side of my desk.
My brother's birthday is coming up, and he is always glued to his Steam Deck! It would be fantastic to surprise him with the modcase as a birthday gift.
That light bulb camera is pretty next level. I finally have a good solution for my basement. Although my kids might feel weird with that eyeball looking at them.
That cart switcher blew my mind. This is why I watch every single one of these. I follow tech stuff but I never see any of these things until you show them.
I dropped my Steam Deck temps by ~18 degrees without adding any bulk. 1. PTM7950 Thermal interface material. ~7 degrees 2. Jsaux rear housing change with heat spreader back ~ 3degrees 3. Full undervolt. ~8 degrees
That quick game switcher is such a quality of life improvement. Imagine not having to stand up and reach for your nswitch to physically change the cartridge. Nintendo should release an official version of this and integrate the remote control inside the switch instead.
The lightbulb security cam is genius!! There are areas of our property we wanted cameras but couldn’t figure out how to power them. On another note, I purchased the steam deck mod case a little while ago and I can confirm it is a great feeling protective case and the kickstand is very high quality. The only issue is I bought the cheaper pack which doesn’t come with a cooler and they don’t seem to sell the cooler as a stand alone. I regret not getting the cooler now but I don’t want to buy a whole new case to get it…
Redragon being the quiet killer with some of these cool features but flying mostly under the radar. Very interested to see how the K617 would work in a day-to-day work to gaming transition. Edit: added gaming
My first keyboard was a Redragon and I was always impressed with the build quality at the price point. Always did me well and it seems like they're still producing decent peripherals for people on a budget.
I cannot believe they left that much possible performance on the floor with their cooking solution. I’m not calling Mr Random a liar here, I believe his observations. How in the world did they design hardware that could have seemingly been running 25% cooler with this tiny fan? Wow!
100% NEED that Switch, well, Switcher! Mostly for my mom, who has a lot of issues getting up and down to switch out her games, it would be so cool to just hand her a remote and let her switch her games effortlessly without having to get up!

Damn the Nintendo Card Switcher would have been so good. Just eliminating the process of having to go and switch the games while laying in bed. Amazing
Redragon is doing a great job with their keyboards since last year. The price to performance is unbeatable. This new keyboard is very appealing at this price!
the card switcher for the nintendo is such a game changer lol, man my kid and wife could use that. The ability to change games with out having to get up off the couch would be so nice lol
The Mod Deck is pretty nice, The cooler alone is something I'd def slap on my steamdeck for long game sessions. Its nice of them to include an adapter to use the cooler without the case.
