Lots of information rebuilding a chainsaw with a new piston and cylinder includes installing the carburetor. Gapping the rings, prep, torque specs and things not to do.
Excellent video! I'd note that these are prone to case leakages so pressure testing first is always a good idea: they changed to 6 bolts (from 5) on the cases and that appears to have significantly reduced the issue.

Had fun givin that guy a hard time over that cougercanic comment. He cuts trees for a living and he insisted on the aftermarket. It looked to be a decent head and piston. Everyting fit perfect. we'll find out with this one how well they work. And Cheers back to ya.

It came from EBay and it didnt have a name brand on it. I beleive a lot of the aftermarket parts come from the same plants or even the small getto shops overseas. Just search for ( Cylinder Piston kit FOR HUSQVARNA 555 556 560XP 560XPG 562XP 562XPG 575355805 ) and youll come up with quite a few. The seller I used sold out. The way the carb and head go on this one as one piece would be the same way on the Stihl we talked about.
