A little time spent in the Catskills with a friends. Actually was and still am kicking around the Autotuines from Husqvarna from a Non Dealer Hobby stand point. WHAT can we do to repair or build the older Husqvarna 550's 555's and 562's. And now 572's, 585's and 592's

Soo many people treat that wholr assembly like it is some sort of forbidden fruit. Unserviceable. Don't touch it. Just replace it. Etc. etc.
Nope. Just a carb with a few solenoids on it.

The zama diaphragm\gasket kit for these are part# GND-105.

Bought a saw as a bag of bit from an auction and rebuilt it wouldn’t run followed your video and instructions fired second pull. This is great advice from you guys thanks from Australia

This really is gold! I might tear into my original warrantied 550xp early edition. The thing that got it warrantied (and I bought it back from them at a much discounted rate) was a stumble off of idle, when the strato throttle bodies open. I wonder if like one of those 3 holes is partially plugged or something.

Great video man good job and I just tore into my 465 cleaned out the carb and it fired right back up I was almost to the point of buying a new carburetor but I'm glad I didn't

You and I have discussed this some but I have had a lot of diaphragm problems with the 550s but none with 572 or 576 or 562

Aint scared of autotune now that i see it but the start a screw then turn must be apring that has to be enagged keep it on thw outside?

Question is it possible to exchange the autotune carba against an mechanical carburator from the build up?
And when yes wich carb model could be used?
I would be in the posetion of a 3d Printer and could design some kind of intake but the autotune makes a 90° bend downwards what sems to be somewhat of a hurdle for a mechanical carb atm. Thy

Yup. But what u loose is more than what you gain. Best solution? Buy a 585

Those diaphragms should be removed as I've seen fines packed underneath them in the caps. And for reference all of them are shot on this carb. They should all be flat like a piece of paper with no bulging.

She's closed Nate. We didn't talk to anyone remotely capable or qualified to take over the biz. Fortunate for us that we could just retire without that affecting our timetable. All we want is a tenet in the space. And Walt is correct, a business that size is the people in it, not the sign out front.

The only thing I know about carburettors is you have to take them apart and clean them, no point stressing about it, you have to ! Maybe my generation (and Walt’s) are more used to the things !
