    I'd like to see what heat damaged hair would look like under the microscope, or even a comparison between synthetic hair and natural.

      Didn't even think about heat damage, that's a good one. Synthetic too. I have lots of synthetic hair. Thanks!

    This hair looks a lot healthier than mine. I can feel and see my raised cuticle without a microscope and I’m sooo curious how they look with one

    This is the exact sort of thing I was looking for! What sort of microscope did you use? I don't mean brand, I mean specifics of type (spell it out for me like I'm 5, seriously; I'm a self-teaching newbie to microscopes). Thanks for posting!

      P. S. I can see that you've more than reached your "first 1k subs" by now, and congrats on that!

    Can you do a video where you talk about adjustable mixing ratio bleaches. What happens if you mix 1:1.5 vs 1:2.5.

      Oooh I like that. I'll have to keep my eye out for that. Especially first time applications, so I can get a doner.

    Can you do high and low porosity hair under a microscope? Or high porosity hair before and after a keratin treatment

      That's a great idea 💡 I will give it a shot, thanks for watching!

    I’d like to see hair that has been treated using olaplex under a microscope to see how much it works

    • @pimpmyride7278
      @pimpmyride7278 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Olaplex multiplies bonds though. It is not a conditioner. I done think it would show any difference under a scope. Especially since microscopes only show surface texture where most conditioners work.

    • @noonseen2017
      @noonseen2017 ปีที่แล้ว

      Olaplex works deep in the hair strand below the cuticle so it won't be visible. Keratin treatments would be though I would love to see that!!

    I got my hair done yesterday bleached highlights and it's turned pink I looked up some science behind it and it said that gray hair would turn pink when bleaching is that true and that'd be a really good video thank you as always love this video edit : I don't have a head full of gray hair LOL 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😂😂 but I have some really nice ones coming in the front

    • @CosmoDad
      @CosmoDad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It definitely can appear pink if you are removing previous pigment. Hmmm this gives me a couple ideas. Thank you!

    I looked this up because im wondering if any one has ever checked some of the remy hair extensions brands out there. Are they all laying in the same direction like they claim? I cant find anything on it.

    • @CosmoDad
      @CosmoDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's an interesting question. My educated guess is that there's some good and some horrible. Since there is no regulating body enforcing terms like "Remy", anyone can put that word on their packaging. I have used some remi hair that feels amazing and tangle free and some that matts and tangles almost immediately. Tangles are the main indicator that the cuticle is damaged and or facing opposite directions.

    • @NOM145
      @NOM145 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CosmoDad The hair i have tangles like its climbing up a "cuticle ladder" next to it. I had some in 09 that were awesome. Didn't tangle a bit. My 4th crap set of this year was a matted mess so I gave up lol if someone did discover all these companies were falsely advertising as remy hair I wouldn't be surprised. They probably think no consumer will ever check. Maybe one day!

    So how do we keep the cuticles down when heat styling?

    • @CosmoDad
      @CosmoDad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So the heat of the blowdryer in combination with a concentrator nozzle and the proper brushes will help smooth the cuticle if styling smooth. If diffusing for natural curl you have to choose a product that will for a light cast on the hair and disturb the curls as little as possible while drying on low heat and low speed

    You should look for no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
