Thank you so much. This video is a lifesaver. I was able to fill up my thinned 6x6 closure using your method instead of buying an entirely new and expensive one. It was a little fiddly to start but an hour or 2 in and I grasped the method and it became easier. My closure is full and back to new now and I'm so glad I came accross your video.
This is exactly what I needed to see. Thank you for being so thorough and explaining each step, and allowing us to see exactly how to do this! Genius, brilliant and amazing. Huge thanks!
Thats what i use to think until i found out they do this with a machine! They can zip through lace and pack it full of ventilated hair. This is how you can prove what im saying is true. ..look at the front lace of a human hair wig and notice all the knots are in an exact pattern..evenly spaced..perfect unison..
this is the most detailed one i have found, and you are a great teacher. I am definitely interested in the whole course. as a person living with leukemia for life they say and a blood disorder I go through a lot of hair loss from time to time. I would love to be able to help others in my realm with hair units. no longer do we have to just cut off and start all over as i have had to do so many times in life. thank you so much for this thorough lesson!
I did this in college many years ago as part of my Hairdressing & Beauty course. We made a mens hair piece... It took forever. Im watching this as I messed up the hairline on a wig so now i know how to proceed with the repair... utube is amazing!
Stan the man thanks so much I'm currently filling in my wig patches I ripped all the hairs out after using someones cheap conditioner and refuse to buy ANOTHER wig because I just got this one and it's the best and thickest density I've found !
Thank you. One of my wigs have developed thinning hair at the back, but it's too costly to get someone to repair it. It's a good wig apart from that so I don't want to throw it away. So I bought some hair and will do it myself - thanks to you video. I realise it's a skill, but I am gonna try. Thanks again.
Yeah same reason I'm here, the nape and back on mine is bald right now, is going to take a long time, luckily in the back we can tie 3-4 hairs and it won't show.
NEVER again will I be offended at the sight of highly priced lace front wigs that I see in store or online ever again...I should be ashamed of myself 😂 And I'm laughing btw... But also Very freaking serious
Thank you so much, I accidently plucked too many hairs out of the middle parting of my wig and it looks horrible, I will certainly do this with it 😊 yay.

I have enjoyed your video. Thank you for posting. I can do the knots ok but the problem I have is the barb gets caught on the net when I first catch the hair to pull through the net before I can do the knot. Is there a special way of getting the needle back through the net.

I am having a VERY difficult time pulling the needle back thru. inserting and grabbing the hair is easy - but it seems to get snagged in the net when I try to pull the needle and hair back thru the lace! Not sure what I am doing wrong?
If you are making a custom wig for some one, do you try to match the hair density to theirs or just do a standard number? I have very very thick hair, and if I used a lesser count, wouldn’t make me look like I had thin hair ?
Thank you for this video. Reminds me of rug hooking, which is very meditative. Part of the reason I wanted to watch this was to see how the knots are made. I have alopecia and a human hair wig that was made several years ago. I paid quite a lot for it but can't seem to wear it because of the scratchiness. I thought it was the extra layer of rough lace that was on the inside crown, so I removed it but the next layer, which covers the knotted lace, appears to have very tiny cut hairs poking through it. It's almost as if the knots on the next layer were cut but that doesn't seem to make sense based on the technique you're showing. Were wigs knotted differently at one time in a way that left an exposed cut hair on the inside of the wig? I'm a little confused by what I'm seeing on the wig. Thanks for any input. If I had more time, I'd try this. It looks very relaxing.
Thank you. Yeah, I've actually got both a silk cap and a bamboo one I'm going to try sewing in to cover it and see if either one helps. Thanks for your help.
10/5/23 🇯🇲 Thank you for taking the time to break it down explain why steps have to be taken. Like I did 🚫 know skip every other row & hair placement. Respect p.s. heading over to watch the other part now 👏🏽

So can this be done on a wig that is already constructed? I bought a very expensive human hair wig but their ear tabs are very noticeable because there isn’t enough hair covering them. I have two other wigs from the same company which are fine. Company not taking refunds or exchanges due to COVID.
