Why my first microscope slide was so bad

My first microscope slide is about 25 years old, and there are three things that I would do differently today. In this video I give you some recommendations on how to make better permanent mounted slides.

Could you make a video about mounting microbes such as paramecium using PVA glue?

How to make a mold slide? Everytime I try all I get is a clasterfuxk, unlike the one on the textbook which you can see clear structure.

Have you tried methyl cellulose or Protoslo to help view the cells that move too quickly?

Other similar options (I have not tried any, don't have a scope yet!)
Glycerine, agar-agar, gelatine, pectin, carboxymethylcellulose, guar gum, xanthan gum, poly-L-lysine
Cornstarch, arrowroot, flour, tapioca powder, carrageenan, psyllium husk, egg white, thick cream, thaw ice cream.
A highly diluted solution of ethanol or THC or other might get cool results!

Oliver; I can not get the Euparal mounting medium; no one will sell it to me, an individual. Why do you talk about using something that we can't get?...

Try to get it over entomological supplies (and not the big chemical companies). I got mine this way. Alternatively try to bleach the insects with KOH solution and then wash and mount it in clear Elmers PVA glue (water based).

I thought concave slides were for something like this🤷‍♂️ The only info i can find is that they're good for algea. Help a novice out please😂
