I had m6-l in London. Still hike few times a week and gym 5 days a week. (No deadlifts or squats ect but that’s just my choice…). BMW’s can fail in one week, rockets can blow up on take off. Shit happens. More implants more failures hence m6 bad reputation. It can take 3 times torque of human disc, 2400kg downward and 1200kg sideways pressure.

Where did you have your operation done and how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?
(For reference I'm UK based too, currently trying to recover from l4-l5 disc reherniation, and wondering about ADR. )

I had a disc replacement done 2 years ago and it’s failed. I was told to do it as it’s better than fusion but it’s far from the true…..fusion is rock solid and for life, no risk of infection as discs your putting metal your your body. These discs can pop out and fail…..they are awful, they don’t deal with neck pain due to facet joint pain which fusions do..but surgeons still put them in as patients as them to put it in

It’s my first day home, I just had two implanted. Very little pain. OK, here’s the crazy part. After a steroid injection I thought I was pain free, it wasn’t until after the surgery that I realized what pain free really is.

I didn't realize that M6-C was FDA-approved for anything other than single level cervical disc replacement. Who did your surgery?

I agree I had 1 done 2 years ago not the m6 but another make, after 3 months I started to get my neck pain and nerve pain back…guess what? The surgeon has done a runner and does not want nothing to do with me…….no worries I will sue him for negligence
