My father is facing this 🙏🏾
Hoping for the best
Anticipate what the patient needs as well as the doctors. Look at the patients notes and do not become complacent ty doc
Hey Dr.John wish you are doing great. Doc I am from Pakistan, and at the beginning of september, I was diagnosed with Grade-1 AC Joint Dislocation. I have left GYM since then, today is 8th November, I am resting since then, had around 4 Physiotherapy sessions, ate Anti Inflammatory tablets and In the mid of October I started my rehab after the Orthopaedic gave Green Signal, But still some mornings I feel that the AC Joint Head of Clavicle has rised as It is observable in the mirror, but there is no pain, no other issue, and the visibily of the bone also decrease by the evening, what is this Issue?
I'm sorry you are struggling with this issue. It can be difficult to give good advice through this platform. I will always recommend a thorough history and complete physical exam and this can be done with your treating provider.
My mother was an X-ray tech for over 20 years. She is now 84. She has had lung, breast cancer and now multiple myeloma. My father is a retired gastroenterologist and he swears it is all from the radiation she was exposed to. The gowns back in the day never fit her and were too big. 🤷♀️
That's great perspective, thanks for sharing
I only want to do this because I have 18 months of GI Bill left and I’m tired of being poor 😂
I’m having lumbar laminectomy L4,L5, S1, on November 12th. Have a superb neurosurgeon and I have zero worries about it. This is what most of his work is, and he’s very experienced, the hospital and staff are top notch, and I can hardly wait to get as much sciatica pain resolved. Good neurosurgeons are worth their weight in gold!
That's great to hear. I'm glad you have a good team working with you.
Injections, prp, ozone, dextrose into the shoulder area, can avoid surgery.insufficient protein utility is a factor also., see Perfect Amino, for utilization.
Bro looks like a wwe villain 😊
Great and informative video! Thanks for taking the time to make it!
I'm glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Such a powerful story. May God continue to watch over you.
Thank God for men like Dr. Anderson.
We are lucky to have him on our team
Great am also a med student
Saya gak ngerti bicaranya, tlng tertemahkan dlm bhs Indonesia.
I am 9 month post op partial shoulder replacement. I get night spasms even after gym and static stretch. Found a tip on you tube to do external rotations to fatigue. Seems to help me get to sleep. Does this sound like laxity? Thank you
That may be the case. It may be helpful to get an evaluation with objective measurements to compare against normal ranges.
Nerves not healing after surgery, are why im so reluctant to risk getting surgery. I have muscle weakness, but i cant get a definite answer on whether i can get that back with decompression surgery. The thing that sucks is, you wont know if your nerve damage muscle weakness is permanent until after its probably too late.
That is a very important aspect to consider when deciding on surgery. I would recommend reviewing your specific risks with your treating provider.
12 hour days. Gotta have a good time or else you’d not have a good time
I agree
This guys been through hell. He knows the routine lol
My toxic trait is thinking I could be a Neurosurgeon 🫶🏾 loved watching this.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for you work Dr. Anderson.
Thank you for watching
Simple and straightforward. Many thanks ...❤
Glad you found it helpful
I wish I was a surgeon

I had a L3,4,5 and S1 fusion. It’s been 11 months. I thought it was real great. Now I have to deal with this sacrum joint problem. Physical therapy does help does nothing for my brain. I have so many things to do outside. This sucks.
I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you will get feeling better.
Curious @6:53 its 7:30am in the OR. @6:29 its 9:53am in the OR. Over 2hrs missing?
Great observation. Being sensitive to patient privacy and maintaining appropriate content to be shared publicly, not all of the material recorded was used in the final video.
I am 4 months PO from a fusion surgery to treat this issue. Out walking my dog as I type this! Able to walk 20+ miles per week. Sooo happy to have my life back!
That's great to hear, thanks for sharing your experience.
I can tell you value your reps. Some surgeons treat their reps like dogs. Wish all surgeons treated their staff like this.
My aunt is facing this condition.. pray for her..
I'm sorry to hear that.

Had surgery now I have symptoms I Never had before
I'm sorry that has been your experience. Hopefully you will get feeling better. Thanks for sharing.
For some reason surgeon reminds me of Elon Musk.
Proud of our Utah stars! Dr. Haller at U of U is one too. Saved my ankle and foot.
No way, during my trial, I was given propofol, Versed, and a little Fentanyl. Perfect!
🔥🔥🤌🤌✨👑😎😎
What a stud
I graduate highschool in june 2025, my dream is to become a surgeon and hopefully I'll get accepted into med school!!! I'll definitely comeback to this video when that happens!
Best of luck to you
Super heroes. ❤
This is the conversation I’m ready for- and I have so many questions. A lot about ‘beefing up’, both nutritionally and physically before surgery, and carefully making sure we’ve chosen the best option. Thanks for this talk. I learned a lot about where my condition is at, and it’s not good, but now I am more hopeful!
Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you found it helpful
I was put to sleep during mines
Love
If I met this man on the street I would never guess he was a neurosurgeon. I’d guess a blue collar worker. But not a neurosurgeon. Probably would after a few seconds of conversation, though.
Permanent? 🤔 I was advised by my doctor that did my ablation AND my doctor that did the nerve block said that ablation is TEMPORARY because the nerve grows back. It repairs itself 9-12 months after ablation.
Great question. The "basivertebral" nerve ablation is unique as it is a one time treatment and the results are indefinite. More commonly discussed is the radiofrequency ablation of the medial branch nerves associated with facet joints. This treatment typically lasts about 9-12 months as the nerve tissue regenerates.
very interesting video, i hope the patient made a speedy recovery. the topic of medicine/surgery has always interested me. i'll actually be getting a brain operation soon myself due to a stroke i received from listening to audio through the same 4 notes being played on a guitar for 10 minutes straight
That's interesting. I hope your surgery goes well and you have a great recovery.
LOL so true
My brother had pain in his left shoulder and hand. Now he is diagnosed with Chiari malformation. He is gonna have a surgery in the next week😢
Hoping for a speedy recovery
@@summitmedicalinstitute Thank you)

@riridagoYou will!
@@ChosenOne1111 thank you ❤️
How will i go to usa from uzb????😊
Hello, very informative and easy to understand the way you describe it. Any way to 'reverse' the condition and 'expand' the canal ? I recently have been diagnosed with stenosis with claudication. Thank You.
Great question. Our most recent educational meeting was discussing this topic. There are a few options, both surgical and non-surgical to treat this condition. th-cam.com/video/zuVYODJsd8g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=76IYTFQ67cAuQM1U
i wish i could get the pay without the work lol
