Hello @SpineConnection, would this procedure be possible for a young man (33y) with two previous discectomies at the same L5-S1 level?
Also, would it be possible to perform this motion preserving surgery even if the patient has an interspinous spacer from the last surgery? Could it be removed to achieve complete restoration of movement at this level with the disk replacement surgery?
Thank you very much in advance!

Is trampolining safe after l5-s1 with m6-l? I did not think this would be allowed. Is m6-l better than esp-l?

Hello John Westgarth, our patients can return to a healthy and active lifestyle (sensibly). This is the goal from the beginning. The M6-L and LP-ESP discs both move in 6 directions with vertical compression, although achieve this in different ways. There are differences between these discs and our surgeons are experienced to match the ideal disc with each patient's unique anatomy. What's the difference between M6 and prodisc L? Does it matter which one to use?

Yes, M6 falls completely apart in a few weeks or months.

I had m6-l in London. Still hike few times a week and gym 5 days a week. (No deadlifts or squats ect but that’s just my choice…). BMW’s can fail in one week, rockets can blow up on take off. Shit happens. More implants more failures hence m6 bad reputation. It can take 3 times torque of human disc, 2400kg downward and 1200kg sideways pressure.
