So basically the rebels only succeeded because of Vader ultimately in the original trilogy, unknowingly undermining the Empire. XD First allowing the falcon to escape the death star with a tracker, then afterwards due to his son possibly being onboard in the next movie. Truly the real hero of the old trilogy, not just the prequels.
I think the words are the same but the ideas are different. When Yoda says it, it's more about the conviction one has in the task. You have to start out with the belief that you will accomplish the goal. If you do then you will surely succeeded. Vader is more literal I think you either succeeded or you didn't, and if you succeeded then your a failure and your dead.
The other rebels can die but they wouldn't kill luke and leia main characters always survive unless its Iron man but let's be honest he'll come back in Spider-Man 3 as memory or something even Luke and Leia appeared as force ghosts at the end of Rise of Skywalker so they all come back one way or another
