As a Rakata apologist, the Rakata glassing Tatooine has been completely misinterpreted by historians. It was an attempt to expand beachfront property on the ocean world. However, natives interfered with the process and caused the planet’s desertification.
I think the only reason why the Rakata ruled for so long was that the force had nothing to balance the Rakata with. The force was still very new to sentient species, so the force had no choice but intervene directly. The force gets involved only after long stints of the status quo, where there are no likely changes to the Galaxy.

Almost every culture throughout the Warhammer 40k universe is much worse than this, even humanity. That being said it’s the entire point of the 40k setting whereas the fact that this specifically exists in Star Wars, a series that was originally made for children is whats jarring and creepy.

The Rakata as a race seems to have no redeeming qualities. It seems that every single Rakatan was cruel and violent. The Rakata resemble a dark entity that’s written as a species instead of an individual character. The Rakata are one of the worst races I’ve come across in Science Fiction and Science Fantasy. The Dark Eldar (Drukhari) from 40K maybe worse. Where the Rakata scaled to the size of the Galactic Empire or the Republic, the species would have eventually spread their evil to other galaxies. I never got the opportunity to buy some of these books from book fairs and book stores as a kid since my family was in poverty for about as long as I was deeply into Star Wars at that point. While my interest in current year SW is passing glances at best, the info in these videos are so awesome to hear about for the first time and it feels very nostalgic with some of the visuals present as well. I am really glad you are taking a look at Star Wars. You earned my sub for sure. Though I am unsure if you are aware of the lack of a consensus on whether the Rakata's "500 worlds" is entirely accurate or not. You see, there was a rogue warload by the name of Soa who conquered Korriban for a time. This puts him at around 27,700 BBY in terms of latest activity. He is a raid boss in the direct sequel to KOTOR and KOTOR II known as "Star Wars: The Old Republic." He boasts, as part of his dialogue that he "Ruled over a thousand worlds" personally as a small warlord that the Infinite Empire eventually hunted down and imprisoned. This implies that the infinite Empire had many more worlds than just a few hundred and could have even had into the millions considering how long they were out conquering planets. Edit: I play like 30 seconds ahead and he gets to it lol.
The Rakatans would not be the last species to loose connection to the force. The Yuuzhan Vong also suffered this fate and were also vicious. Makes sense. Force powers are built upon the connection between all things and the dark side is that connection poisoned. Taken to the logical extreme looking the connection altogether makes sense.
Honestly he should just do one for the entire story. OG Kratos could definitley be considered evil and none of the Greek gods except (maybe) Athena could really be called good guys. Edit: actually no Athena sucks too come to think of it lol only Hephaestus was sympathetic.
@@Abefroman2024lol bro, Kratos by the end of the first game was 100% evil, not even “considered” because by GOW 3 he was an apocalyptic monster who destroyed the world, (the Greek side anyway), the Greek gods weren’t all that good morally as they acted like high almighty conceited assholes but they were trying to keep the world stable and in order of balance so things don’t fall into chaos for the everyone so they were mainly neutral, and morally grey from their personalities overall and doing their jobs to keep things in check so there’s that. Zeus was a prick but he’s ALWAYS a prick in every incarnation he’s in. They weren’t really good guys but they were trying to stabilized everything intill Kratos side f the world, and killed basically everyone in Greece.
@Gadget-Walkmen tbf I can't take the pantheons side against Kratos. Kratos absolutley was a rageaholic murder machine with no regard for any life that stood in his way but the greek gods KNEW that and kept poking the bear. Not to mention they started all of it by kidnapping his brother deimos and all they had to do to avoid this outcome was give him peace by taking his nightmares away (Which while they didn't TECHNICALLY say they would, I would argue it was HEAVILY implied) and instead they gave this guy the power and responsibilities of a god of war, which Kratos never asked for.

I have three videos I would loved to see on your channel
1. Analysis Evil: The Prophet of Truth and the Covenant from Halo.
2. Analysis Evil: The Qu from All Tomorrows.
3. Analysis Evil: Captain Walker from Spec Ops: The Line.
Yes to all 3
Yesss the QU!
Definite yes to the Qu
THE QU WOULD GO SO HARD
The Qu will do
As a Rakata apologist, the Rakata glassing Tatooine has been completely misinterpreted by historians. It was an attempt to expand beachfront property on the ocean world. However, natives interfered with the process and caused the planet’s desertification.
Analyzing evil: people who leave shopping carts in parking spaces
I think the only reason why the Rakata ruled for so long was that the force had nothing to balance the Rakata with. The force was still very new to sentient species, so the force had no choice but intervene directly. The force gets involved only after long stints of the status quo, where there are no likely changes to the Galaxy.
Rest in peace, Elders. You were the only members of your species who attempted to be a force of good...
ANALYZING EVIL 😈: GEORGE COSTANZA FROM SEINFELD
Honestly kramer is more evil.
@@HeronSight What did Kramer do that was so bad?
Newman: ”Am I a joke to you?”
George is getting upset!
I mean I think you could classify all the main 4 as evil, that was kind of the point of the finale right?
I would loved to see you cover videos of Star Wars villains that aren't Sith. Here are a few examples:
1. Analysing Evil: Grand Admiral Thrawn
2. Analysing Evil: Grand Moff Tarkin
3. Analysing Evil: Director Krennic
How about Ysanne Isard or Zsinj,
Cab Bane, Savage Oppress, Asajj Ventress, Mother Talzin, Janna the Hutt

This is probably the most scary situation in science fiction I've heard of, a species who are unlimited evil conquering literally everything? That is still around and come back?
Almost every culture throughout the Warhammer 40k universe is much worse than this, even humanity. That being said it’s the entire point of the 40k setting whereas the fact that this specifically exists in Star Wars, a series that was originally made for children is whats jarring and creepy.
This ones exotic and im all for it
Can I just say as someone who played that game from early schooling for over 8 years, I so appreciate seeing the SWTOR MMO Content represented here. It made my heart warm and gave me some good memories.
That's good to hear, I always liked that game too!
the distinction between the rakata and the sith species is interesting. the sith are intelligent cunning evil. the rakata are more like you gave a sentient great white shark super powers.
This is an insult to great white sharks. Dolphins are a much fairer comparison.
Knights of the old Republic 1 and 2 are goated. Darth Traya definitely deserves a video of her own.
Can't wait for a video on all the trio especially the lord of hunger
It’s great seeing new Star Wars videos, especially on lesser known dynasties and beings in that universe, great video! Also, if there is anything the Mnggal-Mnggal video made me think of, it’s a possible video perhaps on The Flood from the Halo franchise maybe? Also also, on the topic of evil galactic empires, maybe a video also on The Viltrumite Empire from Invincible?
Yes the flood would be a good video!
@@richardvasquez6746 Would the Prophet of Truth also be a good candidate? Or would the entire Covenant Empire be qualified for a coverage?
@andrewemerson6077 i would like one of the covenant and then maybe a solo one for the prophet of truth since it might be too long of a video to go into detail.
MNGGAL-MNGGAL MENTIONED💪💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥
My God... These are the villains we need in new SW movies. Movies about the past about the truly evil monsters.
Disney would not have the balls to do the Rakata as depicted in legends, they are basically the Drukhari of Star Wars!
Villains for October:
Art the Clown from Terrifier
Beetlejuice from Beetlejuice 1 & 2
Sam and the characters and themes from Trick 'r Treat
Pumpkinhead from Pumpkinhead
Constance Nebbercracker from Monster House
Gozer from Ghostbusters
There have only been two species in Star Wars which have been stripped of the Force. The Rakata and the Yuuzhan Vong. What torments must have they inflicted to be punished in such a matter?
With the vong we atleast know that it came from destroying yuzzanhtar. Which they connected to the force through it in a symbiotic relationship.
Analyzing Evil: Eric Cartman from South Park
Finally, a true monster.
Video would be 20 hours long lmak
Just some suggestions:
Dracula from Castlevania (Video Game and Netflix versions as separate videos as they’re fairly different from each other)
Kratos from the God of War franchise
Scarecrow from the Arkham series
The Silver Shamrock company from Halloween III
Chucky from the Child’s Play franchise
Characters and Themes of Serial Experiments Lain
And some Mortal Kombat villains (Mainly just Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Onaga, Bi-Han & The Lin Kuei)
Thanks and keep up the great work!
Yes to all of them
The greek gods from god of war
There is another instance of a species being severed from the Force, the Yuuzhan Vong.
i miss the non-disneyverse canon
As far as im conerned Legends is the true canon and disneys is nothing more than fan fiction. Bad fan fiction at that
I know not of this Disney of which you speak
Something called "head canon" my friend its a form of coping but its better than accepting Rey Skywalker as canon lol.
But it's still there, Disney is even doing reprints.

Amazing work as always! And wow. It truly says something that they're the most evil Empire in history when there was an Empire later that was run by the vilest villain in cinema history!
Classic writer move
1) make broken empire and race
2) omg plage came out of nowhere and it targets only the op empire guys! 😅
3) repeat in every single cosmic book
You've got to admit *"Infinite Empire"* goes hard!
Hello again with my friendly suggestions lol:
Doyle Hargraves from Sling Blade
Agatha Trunchbull from Matilda
Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat
The Covenant from Halo
Percy Whitmore and/or Wild Bill from The Green Mile
Hey guys, while there are so many Sith Lords in the Sith Empire that would have been a perfect candidate for an Analysing Evil video, I was wondering if there are any Non Force-sensitive associates that could be covered as well, particularly Imperial Officers, Bounty Hunters or Heads of Crime Syndicates.

Should save it for a fathers day special
I don't comment much on videos . Luther from the Warriors (1979) "come out to play!, Clarence boddicker from Robocop (1987)" bitches leave!" and The joker/Jack napier from batman (1989)" ever danced with the devil in the pale moon light?" would be great to see . Keep up the great vids mate 👍
This is so exciting was waiting for the Rakata video! Amazing job man the infinite empire is one of my favorite things in the Star Wars lore! ❤
Never thought I’d see Star Wars villains like the mnaggl mnaggl and the rakata getting analyzed like this. Thank you so much! Love your work!
One small correction. The "mother" character preceded the age of Darth bane. It appears in the sith inquisitors storyline in swtor, which was a few thousand years before bane.
Never expected him to do old Republic stuff that's awesome
Maybe the cannibalism is the reason why some may suddenly lost their connection with The Force ?
As a Star Wars Legends lore buff I’m so happy you’ll try covering a lot of the evil beings and groups from ten to tens of thousands of years before and after the time of Luke Skywalker ( despite legends going only to around 136 ABY at most )
This came out the day after I started my 28371931837th playthrough of kotor. Nice timing lol
God, I hope you get to Tenebrae/Vitiate/Valkorion.
Looking forward to Darth Traya. One of my favorite villains.
Honestly she did nothing wrong imo the force deserves to be destroyed
@@zeebooboo9663Traya is kinda right maybe the star wars verse would be better off without the force but Traya could have simply just cut herself off from the force. her whole ideology makes sense but the force itself is a good thing. its people who use the force for evil is what causes problems
@@Talesofaweedsmoker Traya's problem with the Force isn't that evil people use it. It's that the Forces uses people. It has a will of its own, and she despises the thought of a divine puppet master.
@@DFAnton The force has no master that's the issue with Traya's philosophy the force has existed since the beginning and always will. there is no master the force is apart of all things. even beings who a cannot manipulate the living force still are apart of it.
Great video! Something I would suggest for a next video from Star Wars, are The Dread Masters. Great content for the evil series and a not popular thing among fans
Analyzing Evil: James Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes

Analyzing Evil: College Board
That's too morbid, actually. The Lich would be more digestible.
I absolutely love this series. Can't wait til you eventually get to Revan and Valkorian
I can imagine the Rakata breaking, enslaving and corrupting millions of species, until eventually collapsing in on themselves.
Excellent villain analysis: Villain Profile Suggestions:
1. Frank Underwood/Francis Urquart (House of Cards)
2. 001 (Squid Game)

9. Kratos (God of War series)
10. Eric Cartman (South Park)
11. Father (Full Metal Alchemist)
12. The Sons of Anarchy Gang
13. The Gravemind/Primordial (Halo)
Yes to all of them
i mean its basically like you gave a predator animal super powers. they dont really care about morality when they see everyone else including other rakata as food.
@@cal2127I wonder what Rakata reproduction and maturation is like? Probably brutal, with high female and infant mortality?
Oh yes, I love these!!!!!!
Can hardly wait until we get to: King Adas, Ajunta Pall, Sorzus Syn, Dathka Graush, Marka Ragnos, Tenebrae, Darth Atroxa, Darth Revan, Darth Traya, Darth Nihilus, Darth Sion, Darth Malgus, Darth Bane & Darth Zannah!!!!!!-!!!!!!-!!!!!!

I would love to see an analysis evil on Maegor the Cruel from a song of ice and fire I think he would be perfect.
I would love to have seen the ancient Rakata face the more modern day Vong. Both merciless but one is strong in the force and relied heavily on technology while the other is devoid of the force and hates technology.

Have you ever thought about doing an Analyzing Evil on a Warhammer 40K character? There are a lot to pick from. Erebus, the Emperor, Horus, Konrad Curze, the Chaos gods, Fabius Bile, Fulgrim, any of the Drukhari, the Silent King, the C'tan, so many.
Analyzing Evil: That fucking bird that I hate
I didn’t mention this under the Mnngal Mnngal video but you making this extended Star Wars series covering the legends content is actually really comforting. Thanks for continuing to make great content along this very special project to me.
Old Canon > Disney Canon
YES more star wars! though i appreciate ALL the multiple uploads recently. we got the rakata, bateman, and two-face in like one week. its like early christmas!
Please do an Analyzing Evil on Black Jack Randall from Outlander!
I don't think there's even thousands worlds in Stygian Caldera alone
@@Hello-bi1pm There's a lot more than that.
Analysing Evil: The Skeksi from The Dark Crystal and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance
I had a lot of fun learning about the ancient Rakata civilization while exploring KOTOR.
Analyzing Evil: Jar Jar binks from the phantom menace
The Rakatans would not be the last species to loose connection to the force. The Yuuzhan Vong also suffered this fate and were also vicious. Makes sense. Force powers are built upon the connection between all things and the dark side is that connection poisoned. Taken to the logical extreme looking the connection altogether makes sense.
Analysing Evil: Big Boss from the Metal Gear Solid series
Star wars lore. Good God, I never knew how dire it was.
Analysing Evil Zeus From GoW
Honestly he should just do one for the entire story. OG Kratos could definitley be considered evil and none of the Greek gods except (maybe) Athena could really be called good guys.
Edit: actually no Athena sucks too come to think of it lol only Hephaestus was sympathetic.
@@Abefroman2024good point
@@Abefroman2024 eh haephestus wasn’t bad either. He did try to help kratos, but so did athena.
Not to mention they started all of it by kidnapping his brother deimos and all they had to do to avoid this outcome was give him peace by taking his nightmares away (Which while they didn't TECHNICALLY say they would, I would argue it was HEAVILY implied) and instead they gave this guy the power and responsibilities of a god of war, which Kratos never asked for.
man i did not expect the rakata here. Thats a deep lore pick

Alvin the treacherous from the how to train your dragon books > all of these suggestions
By better or greater, expand on that will you? Because there are some compelling villains, that I have compiled. Some more so than others.
@@JayCity10 would make the best video. Alvin changes as a person a lot in the how to train your dragon books and he only gets more evil which is perfect for “analyzing evil”. There are also almost no videos on TH-cam talking about the character so this would be a good opportunity to get the world to actually know who this fantastic character even is
@@medlyman6513 I understand. You would be hard pressed to find a more compelling and evil character or villain, than Sgt. Waters from A Soldier's Story.
