For the fun of it I tried to spec out a Lariat online ( in Canada I only see the 2024 model year yet ) with similar items to the Chevy High Country I have on order and it comes in at a similar price to the 2025 model year High Country. So choosing a King Ranch or on up trim level from there goes into the stratosphere just for a gas engine crew cab truck. Where a High Country fits into the scheme trim/option wise compared to a Ford I don't know but the prices have gotten insanely out of hand for trucks period, never mind a higher trim with a few options.
@hollywoodd3191 so I've had a constant parasitic draw, and hundreds of other viewers mentioning low battery. Once they get too low, you start losing features and accessories. Batteries get to low the one alternator and one battery can't get the battery back up to 100% alone. It will need to be on a charger. Dealers are really hasty about fixing this issue. With the dual battery, it would help keep.it up longer. Within one week, if the truck doesnt move, battery will be at 20%. my single battery and single alternator won't charge it past 40%. Dealer can't seem to fix the issue and has replaced the battery 3 times in 7k miles. I'd just suggest the extra charging and extra battery, once winter comes the low % could cause the battery to Crack.
correct me if I am wrong. If you order a F350 vs 250 you get the R140 tranny. I'm considering another Tremor as well as the 7.3. I'm torn between waiting until 2026 cause I really want the more HP 7.3 or 7.3 H.O.
@@Jassman3536 this makes sense. Thanks. I was not sure if they were just going to up the power on just the gas because I have seen a few TH-cam people dyno these things stock and they are making high 400 for hp and little over 500 for torque. I am sure ford is under selling it so they can add it when the competition ups theirs.
@Jassman3536 I'd wait till 26. Rumor has it the 7.3 will bump in 26 I'm HP and torque. The stock internals will hold over 800HP. But the new hybrid they said may be based on the powerboost v6....I'd be out on that. The zilla produces way to much heat already. But they may bring back the light duty 3/4. And for 25 you have to get the 4.30 one ton or the tremor 250 to get the bigger 10 spd.
@pjbuckmaster ford did this every year since 10. They are beating everyone on stated HP that they will put out two sets of numbers. They will wait for GM to state there numbers and then bump it right after that.
Which one drives more comfortably, the Ford or GMC/Chevy? Thank you, sir
I’m not a Ford fan, I’m just watching this because I’m a loyal fan. 😂😂.I’m kinda waiting on you to get a new Chevrolet! 🎉🤪
@@numbcuts5936 I appreciate that. The new red one to look at should be here Tuesday. Appreciate you being here.

What’s the deal with the dual alternators and the charging issue you mentioned? I hadn’t heard of that before.

How do you know they will up the horse power on that?
@@pjbuckmaster I remember reading that they will be electrifying or hybrid battery set up added to the 7.3 and or possible HO version.
