I am struggling to fast. I keep eating at night cause I can’t fall asleep. I’m gonna keep trying. But take a break. Go back to 16:8. Hunger is winning. And it needs to stop winning. I need to be okay with being hungry. Maybe try omad. But end goal is adf. Back to 219.8. So trying to get to 205 sooon as possible. And this is good video. I’m hopeful. Will look up more fasting content and learn to tell myself no. Cause I need discipline. It’s time to stop overeating. But I’m doing my best. When I complete a fast I feel accomplished when I don’t I feel shitty but need to stop feeling shitty. It’s about progress not perfection. Im gonna lose this weight it’s gonna come off. Fasting or no fasting. Im losing weight. Im in it to win it. Im feeling inspired by you to try again after I refuel

I much prefer hunger to an over stuffed feeling! When I feel hunger I give myself positive feedback in my mind… having said that I almost caved into eating on a fast day this week..it was a close call. So happy I preserved. The temptation was intense but only lasted about 30 minutes, then I was fine.

I’m doing ADF and find on my fasting day, if I stay busy, I don’t get hungry. My weight loss is happening but I’m not in a rush. Thanks, from Australia 🇦🇺

This video came right on time. I always tell myself you can eat today and fast the next day. Recently this has happened too often then I’d feel guilty and ask myself was it really worth it. So right now I focus on ky goals. I tell myself I can eat this when I break my fast. And it’s silly things like toast 🙄 or Cheetos…things I never even considered eating when not fasting.

Totally needed to hear this… I fell off the wagon on my fasting schedule haven’t been able to fast 36 hours for a while. I have been fasting 24 hours once or twice each week but it’s not the same feeling as when you fast 36 hours. When you fast 36 hours you don’t feel hungry and I feel in control of those cravings. My goal is to fast 36 hours today and feast tomorrow. Thank you for your videos and Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well Lexi!! Similar thing that I notice is when I travel some of the hotels offer a complimentary breakfast. Before I started IF I was one of those at this morning feast. It's crazy to see how crowded and popular these are with guests stacking their plates as high as they can with those disgusting fake scrambled eggs and sausages. I no longer participate and feel great. No longer falling asleep at my

For me "hunger" comes at the times that my body has learned that I usually eat. I eat on Saturday, Sunday,Tuesday, and Thursday. I eat my first meal at 6:30 am and my second ( last) meal is finished by 2:00 pm. And I don't even experience any hunger on my fasting days. I think alot of that is because I eat very low carb. Plus I've done this long enough that my body has adapted to this time frame. You're right, that most people think that the feeling of hunger will keep multiplying with time. So they don't ever "risk" it. Where if they'd skip a meal at their regular time, they'd discover that their hunger would go away shortly after that meal time would've ended. Probably a little longer for people eating the s.a.d. diet. Anyway happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Do any of your videos cover improvements in routine lab work (e.g. lipids) that you can point me to? I've read some of the studies out there but interested in your personal experience as it seems you've been doing this for quite some time.
