In this video, we have tried to explain why one should do Vajraasana after having meals rather than going for a walk. Walking after taking meals is a common practice followed by many people in today's generation. But we should know that this simple pose provides greater benefits than walking and it is scientifically explained.

You are Excellent MAM AND VERY EXCELLENT PRESENTATION
Thanks a lot
should vajrasana be done within 10 minutes after the meal or even after the 10 minutes are passed just like that can it be done
Digestion is a time taking process. Even lightest food we eat remains in stomach for around 2 hours. So 10 mins delay is fine. What is important is whenever you sit in vajra asana be mindfully into it, Not just physically.
My right knee ligament was damaged 6 months before....And I always feels some pain in knee...
Should i avoid vajrasana?
What are alternative options?
Yes, you should avoid vajra asana. Sit in padmasana with a yoga block or folder carpet below your hips. And practice knee exercises for building strength slowly.

Start with 3 mins..Then take it to 5 and gradually to 15 mins...This way you will build necessary flexibility and strength slowly...You could also add small bolster below ankles to give support in early process. Hope i answered your query.

You can start with 5 mins in one go after a meal and slowly increase the timing of each sitting
@@Yog4Lyf ok thanks 👍👍👍
Watching this video while walking 🚶♀️
Watching this video while in Vajrasan 😎
Can i sit in vajrasana while eating meal, i know sukhasana it is, but vajrasana is difficult to do while eating that's why one should do sukhasana? I want best asana in all aspects while eating.
No you should eat in sukhasana only. Vajrasana activates the digestive fire. It is meaningful once the process of eating is complete. If you wish to follow it more diligently then after having food going for peeing. Dont worry about the volume. And then sit in vajraasana for max benefits.
@@Yog4Lyf vajrasana immediately after finishing meal or wait for a few mins?
