Great video don’t know if I’m lucky to have those tabs still at bottom of the headlights cause my whole bottom bumper ripped off in a snowstorm in Chicago cause my front splitter became a snowplow
Love the price point of this unit. Is this comparable in performance to the more expensive units? Id just go with this and have some coin for an exhaust if it makes sense. Your car looks and sounds good
How does the cvf compare to the cpe 5.5 In terms of performance. I’ve been deciding between cpe, depo, or cvf. Keeping in mind I will go big turbo in the future. Help !
5.5 is so overkill, even for a big turbo. You don't need an FMIC that big unless you're running a giant turbo. The larger you go with an intercooler, the more turbo lag you introduce into the system. Also, the larger you go, the longer it will take to dissipate once heat soaked. Get a CVF, CPe light weight or Garrett core. Of the 3, I'd honestly recommend the CFV just because of the price. It's also a very solid unit.
Very dumb question but I'm curious if you could do this without lifting the car. I have stands but haven't gotten around to replacing my jack and was wondering if I could get around it for now 😅
Ultimately depends on the conditions, the stock intercooler would heat soak so quickly that when you continue to drive the car hard you would see less and less power after each pull due to the insane charge temps. This CVF unit keeps our charge temps right around ambient even during 100+ degree days and consistent pulls, it doesn't offer a major increase in power, but it allows you to make peak power much more consistently.
Ordered my intercooler from you guys today!!!! Looks like good qaulity and price was the deciding factor!
Quality video 👍🏽
Thank you!
My guy bootiful
No, you. I have spoken.

If we’re being honest, this unit cools nearly identical, or better than some of the more expensive units.

Nice. Got whacked with hail and going to use cash for a few upgrades. Intercooler on top of that list, after the seibon hood.
We would happy to help you get either when you’re ready!
@@graveyardperformance definitely. I saved a couple parts for when the cash hits from my claim.
@@graveyardperformance Can I run the CPE intercooler with the stock tune??

You can place the car on ramps that are properly rated for the weight of the focus ST to give it enough raise to replace your intercooler.
What did you do with the AGS plug?
Just zip-tied it up out of the way
How much power do you think you gained ?

Hey I know that guy
He's a good guy
The clamps that came with this were dogshit...they fell off right after install when I was at autocross...the stock clamps were better
