One thing I’ve been doing lately on wet skin before leaving the shower is using Hado Labo “lotions”. They are full of Hyaluronic acid. I put them in a fine misting bottle. Then when I get out of the shower I follow with an occlusive moisturizer with ceramides.
Advanced Clinicals Rentinol is the biggest sleeper product ever. I have stretch marks on my legs and while the lotion won't make them go away, it has drastically improved the look of the skin on my legs. It's smoother and firmer for sure. Thanks Dr. Dray!

@@dianas2585 I've been using it about two months. I maybe had a little bit of itchiness when I first started but it was not significant. I have gotten over the need to buy luxury skin products, especially with the abundance of great products at lower price points. After watching Glow By Ramon, I purchased a Kroger brand Vitamin E body cream (he actually recommended the Kroger face SPF cream) for $5 (4 oz. tub). The first three ingredients are water, vitamin E and safflower oil. I am impressed! The only negative is that it is a bit sticky after application but it is extremely moisturizing for my chronically dry skin. Who knew?
I swear the Aveeno restorative skin therapy balm and lotion saved my eczema ridden skin! The Eucerin intense cream helped the itch temporarily, but I would just end up slathering it on all night. But the Aveeno balm took the eczema away and I only need to apply the lotion once after showering to feel moisturized.
I use to hate sunscreen as it’s sticky, leave a white cast or make my skin very shiny...it’s already so hot in summer and it’s helping. Since i watch your channel, i give a try until i realize there are some silky, smooth and leave a velvet feel. Now i have many ones: for the office, for a small walk, so the pool, etc...it’s just like lipstick. You need to finds yours.
Dr Dray I've tried so many products you've recommended now. Some include Kerasal, Dermatonics Foot Cream, Eucerin roughness relief spot treatment, Aveeno cracked skin balm, the Panoxyl for armpits....love them all! Seriously the Panoxyl completely destroyed the B.O armpit smell! Was a miracle product and something I would have never thought of using 🙌
Benzoyl peroxide for the armpits is a huge winner! I use the Wal Mart brand (daily acne control) & I do not need to use deodorant anymore. I stopped using deod. several months ago but needed to wash my armpits a couple times a day, now I go all day without having to wash them until shower time.
Same here regarding the Panoxyl. I have been using since last summer and recently I forgot to put on deodorant and the entire day I had no body odor. I will look for the Wal Mart brand to save some coin!
The Neutrogena Overnight cream is exclusive to Walmart. They have limited quantities at my local stores. I hope it becomes a permanent product sold in stores besides Walmart.
I look for that cream in every WalMart could not find any and when I was about to order it on line it shows that I can pick up one up ( left 6 ) like less than 2 miles. I went to that store look all over and could not find it. Found a employee working in that department. She told me to look at totally different aile. Found it and bought it. Super happy !! I usually go to that WalMart all the time. Never saw it.
My mom is a doctor and she says that you only really need to wash you armpits, lady bits and feet if the rest of your skin is not soiled as washing too much is very bad for skin barrier and always use lukewarm to cool water :)
I really appreciate you and Walmart - you’ve helped us discover the Aveeno skin therapy line and our local Walmart consistently has them in stock. It’s a helpful line for ultra sensitive skin that goes through medical procedures 👍 Thanks again doc 🙏
Hi Dr Dray. I wrote to Neutrogena asking them if the Hydro Boost Overnight was available at other retailers. They said for now it is a Walmart exclusive. I love it too. I use it on my face with great results. I have rosacea and this product is soothing. Thank you for telling us about it.
Love the don’t overwash tip! I’ve never been one to soap up absolutely everywhere every time. My motto is jump in and quickly wash ‘YOUR PITS and BITS’.
I can't tell you how much I love the whole Aveeno Restorative line, especially the balm! I have had crazy contact dermatitis from so much hand sanitizer. It is the best line I've ever used and helped me reduce how much I used my Rx topical steroids!!!
Best mosquito-itch relief ever: let hot water run over the back of a spoon for a few minutes and then press the bowl of the spoon directly on the bite. It will itch like crazy for a few seconds but, as the heat denatures the proteins that cause the itching, it will stop completely.
Someone may have mentioned it already but yes, the Neutrogena Hydroboost Overnight is only at Walmart! I called Neutrogena myself because I was searching for it at other stores and they told me it's exclusive to Walmart. Love you Dr. Dray! You are my favorite TH-cam skin doc!
This is my Body Care: -In the shower I use PanOxyl every once in a while on armpits & chest. -I use Aklief (trifarotene) on my chest and arms (as well as my face) -I use Eucerin Intensive Repair Lotion all over my body after the shower. I LOVE that stuff. -I use Coppertone Pure & Simple SPF 50 on all exposed parts of my body.
I love the Neutrogena overnight cream. I use it on my face and my body, and I just ran out! It is so affordable and feels amazing. Love that you recommended this Dr. Dray!
Dollar general also has the neutrogena hydro boost lotion, but I’ve only been able to find the unscented one at Walmart, so you’re absolutely right! I have KP and dry skin, so this stuff is a life saver for me. I use that during the day, and CeraVe SA Cream at night, with CeraVe healing ointment on top! Your channel has helped to improve my skin so much. Love you!
*When my son was a baby, he used to get dry irritated skin and his doc had me use Dove sensitive skin body wash, Aquaphor healing ointment, Aveeno moisturizing lotion, and if his skin was pretty irritated, i used hydracortione ointment (but only maybe a couple to few times a week). So, bc I know how well those products worked for him as a baby, I still use and keep those products in hand 15 years later!*

After a punch biopsy on my sister's ankle, she was informed that she has Schamberg's disease. She uses Cortisone 10 on the spots because they are very itchy. In her case, she has them in various parts of her entire body. The tops of her hands and feet/toes are discolored and have a rash like appearance. The leaking blood vessels make the skin have a rust color to them. After watching this video, I'm going to surprise her with Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Itch Relief Balm. THIS sure sounds like a great product. If you know of anything different that could benefit her, please let me know! Thank you so much for all your very informative videos. You are greatly appreciated.
Oh my gosh I don’t know how anyone’s skin can handle that type of climate. The last time I traveled for work, pre-quarantine, I went to Henderson Nevada and my skin freaked out! I had so much flaking and redness. I wasn’t hydrating and moisturizing like I am now (thanks Dr. Dray!) and there was nothing I could do. It was awful.
I second this! It's rough on the skin for sure 😔 especially combined with hard water. It took years for me to get my skin under control after moving to the desert.
@Angel d Teran I also live in southern AZ! I know the struggle 😅 I use Clinique Dramatically Different lotion and it’s the only thing that can keep me moisturized. It absorbs in the skin beautifully without being too heavy. If I get dry throughout the day I use a facial mist like the one from Garnier-that one does have some fragrance and potentially irritating ingredients so beware of that 😊
The Aveeno itch balm is cheaper on Amazon. Walmart it’s $12.94 for 4 oz & Amazon $9 for 4 oz. Thanks dr dray for the recommendation my elbows and knees have always been so itchy I think due to eczema which leaves them with a rash & doesn’t look good so I’m praying this helps ❤️

Hi Dr Dray, this might be a controversial topic - but it would so amazing if you could make a video about ways to skin whitening/lightening (not just hyperpigmentation) for those of us (POC including asians) who do see this as their skincare goal. I know this is a sensitive topic but because of that, it's really hard for those of us who do plan to lighten their skin to research for reliable info, which just makes the process more dangerous! Thank you :)
Dr. Dray can you please talk about bra burn hyperpigmentation and how to get rid of them 😩 Thanks for the informative video, I'm a new happy subscriber 😍
I use 90% of the products DR dray recommends including Korean skincare. Not only has my skin improved but my bank balance too. Omg and the BO remedy has been miraculous.
I know this is an older video but your content is so valuable! I always recommend and share your videos with people. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in your field of expertise and for being budget conscious.
I’m here almost 3 months later and Every product is sold out in the links and I told myself it’s bc dr dray recommended them and everybody clicked and bought haha! I bought the body retinol one from Amazon after another video of yours recommended it!! Can’t wait to try!
I love this video my boy 👦 he suffer from Eczema and some of this products mentioned here is been very helpful to minimize his itching and dry skin, Thank you 😊
I have used the eucerin roughness relief, thinking it was appropriate for the whole body. Unfortunately I had irritation on my shins! Urea is not for everyone. The product also has an AHA (lactic acid). I will keep it for my elbows and knees because those areas didn’t have any issues that I could see.
That aveeno body wash is good...I'm guilty of the soap crowd though, so I really like it as a face wash. It's like cerave hydrating married cerave foaming face wash. So good. Thank you for all the recommendations...I love having good skincare that works that's affordable thanks to you 🤗
My favorites for the body are Glytone 17.5% glycolic, Alpha 12% glycolic, Amlactin (lactic acid) and Okeefes skin repair. I really had no luck with the Advanced Clinical products. Also the dispenser is horrible, stops working when only half the product is gone ( you can still open it and get the product out). That’s just been my experience. Thanks for this video.
If you notice skin discolouration around joints/neck or underarms you should think about getting a blood test to check your blood sugar status. It could be Acanthosis, a skin condition which is an outward sign of diabetes. Luckily it can be reversed once your blood sugar levels are in check.
I hope Dr. Dray sees this comment because I am honestly super curious. So I actually bought the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-in Milk Sunscreen SPF 60 [so exactly the on she mentions here and in other videos just lower SPF]. And I was happily lathering it all over my face and body until laundry day comes around and BAM! after the white bra I wore had gone through washing, a yellow stain appeared all over it. I was stumped, until my mom told me that this had also happened to her before with certain sunscreens. I then did some research and it turns out that some sunscreens, especially those with Avobenzone, stain clothes when the clothes come in contact with water. But only with hard water. So, maybe this hasn’t happened to Dr. Dray because her water in her city is not hard. But I am wondering if she has heard about this/is aware, and if she could start recommending sunscreen alternatives that don’t stain.
I can’t wait to watch this video! Dr Dray, I was wondering if moisturizers with petrolatum (I use Cetaphil tub) don’t allow the penetration of actives the same way petroleum jelly does?
I've been wondering the same thing as well, I use the tub of Cetaphil too! Since petrolatum is an occlusive, I would think it wouldn't work with an active as well as a moisturizer without petrolatum. But, I'd love to see her make a video about this!
Yes, I love the Laroche Posay SPF 100 - I use it under my makeup. I like it because it spreads beautifully. And yes it’s shiny, but I powder lightly and my skin looks dewy and fresh. I don’t even bother using moisturizer.
Ahh I’m so happy I’ve been needing some good skin care products for my body but had a hard time figuring out which are some good options so this video was very much needed since I trust your recommendations
This video is just beyond helpful!! My dermatologist diagnosed me with eczema on my legs and I've just always had the toughest time trying to stop itching my legs. It's just so easy to tell someone to stop itching your skin, but the product recommendations have been a life saver to help me manage the itching.
I’m so interested in this spray! And I definitely want to try putting a moisturizer in the fridge for when I feel the ezcema itch coming. Thanks for the tips Dr Dray!
Dr Dray, you talked about a condition you can get with thickening of the skin from itching and scratching too much and I think I've given myself that on my feet 😭 Going to try the Eucerin, thank you!
could you do a video on the biggest bang for your buck for body sunscreens? i just bought the supergoop play sunscreen (18oz) but i’d love to see if there are cheaper/better sunscreens out there
She has videos similar to this. She recently did a drugstore sunscreen video and she has others like that or ones she talks about during her shop with me videos.
Forever thank you for your videos. My skin is so much better! This video is most interesting as I do have the itching issue. Appreciate the good advice about using a moisturizer and not scratching!
Goodness, your content is always amazing!!! Thank you a million for drilling in us the importance of sunscreen. I have loaded on sunscreen selection!! Got a few based on your recommendations!
They 3rd party tested it and discovered it was far below the SPF55. The problem was apparently pervasive among many Korean brands manufactured in Korea. They are hoping to bring it back, but has not timeline to do so. I loved that product, so disappointed, but thankful for their full disclosure.
Dr.Dray, thank you for all your advice, I am grateful to you. I exercise in a heated pool most days... I wear sunscreen on my face, protective clothes and gloves, hat, sunglasses...etc . What should I do to keep my skin healthy....
Seems you’re doing great. The heated pool might cause dryness on your skin though. Make sure you’re using a good moisturizer like the ones she mentions here.
I buy almost all my body / skin care by Nivea, what can I say, I am just a fan of the brand, and so yep, my sunscreen is that brand too. I have an SPF 50, used to be 30; chemical sunscreen. Love it, though, as it hasn't ruined my clothes yet. It's simply called "Nivea Sun".

Thanks for the informative video, I'm a new happy subscriber 😍
Yes please! I second this 💕
I use 90% of the products DR dray recommends including Korean skincare. Not only has my skin improved but my bank balance too. Omg and the BO remedy
has been miraculous.

Body skin care is love and compassion. Love the positive vibes you always shine 🌟🐎🐎🐎💛
I know this is an older video but your content is so valuable! I always recommend and share your videos with people. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in your field of expertise and for being budget conscious.
I almost asked you if the Advanced Clinicals retinol cream was useful...I bought it last week! You read my mind yet again. Thank you! ☺️☺️
I’m here almost 3 months later and Every product is sold out in the links and I told myself it’s bc dr dray recommended them and everybody clicked and bought haha! I bought the body retinol one from Amazon after another video of yours recommended it!! Can’t wait to try!
Dr Dray, I just got the PanOxyl waiting in my shower! Can't wait to try this trick!
Need this info! So much face care-specific info out there, need more body care info! Thank you!
Oh my gosh this was so useful I’m learning so much really appreciate it. You are my go to skin Guru!
I love this video my boy 👦 he suffer from Eczema and some of this products mentioned here is been very helpful to minimize his itching and dry skin, Thank you 😊
Dr.Dray you are a life saver. I deal with eczema and your tips help tremendously. Thank you.
The La Roche Posay melt in sunscreen is the ONLY sunscreen that does not burn my eyes or cause light sensitivity. I bathe in this stuff.
So good. Thank you for all the recommendations...I love having good skincare that works that's affordable thanks to you 🤗
Totaly bought the retinol one because of you! Getting my back hiperpigmentation treated! :) Thanks Dr. Dray!
Love all products are easy access in the US.
The alpha skincare body lotion is 12% glycolic acid. Do you use the 14% serum on your body?
@@noneofbusiness7739 I meant 12% I’ll correct it. I use the body lotion, not the serum. Thanks for clarifying.
Hi Dr Dray! Can we can an updated video like this on best body washes and body care products please! There’s so many new products!
Can you please do a video on the best drugstore conditioners/masks/oils for very dry hair ? Thank you.
@@Iris-gy2mi I know, I’m scared I’ve been wasting my exfoliants since I’ve been following her advice to apply them after moisturizer 🙊
I had ithat Retinol body lotion my cart at Macys and Amazon. However, I hit pay dirt at Marshals and got it for $5
Yes, I love the Laroche Posay SPF 100 - I use it under my makeup. I like it because it spreads beautifully. And yes it’s shiny, but I powder lightly and my skin looks dewy and fresh. I don’t even bother using moisturizer.
Thanks..
Good FYI
I bought the LRP SPF 100 thanks to you and I love it! I won't use it on my body b/c it's so expensive. I opt for the Neutrogena SPF 100, much cheaper.
Ahh I’m so happy I’ve been needing some good skin care products for my body but had a hard time figuring out which are some good options so this video was very much needed since I trust your recommendations
Please do a segment on nonenal skin hormone and what to use to combat it. Thank you.
I’m a new subscriber and I just gotta say I love this lady. I’ve learned so much from her. And I love how she covers affordable easy to find products.
This video is just beyond helpful!! My dermatologist diagnosed me with eczema on my legs and I've just always had the toughest time trying to stop itching my legs. It's just so easy to tell someone to stop itching your skin, but the product recommendations have been a life saver to help me manage the itching.
Yes!! This is exactly what I have been waiting for!! Thank you
You're so welcome!
I’m so interested in this spray! And I definitely want to try putting a moisturizer in the fridge for when I feel the ezcema itch coming. Thanks for the tips Dr Dray!
Cooled. MOISTURIZERis..
So awesome to see a derm shopping at walmart🥰. All the broke med students and residents thank you for your affordable reccomendations!!!
Forever thank you for your videos. My skin is so much better! This video is most interesting as I do have the itching issue. Appreciate the good advice about using a moisturizer and not scratching!
What are some effective mineral (reef friendly) sunscreens, but still protects a ginger. Thank you! ❤️✨🧋
I use that Hydro Boost Overnight stuff EVERYWHERE. I loveses it :)
advanced clinical retinol can u use on face for a beginner
Just received Eucerin roughness relief in the mail. [Elbows]
Can you do video focusing on post surgery scars? Im having breast reduction surgery and am worried about the scars. THANKS DR. DRAY!
Please, please tell me what treatment/lotion you would recommend for ichthyosis on the legs?
Since vitamin A is fat soluble, is it possible to absorb too much of it and become toxic?
Not all mineral sunscreens leave a white cast. There’s some really good ones out there like pipette and Eleven by Venus Williams unrivalled sun serum
Doctor Dray!
I love your channel. Thank you so much for all your good information ❤
Thanks Dr. Dray for the bug bite advice!
Goodness, your content is always amazing!!! Thank you a million for drilling in us the importance of sunscreen. I have loaded on sunscreen selection!! Got a few based on your recommendations!
Could you make a video about how to deal with chilblains and Raynauds syndrome?
Thanks for recommending affordable and easy to find products. Happy Tuesday, Dr Dray! Hope you have a peaceful evening. 💗
Dr. Dray! Explain why Beet the Sun by Krave has been discontinued. EDIT: Big fan! We appreciate you!
Ummm... you might want to check out the video on Liah’s channel about it.
NOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!!!!
I have PanOxyl! I'm going to try the armpit suggestion :) Thank you for the suggestion!
