How to dive an FPV drone but not dive like an FPV drone. Really interesting feature..

Didn't realize until taking the goggles off that the drone never really dove. All in all it's a great feature to add to B-Roll footage.

no.. this is a descend.. you can only make a dive in manual mode..
Yes I agree, but you can "kind of" simulate one with the motion controller there is no other way than that.
Kinda hard to dive with the motion controller, but at least put it in sport mode.
totally will try sport mode the next time I head out to the field.....
Thanks for sharing. When doing a hand catch landing, how do you turn off the motors when you flipped it upside down? Did you press anything on the motion controller or did you just flip it and it turned off?
Avata 2 kills motors when she gets tilted too far in Normal and Sport mode. All you do is grab the top and tilt over and it'll stop motors
Did exactly what yunghysterik mentions but you ask a very good question - great idea for next video.. Apparently you can tun the power off but not highly recommended.. Will show you tomorrow..
don’t do this often, only when you need to. It force brakes the motor and puts unnecessary wear. Should only do this if you don’t have a safe place to land.
@@HoboChedda thanks will totally keep that in mind. Especially since this drone can be self repaired and would have to shipped back to DJI
How do you get the overlaid data on to the video? I see it in the goggles but not when i playback the footage?
If you watch this - it is in the camera settings. there is a time line in the description. Just go to camera. Hope this helps.. Let us know how it goes..

@@How-to-by-Lou ok excellent, thank you very much 😸
Dont you need a Visual observer, while flying under FPV?
Legally and technically yes, but most people can't always have someone with them looking at the drone. Also, the drone has to be in your line of sight but most people don't do that either so yeah.
No thats what the camera and goggles are for
should i buy the avata 2 whats your opinion
Good luck finding one in stock. On dji’s website deliveries for new orders start at the end of june
@@constantindumitrascu5383they are in stock. The drone by itself isn't even out yet, they are only selling whole kits.
@@constantindumitrascu5383 i ordered it in this weekend got it alrdy for 2 days
Wow! didn't know that
Will do a review video to help you decide.. but will for sure share during the next live Q and A
Bob Ross on the MC3. Goodonya😅
this is a joke, right? 😂
I came for EPIC dive, but thats just shaky desend :D JUp that is not a DIVE that is just desent...
:-D
OMG!!! The Avata 2 goes soooo fast! I stimate 35 mph or more, even 36 mph. It’s the fastest drone ever! 😂
Get a rc3 and learn manual. And you will know what's a real dive.
Its misleading. This is not a real dive. U can even see the frame.

Why not just buy a real FPV drone and do a real dive?
With standard controller in manual mode you can do proper dive
I'm new to drones and even I know you can dive this in manual mode. You just sound jealousssss😂😂😂
@@Hatorian1 no one cares about your mini
@@orcus7877 It is adorable how jealous you are that you had to comment about it.
@@Hatorian1 I have both a DJI Mavic 3, a Mini 2 SE and an custom fpv drone, no one here is jealous of you
