I'm running a Roush Phase 1 supercharger in my 2017 GT... its great but it needs more power and all the nannies turned off.
Vmp offers supercharger pulley options to squeeze alot more power from Roush blowers.

Hey ken, I had mine dunes in November. In Chicago land area. Stage 2, 18 gt. It dunes at 645. That is whipple tune. Now it pulled 4 deg s of timing due to crappy gas or vibration possibly. I really want to get a tune from you guys to pick up power! So is the whipple tune very conservative??? Or what do you know about that.. Please advise.
Does this guy have bigger injectors? and any fuel system mods?
Also, what is the difference between gold and silver level tuning?

Dan Coover i have a 17’ with the Whipple stage 2. I had the whipple tune for about 6 months and just switched to PBD 3 weeks ago. The car is like night and day. These doods know what they’re doin. #teamlethal

Procharger is great as well but definitely a different driving experience with a centrifugal supercharger vs a twin screw

Thanks for the solid content. This video is great. Pardon my naivete, but what are the warranty implications on a new or newer car when adding substantial power? If the car is a daily driver, is it possible to have milder tuning in the comfort mode and apply the tuning you have demonstrated here only in sport or track modes?

Howard Lazoff I Supercharged my 5.0 and my warranty went straight out the door lol It depends on your dealership but going with boost will more than likely void warranty my man.
They have to prove the modification caused the part to fail.

Secondly, is that Whipple's "Stage 2" or is that your shop "Stage 2"?
Throttle Body and Fuel Pump Booster. We do not use the Stage 2 Whipple fuel pump. He kept the pulley at stage 1 because we had hit his power goal.

@@PalmBeachDyno get an extension pole, it will help a little more when shooting yourself at least. I want to come in when I get my new stang set up and have you guys do a dyno tune to dial it in. Also have a ford explorer that I think I have a lot left on the table that would be nice to get on the dyno.

On your blower cars, do you upgrade the oil pump gears and crank sprocket as part of your packages?
Only if the customer requests it. It's not nearly as big of a problem on the 2015+ engines as compared to 11-14. It's a fairly large bill between labor and the parts we have seen very few failures. It's a calculated risk
Guys are spending all this money and want to skip past that part. I would spend the money on that first before adding any blower /supercharger to a coyote engine of any year....
@@royrichardson8005 I'm of the same mindset. I just don't understand why someone would spend this kind of money and not take preventative measures to significantly lower the risk of blowing their motor. Pay the small extra to protect your motor. Pay $900-$1200 or so for parts and labor on the opgs/cs and protect your 10k plus motor.
The thing I don't like about whipple tune is that there are NO REVISIONS in the tune ya know.

Yes. The Stage 1 kit utilizes the stock throttle body.

@@kurylajarod We aren't a fan of that pump. We use a Fuel Pump Booster instead on this application

the Roush stage 2 has 570 torque and along the whole band is better up to 7k rpms. The extra 50 lbs of rear wheel torque gets a Mustang off the line as quick as any supercar...
