Shit; I rode the Harley LiveWire today. All electric getting off an exit ramp I hit 110 and it felt like nothing. Those Tesla’s are crazy. But I gotta be heard. I have a 392 Daytona Charger and I want to trade it in on a Mustang or the new corvette. I gotta watch more videos but how do they make these cars hook up?
A water/meth kit is exactly what this car needs. Cool those intake temps drastically and also increase octane. Maybe even use some Boostane as well to get the octane you need.
E85 isn’t consistent or even available depending on where one lives. Great stuff but I can’t justify driving 50 miles each way to get fuel and realistically stock up on it from my location.
Personally, before going with smaller Pulley, I'd opt with the bigger TB from Whipple. This way the car can breath in better than forcing more air into it's chocked [small[ throttle. Just my two cents!
How about more air? Looks pretty constricted. I cut away a bit of metal near the air intake and put on a larger air filter. Made a big difference. I have a 2018 Shelby GT Super Snake with a Shelby American original tune. I also changed the exhaust to 3" Borla ATAK system and dropped the resonator. Also I use 15W50 Synthetic motor oil. I live in Clearwater, Florida.
That's a stage 2 correct? I was so concerned cause mine dynoed at 640 on the dot in November after install, but seeing this clip it makes sense now. And like you said ken, going to E85 looks like a big advantage on my 18.. Like I said a few weeks ago, I WILL be calling you all in spring for my tuning!
Is that 690 wheel horsepower right? Ford Lebanon is saying there 800hp crank and that’s where he got his from if I’m not mistaken. Looking into getting myself one.
Did you guys adjust tire pressure between pulls? I could swear the initial baseline pulls the tires look flatter, where your tune they look fully pumped. 🤷♂️ Maybe I’m going crazy lol Great Power regardless

PBD, what are your thoughts with forced induction on the early gen 3 coyotes. Should the new owners be cautious of s/c there mustang. Is whipple covering the engine failures with there superchargers under warranty.

i run 3.625 on 93 with a whipple tune,ofc i have a full exhaust which changes pressure? mines a 2015. The 18s are making more power however pistons are slapping in a high percentage of engines :(
You can run it, doesn't mean you are making more power as we showed in this video. You would have to dyno it or run it back to back at the track to really know for sure.
excelerater I think what he was saying is you reach a point of negative returns. Rule of thumb is yes you will lower boost allowing for a smaller pulley for more power but you should verify through a dyno gains or losses ect.
I’d kill for a damn Whipple but I suppose the only benefit to my Centri is that it won’t heat soak nearly as bad? 🤷♂️ would this one benefit significantly from a bigger heat exchanger?
What difference would adding torco make? I ran torco in my roushcharged 2014 only when at the track . Never dynoed with/without the octane boost. Would that require another separate tune?
All depends on the health of your motor but they are advertised at that or more and even come with a nicely priced 3 year/36k powertrain warranty if your car isn't already 3 years old or have 36k miles.

The beauty of water/meth on a supercharger application is that you don’t run through Boost Juice (water/meth) as fast as turbo. 👌🏼 I got my Snow Performance Boost Cooler kit starting spray at 3 psi and ramping up to full spray at 6psi. Sprays full from 6 to 12 psi. 🐌💨💨❄️❄️❄️

it would of been cool to show rise in down stream air charge temp between both pulleys.
Would you consider a carbon fiber ram air hood a decent mod to help pull heat from the engine?

I picked up 60+ horsepower with Boostane and 1 more psi of boost on my 16. You would need a different tune unless you are simply using it for safety.

What is the most power you can pull on a 17 Mustang GT Roush Phase 2 On 93 octane?
With a VMP 79mm pulley you would be around 650whp so maybe 750 crank..That's the smallest pulley you can use without fuel upgrades.
