When he said 705 I thought that was an epic gain ok it's adapting 😮
Pretty amazing what you getting with a little boost looking forward to seeing you being able to put your tune in it in the near future great video as always
25years ago, I had a Mercedes with a 280hp V8 that could go 155mph. Now I have a 18 Mustang that makes nearly 200hp above that from the factory. To think I could ad another 200hp is insane to me. 🤯
Step by step, that's how you do it, and show it, nicely done, thx u for your service.
Honest work! ConGrats!
Enjoy these!
Wished I didn't live in Illinois. I'd love to have you guys do my DH. Watching this the final decision is made. Whipple for me. Great job, thanks so much.
I appreciate the feedback! People ship us cars all the time from all over the country. Might be an option!
The Ford dealer in Clinton, IL installs Whipple's and has decades of experience. I bought my 03 Cobra from them and they're installing my Stage 2 Whipple on my DH Premium once it comes in [6-8 weeks].
@@ragnarlothbrok6240Anderson Ford is the real deal. I lived 65 miles south of there. Bought a few mustangs from them. Now I live 60 miles South of PBD. I planned my moves accordingly 😂.
@@freedom6919741 Yes they are!
I know it’s probably a dumb question but this time the abbreviation got me Lol . What (DH) stand for ???
Thanks for the Quality Video . I have a 24 DH . It has plenty of power but we never have enough, now do we ?
Bought my S650 with the blower included, just waiting for it to come in, install & dyno. Given, I put a lot of money down, but all in a brand new $58k car with over 700 whp is a steal
What u mean blower included?
@@oscarmolina32supercharger
@@SilentMovements305 sorry I should’ve been more specific, where did you get this s650 with the blower included?
@oscarmolina32 its cool not me but I'm guessing he put a down payment for the car and the blower

Great video🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼
Impressive numbers even with headers, pulley and a tune. I still prefer the S550 body y'all did for me a few years ago. But good power none the less.
Damn, impressive!!!! Would love for you to Whipple and tune my 23 f150 but I am way up in Alberta Canada.
Great job Ken and Whipple! Looking forward to seeing Kelly hit the track with it shortly.
Can't wait!

Any plans on seeing what the gen 6 Whipple does on a third gen. I would love to see it.
GREAT VIDEOS BOSS HAD A QUESTION DID YOU TUNE IT AFTER ADDING OCTANE BOOSTER OR YOU JUST RAN IT WITH THE ADAPTIVE WHIPPLE TUNE, IS IT ACCEPTING THE PULLEY AND OCATANE BOOSTER WITH ITS WHIPPLE TUNE? AND DO THESE CARS COME WITH ETHANOL SENSOR
Good video... no bull shit fluff ... thanks
ahh, if you listen closely you'll realize this is total fluff. Not even trying to bash. One the sound and two he say's it. No one is getting these numbers on a base file.
I've been following you and I'm just learning. I also joined on line trading academy. Just trying to build a base and build my bas too. Thanks for information you provided. My gold is to learn how to find information like you and apply it to my trading. Thanks again GMB
I just called and left a message. I have the same car with the performance package. I would like to know how much boost you're running and if there are any concerns about detonation with the stock compression and stock pistons. Very clean install. also how's the heat? do the stock fan and radiator keep up? Thanks guys
PBD, will the 24+ be unlocked overtime or does it seem nearly impossible to be tuned by you?
Solid gains. Man that tuning device and interface is so archaic though lol
Yeah looks like shit
Looks like tuning in the 90s lol
Awesome! Makes me want to sell the fox and get something new
It's a very nice jump in horsepower and torque, and it looks like a factory install.
Hey Ken. I saw this video back in 2018 lol.
Can you put nitrous thru the Whipple supercharger that sounds like fun
“DAMN”
Have you ever try tuning an LC500?
A simm card goes in your phone and provides subscriber info. That's an SD card which stores data.
If one did a pro job of an E85 conversion on what you have there now, do you think it could go 1,000 HP ??
How well do these hold up to track (circuit, not drag) use? Few friends have c7z's and they heatsoak like crazy after a lap or two and fall on their face. This is a hell of an option though for a street car.
The Smiths at 8 minutes, I’d recognize that baseline anywhere
Whipple is taking your money. Someone needs to crack this code
Good luck getting them to honor the warranty 3y, 36,000. That's why you can't tune it
Best place to crack ECUs for pretty much anything with wheels or farm/heavy equipment, was Ukraine…
Epa certification costs a fuk ton
I agree. I miss seeing VMP's Idk what ever happened to them but Whipple has literally everyone in a choke hold.
@inutil6117 EPA certification, VMP isn't going to California and spending a couple of millions of dollars per tune ! To get certification is crazy, EPA started cracking down hard in 2020.
How does the whipple work with the car modes? Like my S650 stock fully loaded will completely turn into a different car when i have it on Sport mode vs Normal Mode, will the whipple enhance every mode? Or will i have to use a specific mode?
What’s difference in the F150 5.0L
And this 24’. Mustang 5.0L ?
Both coyotes , yeah?
Down in Florida the hotrodders do what they want!
800whp on 93. crazy!
What was the AFR?
Amazing. And that's just with 5 liters. GM and Dodge always got to have cubes.
How many camshafts?
Is this this warrantied with the 3.8 pulley whipple ?
i don’t this they as strong as a ls engine , heads breath good . very nice and clean
Boynton Beach?
I bet headers and full exhaust would hit that 800 and maybe add E85 but that is no weak car bar far. 😊
Does the whipple tune remove speed limitation?
Hey brother, question on these Whipple kits for you…
I have a 2021 F150, looking at the kits and there’s a “gen 6” upgrade I keep seeing. However I don’t see a straight out gen 6 kit for the F150…
Have you guys installed a gen 6 Whipple on an F150 yet? If so do you have a video of it? Also what numbers did it put down? Thanks!
No they haven’t.
cost of the kit and est on what install would cost?
I love the torque of the Whipple But I would love to HEAR THE WHINEEEE
Love this setup but i wonder how many numbers are being left on the table with the turbulence in that dual inlet intake??
It’s only safe for Dark Horse Mustang ?
do they make something like this for the explorer st?
Wonder what it would make out here in the West, where we get piss for gas.
Of course the real world question is, is it any faster?
What does this all cost?
What software is used for the dump?
how much boost?
How good was that , we better be able to get the Whipples in Australia
Why would you want a Whipple? Harrop make them for the Mustangs, plus much better backing and servicing being an Australian Company with hundreds of dealer Aust wide.
hey good afternoon, just watched the video, very impressive. are you running the factory oil pump gears or changed them out? pretty much my car will be street driven and once in a while ill drag the car. so would you change them out?
Haven't seen anyone change them
Unless you plan on doing burnouts and smacking the rev limiter, you are good to go. People were tuning the s550s to rev at 8k with 1k hp it would it would create so much vibration the oil pump gears would crack. BTW this doesn't happen that often it's very rare, but this spread like wild fire in the aftermarket world, and shops took advantage of the problem. It's good security to have them installed, but by no means is it mandatory.
“795.93” - hey, you’ve done this before😂
Do you ever tune for E85?
Anyone know what specific color this mustang is?
What wheels are on this car??
That's a gen 2 mustang you mentioned. How is it a 10 speed?
Anyone know what brand the front/side splitters are from?
How to delete the speed limiter?
Which whipple is this ?
on a friday night i put 1/2 a tank 98% octane and a bottle of octaine booster = SUBARU TURBO - and chase AUDI and MERCEDES ! = scaring some $200k cars with my 23 yo forester sf5 GT!

It makes the A10 numbers all that more impressive

Now you gotta upgrade the suspension and brakes
it was stock with 448 or did you have upgrades on it? you just mentioned NA not stock?
It has headers....
How are u not getting a bunch of tire spin? Seems 700 plus would spin easy. Really tied down?
It don't make no tq and the tune is lazy and tame. It's a "slow 700 hp" if that makes sense. The tuning situation REALLY hinders these cars people just don't get it. A properly tuned similarly set up gen 3 coyote would gap one of these...
You didn't mention what boost you were running. Can't be that much w/ a 12:1 CR. I like the Whipple because it has less heat induction to the compressed air then a Roots style. Are you guys able to cool the charged air? It's to bad the Insurance Industry wants cars built like tanks. I checked the Mustang site & what floored me was the blasted cars weighing 3,949lbs. for the manual tranny & 3,993lbs. for the automatic...for a Pony Car!!! At least the additional 44lbs. lowers the center-of-gravity but I'm still sick. The 'Bullett' 'Stang weighed 3,340lbs. w/ the manual. Where the heck did they hide 600+lbs.? Thanks for the video, good job!
The 2019 Bullitt was 3880lbs
So Whipple let's the car rev more ? I thought you said before the Dyno was speed limited ? Wouldn't that hamper the stock numbers ? I'm just trying to get this right. So you could have pulled higher in NA form and chose not to, to keep the numbers down ?
But the Whipple tune lets your Dyno go faster ?
The whipple tune removes the factory speed limiter. Its not a dyno limit
6:04
what psi ????
What all does it take to bring the HP & Torque together? I see a lot of modern muscle type cars throwing down huge HP numbers but always way lower torque. My simple mind assumes it's from a lightweight rotating assembly + small cubes, but is there ways to dial the numbers closer together on any of these newer muscle cars?
Example, instead of tuning to 740 hp and 600 torque, would it actually perform better tuned a closer match to 600 hp and 600 torque?
I'm only curious because I see this a LOT. Someone fill me in.
That's why some people like ZL1's/LT4's they are extremely balanced in that matter. 650/650 stock.
This engine in particular is DOHC and has TIVCT. They tend to rev more than anything, so that is where you don't get an equal stat
And MT82 splits apart at the seams.
Sry for the dumb questions below, I guess it is just wishful thinking on my part (warranty) , but adding 300 hp is no joke. I will have some questions on your next podcast like price of the parts and labor. Wow.
Stage 2 has no warranty. Ive decided to do the Ford performance by whipple. I is only 810 hp however, but you get a warranty and keep the factory warranty
@lastoutlaw_2129 good luck getting that honored when you're doing a pull and it let's go and they blame it on you after they see remote that you were ripping on it. Of course you were that's what cars like that are for but they'll use that to wiggle out of having to fix anything. That is why having boost "with a warranty" is highly overrated.
@midnight347 ford performance you keep your warranty. Just like in the past with Ford performance
Wow. Can’t wait to see what these cars would do with E85, headers, smaller pullies
Shop near me got 800 whp with the blower, LT headers and smaller pulley.
I couldn't wait either. Then i pulled the trigger. 812 rwhp before i changed to the smaller pulley . 3rd gear gets a bit fishy.
Installing a supercharger a stock motor? Say a prayer for the internals.
Why no one doing pulls with the lids off the airboxes. I want to hear if it adds blower whine.
Lowers power numbers I guess
does this kit include air-water intercooler? Injectors? What is included?
Didn't see one installed on the car
Can the transmission handle that kind of power,my guess is that it cannot, on the street it'll be ok but at a sticky drag strip the trans won't hold up I'm I right or not? Oh ya with drag tires.
Transmission should be fine but the clutch probably will not last
My 17 has been boosted on a stock MT82 for over 25,000miles. It doesn’t live at the track but the car has over 40,000 miles and it hasn’t had a single issue. I definitely use all the power often.
@AB-coyote that's great 👍
@AB-coyote same with my 2017. Im running the smaller pulley on E85. Over 20 k on mine since whipple install. The car had 27k when PBD did the install. I run pretty heavy on the pedal myself. Still on stock clutch.
Hello, I'm from NZ and have a 2001 AU falcon with a 302 Windsor, and I'm just wondering is there any Whipple superchargers made for the 302? and if not does anyone know a good easy one to fit? not trying to push a lot of power so not looking for a slap on 700hp like this beast, something more like 400-500hp, as I've heard these blocks like to split in half when pushed too much.
have you checked Raptor/ Capa here in Australia ? I think they make kits.
@@jestablitz3804 do they have a website?
Was there no way for Whipple to take advantage of the dual intakes for more airflow? I feel like they missed an opportunity, or would it not make a difference? 🤔
Doesn't matter since both ducts go to the same manifold anyways and the size of their single makes up for it.
I didn’t hear it mentioned but what octane boost did you use?
There's a few reliable brands, but they likely used Boostane.
I think it’s funny how all cars use to be governed at 110ish except like a vette now my 22 Camry stock does 144. Takes a little bit but can hold that speed. 4 banger base model.
Serious question as i am Not a mustang guy....how reliable will this car be? Like as far as daily or will this be more of a streetable drag race car?
Very reliable, they're great for daily driving.
440whp stock I seen them dyno ard 400 dam
That is some crazy power for just the blower!💪🏻we are thinking about getting a 2020-22 GT this summer for my son and that is gonna be the way to go for us I think on a power adder.also just looking out for you guys I don't see any way for the exhaust to exit the dyno area?I would definitely get something set up cause Mike Mirrilo got lung cancer and never smoked and he thinks if from all the years of tuning with no ventilation of the exhaust.
Thanks but we have a full exhaust evacuation system in the ceiling. I've been doing this 20 years and have Dyno in my company name. It would be pretty awful if I needed to be told that at this point. LOL
No disrespect but I'll be honest with you, (with my limited knowledge of the situation) as a 21 year old who was blessed enough to buy my own Mustang GT, id reconsider getting a Mustang for your son. Something of this caliber should come along with hard work and knowing the value of money. It'll teach them to respect the car and value of money. These things are fast and dangerous, especially if it's a first car.
@@burgerbandit3646agree. Putting a teenager into a 400 + hp car ? I remember my youth. No fear of speed. Thank God I only had 200 hp at the flywheel.
There are hipo driving schools across the country. We sent our son to one here in north central florida called The FIRM. Great schools, starts at teen driving experience and up to however good you want to get. Auto-cross and rally-cross, bring your own car or use supplied cars, your choice.
I know the claims from Ford regarding the Darkhorse engine has I think the bottom end beefed up. Would that be a good idea for this Whipple or is it not needed? Street use, I just want bragging rights, no real plans to become a drag racer although I would like to get an ET slip from the local drag strip after a few runs to shut folks up who want to street race. I have NO intention to loose my license or kill anybody doing street racing.
At these power levels it's definitely not needed. The closer you get to 1000 wheel hp it would be much more important.
Great review as always, Ken. Thanks for always breaking it down
Nice power 👍 What are you running for octane boost ? VP Racing Octanium or actual race gas ?
VP Octanium unleaded
@@PalmBeachDynowhat is the final octane?
How git my dune car
are those stock internals forged?
Rods yes, pistons are cast..Oil pump gears and crank sprocket cast.
Will this void the factory warranty? Can I buy some kind of aftermarket warranty?
The Stage 1 kit can be purchased with a warranty but of course that setup makes much less power.

Stock the car is rated at 12.5 quarter mile. What do you think it would run now?
With some tire and an 10 speed maybe low 11’s with launch control
Any reason why people are whippling GTs instead of the Dark Horse with the stronger forged rods and stronger transmission?
$$
With the locked down tuning you'll never come close to using that stouter bottom end so it's pointless. One of these days people are finally going to figure it out...maybe

Is the gen 3 whipple tune as refined as the gen 4 tune?
I would say no. The gen3 whipple tune is pretty good but most people opt for a custom tune from someone like us
