- Just got the car back this weekend. The actual install for the shop said it took 2 days of work. Labor on a whipple stage 2 kit is about $2000 plus added catch cans, oil, coolant and any other shop supplies. I would say if you are looking to modify your new S650 Mustang like this expect about $13,000 bill. Now that the car has a powerful supercharger installed the next mod coming will be lowering springs. I’ll be adding some 360 videos of driving soon.
that supercharger whine sounds amazing!! can’t wait to get my kit installed on my S650
It was definitely well worth the money. I find myself getting on the gas just to hear the sound.
you can turn the digital dash vacuum gauge in to a vacuum and boost gauge with forscan
Yes i know. I gotta change my Speedo when I get a chance also
could you explain how to do that having my whipple installed in 2 weeks and was wondering if my DH dash could show boost. Also what is forscan ?
@@paulabes4220it’s all done in forscan which can be downloaded from their site on laptop. You buy the usb adapter to obd from Amazon. Just search forscan adapter. The settings to change these things are in the software.
@@Properly-Gapped thank you for the help. I'm over 60 so computer and apps can be challenging for me I will look into this. will it work on 2024 dark horse? don't they have locked computers?
@@paulabes4220yes it will work and I’ll do a video on it soon. The computer is locked but these couple functions can be changed.
Bought mine with the Whipple blower new from the dealer in March and finally installed this week. Thing rips.
Yes they are pretty quick. Just use 8oz of Boostane premium per tank😂 that’s what I’m doing so far
Did installing the supercharger void your warranty? I am sorry but I didn’t like the sound you demonstrated. Love Mustangs and yours looks great in the red.
Depends what the charger breaks , Its better to just buy a factory installed one .
Why the cover off the fuse box ? Did it not fit after install
And definitely recommend that matte ppf screen protector from ocd plug it u haven’t gotten it yet for those fingerprints and glares
No I just had it off.
@@Properly-Gapped nice , how has it been so far driving wise
@@cormaro13 completely normal. Sitting in traffic, idle and just like stock until you mash the gas.
Only thing it’s missing is manual transmission 😮
That's in the S650 that's in his rear-view mirror ...
Very nice set-up Adrian! Should be a blast to drive!
What’s the difference between stage 1 vs stage 2?
Couple things. More HP and higher governor speed
Which kit did you go with from Foster? I don’t see one for 2024s on their site and loved the one I had on my 2017!
It’s just the one that says like mustang 16 and up. There is no official 24 kit. They are all the same for the 16 and up
Absolutely gorgeous, congrats bro
Should probably look at Palm Beach Dyno. They did this 4 months ago
I'm curious if methanol injection is a good option for a supercharged V8. I'm considering it for my turbocharged car and it not only adds power, it lowers the intake temps up to 50 degrees and cleans a DI engine.
@@jessicaphoenix1312 ite amazing how the tune adapts to changes automatically. People are using different pulleys and running E30 which the computer responds to. I can’t wait until the computers are unlocked and we see the cars full potential.
Factory warranty ?! Did you do it thru a certified to maintain warranty?
No warranty it’s a stage 2 kit. They only offer warranty on stage 1
@Properly-Gapped save that cash brother. You also waved tour factory drivetrain warranty too.
I was stunned when I went in for service and Ford voided my drivetrain warranty. 24 GT/CS Whipple stage 2.
@@FoxtrotUniformCharlieKiloDemoc yes I knew that when I bought the kit
@Properly-Gapped God Bless. I wish my dealer had been upfront with me.
Nice video! Can you tell me pls, how is your fuel consumption changed with whipple ? Ty
I drive hard so it’s terrible. I went through 3 tanks one weekend just driving around playing. It’s probably not much different from stock if you drive it normal.
@@Properly-Gapped There's no way to drive normal once you're FI ... LOL
Mind telling me how much everything costed with the whole kit and installation? Thanks man
Expect to spend about $13,000
@@Properly-Gappeddang. That hurts lol
@@RR_85 I’m just a regular working guy. I’m going to do a video on how I pay for all this.. I’m definitely not wealthy. I don’t own a business or have money coming in from videos or social media. I had to finance all this and I’ll be sharing how I made it all happen for as cheap as possible. It definitely wasn’t Affirm🤣
@@Properly-Gapped haha. @affirm... I just ordered mines and have to wait 3 months or so. In the future something like this would be a dream, but always concerned with warranty.
@@RR_85 it does take a while to get it but it’s worth the wait.
This is car is so sick that I did a 360 turn when I saw it and walked away
A lot more to come
Where did you get it done?
Gear heads performance in Mansfield TX
Where are you located? Would love a ride? ❤😅
Fort Worth
@@Properly-Gapped I'm in Houston, I have a stock 2024 Mustang GT, hit me up if you ever come to H Town we can cruise
What are the dyno numbers
Nice. 👍🏼 Texas 🤠🇺🇸
Do you have an install video for the foster mod?
Did you get stage 4 foster mod?
Does the whipple tune allow you to take the limiter off? Also what is the top speed with the supercharger?
You cannot modify the tune. There is an option to change tire size and that’s it. The speed limit is raised in the tune to 180mph
Im not sure how much i would trust some random techs to install this on a brand new car.
I actually agree and thought about the risk. It’s a LOT of money if something goes wrong. The biggest deciding factor is the other s650’s they been doing as well as the shop is completely full of mustangs. I know that doesn’t make them good installers but it makes me feel a little more comfortable knowing they do this type of work on the daily.
Gearhead performance 👎
Travis??? I wouldn't want him to look at my car much less touch it ... HPP performance all the way!! Better service, way better price, way better tune!! Period.....
@@Stang28662where HPP at? I never heard about them. I always keep my options open but at the same time these tunes can’t be modified only flashed. When custom tuning becomes available I’ll definitely be looking for a good knowledgeable tuner.
@@Properly-Gapped Google it ...not very far from where we're at!! 👍
Do you still have the stock transmission in it? If so, are you looking to upgrade it at all??
Ive got a stock 2024 performace pack, no active exhaust.
It’s the stock transmission and I don’t think I will reach a power level that will require upgrades. I’m just hitting 800
The 10R80 automatic rated to 1000hp
wish i had money for the whipple for my s650 😭🥲
I'm about to eat the overtime up at my job.. 😂 I have to get this
