2004 Lexus es330, How to find an EVAP leak . Quick and EASY

Today we are looking at a 2004 Lexus that won't pass emission. It has a code that says small EVAP leak and I'll show you guys a good way to find the leak and fix it. Enjoy!

The port with the green tag has a valve on it. And also says only 1 psi. So how did you connect it and doesn't a smoke unit with air pressure will damage the port?

Thanks for your video. My car is Lexus ES330 and has the same cracked hose as yours. Do you know which is the part number of this hose if I want to replace it with OEM parts?

PETER PHAN USA Well it depends on which codes that your system have. Mine has P0442 and P0456. I replaced all cracked hoses in my car, but unfortunately there are other issues with it. First you must check the gas cap and replace it with OEM. Next, you should check EVAP hoses. I have another video link you can consult. After you complete all these 2 steps which are easy and cheap to DIY, most car will be back to normal. However, the minority like mine will still have difficult and more expensive issues to fix.

Yes but expect to replace the evap canister and catalytic converters
