I have just bought them on sale for 85 EUR. I can't wait to open my box and try them out. My first pair of Asics was a GT-1000 9 which was already a nice enough shoe to run and walk in. I will say this about the fit of Asics: I have to completely delace them and redo the lacing, otherwise they're too tight for comfort. Laces run quite short, as well, I feel.

They are amazing. If you need stability but want softness and responsiveness these really fit the bill. Expensive agreed, snug agreed. Save up for them if needs be and half size up or go wide if you need more room. A great update

This shoe is definitely narrower across the toe than the previous gel kayano's. Try them on before you assume they are the same as your last pair.

Shoes are great and will look new to the end. Only problem is the outsole will only last a few months as the rubber grade is too soft. If they add replacement outsole it would be worth the price

Depends on if you need the support for not. If you overpronate, probably get this. If you are neutral or underpronate, get the nimbus

This shoe is far less stiff with its most recent version. If you are looking for more rigid support you may find it with the Hurricane. - Brandon
