I just picked them up today. I have the Nimbus 25 which have been the best and keeping the pain at bay. I hoping these Kayano 30s will help mitigate my pain the same or better. Thinking it may because of the support over neutral Nimbus.

On a side note, took your advice and tried on the GT2000v12 at work the other day, I normally don't mess with stability shoes outside of maybe the Tempus, but I love the GT and I think it's going to be my easy run shoe. Great recommendation

Ive thus far put 25 miles on my pair. It is a great shoe, lots of support and stability. But definitely not for tempo or quicker runs. It struggles quite a bit when you try to pick up the pace.

First run in my K30, very firm ride and poor grip. Grip ok if you run in flat areas but I’m in rolling terrain and downs when it’s slick can slide a fraction.
Feet ankles not happy so far.
Blast+ or Blast+eco ride firm as I’m loving the DNA loftv3 softer and poppy

Comparing the ASICS Gel-Kayano 30 (I have about 150 miles on them)and the Saucony Tempus (I have 450 miles on them), both are excellent mid-level stability with great cushioning for long runs.
I did find the Tempus a bit lighter and more sporty feel underneath, whereas the Kayano was a bit more stable (due to the width) and a bit heavier. But both are a little more stable than the ASICS GT-2000 12 or the Saucony Guide 16.
I use the GT-2000 and Guide 16 when on a "normal day run," then switch over the the Kayano/Tempus for gentle and/or long runs........

I’ve been buying approximately 5 pairs of Kayanos a year for the last 15 years or so, because it was the perfect running shoe for me.
In September 2023 I bought the Kayano 30 and to me it has nothing to do with its predecessors, for worse. Too soft and unstable, after 200 km they caused me blisters (which I never ever had before) and even sesamoiditis a week before the Valencia marathon, which I decided to run with a pair of old Kayanos 29.
In 2024 I’ve bought 2 pairs of Kayanos 29 in the internet and I’ll get a third pair for Berlin, but the stock won’t last forever. I wonder why they had to change anything in such a consolidated model with so loyal customers.

Tempus is a good option with the super foam. Asics GT 2000 12 is my go to easy and long run shoe right now. Saucony Tempus is more centered whereas the GT 2000 has more medial support. Both great options!

I've run about the same mileage in it: also finding the centred stability the real standout. The foot refuses to roll from side to side at all! It's also very comfortable (although I preferred the cushion level of the 29: this is firmer). Definitely for slow easy runs but I pair it with the Magic Speed 3 for the faster stuff so that works just fine for me.

DISAPPOINTED with the Asics Gel Kayano 30
I think Doctors of Running channel has a conflict of interest with this brand...
I've been a loyal user of Asics Gel Kayano series for years, but my recent experience with the Gel Kayano 30 left me utterly disappointed. On the day I received the product, I embarked on a 10km run and noticed severe blistering on the tips of my middle toes and the inner side of my heel. I decided to give it another shot after a 5-day break once my feet healed, but unfortunately, the same issue persisted during another 10km run. It's quite a letdown especially considering the hefty price tag of 5499 TL attached to this pair, which is supposed to represent its high standards. I genuinely hope Asics takes a hard look at customer feedback and prioritizes satisfaction to match the high financial expectation set by their pricing. The comfort and stability that were the hallmark of the previous models seem to be lacking in this latest iteration.
