If you were to choose between the Asics gel-quantum 360 6 and the GT-2000 10 for someone who stands all day, which would you recommend?

Did you recommend the mizuno over the keyano due to price or is the mizuno a better shoe? I've got the Kayano 27 as I started running last year ut up to 10k runs now so want to change but have flat feet and need a stability trainer.

I had no idea what pronation and/or supination of the feet was years ago and unfortunately bought old kayano and gt2000's a few times. I wasn't a runner back then. Anyways, good review, somehow your reviews are very good Fordy, when listening carefuly you give a very good detail of the shoe in hand. Very underrated channel. More success to you.

If I was to race in an IRONMAN 70.3 race with the 21km run, would you still suggest I get the Kayano 28 over the GT-2000 10?

Great video and thanks for doing a stability shoe video 👍. I want try the Mizuno Wave Inspire, but waiting to see if they bring out a new version of it in 2022. Currently using NB Vongo V5 really enjoying them, I ended up buying two pairs but the mizunos are definitely something I want to get this year.

These or the Saucony Hurricane 23? I overpronate a lot in my right foot, I currently use Mizuno horizon 5 and NB 860 v12

I know youre not a massive fan of Brooks Fordy but Im nearly 300 miles into some Adrenaline Gt21s they are light and responsive and as far as stability shoes go Ive yet to try a better pair. My Hoka Arahi 5s are a close second but the foams just not as poppy

I've been using Asics for maybe like the past 20 years. They are (usually) extremely durable, I love their looks, but they are very very dull especially after a few weeks of use. Before I became a runner, their soles would get hard say in about 6 months, now that I'm a runner their soles lose their initial 'youth' after about 2 months, but I am a tall muscular guy (before taking up running I was bodybuilding) I do sprint training and miles training, constrast I know, but purely for anearobic and aerobic health, nothing competitive.
I have used Nimbus, Cumulus, Kayano, GT-200, GT-1000 and a few other Gel's I can remember the name of. Just make sure if you are a pronateor, supinator or a neutral feet and choose wisely. All the series of Asics are for different feet types and purposes, but they are all dull, which I don't mind too much. :)
Now, I ordered the Novablast 2, having listened to Fordys reviews on it, seems like it's a bit more peepy.
You can get your gait analysed for a proper understanding, or just look at the sole of your most used shoe and observe how it's worn out. Gives quite a lot of hints. But make sure the shoe is a neutral shoe and not a support shoe, if it is it could skew the results. I babbled on for too long. Sorry if that bored you, glad if it helped out a bit. Best wishes.

Follow up: I just got my Novablast 2, didn't run in them properly yet but kind of 'tried' them out. Anyway, having used Asics for 20 years or so, these are like no other Asics. Penny if you don't need a support shoe, give these a try. They seem very different to what Asics usualy makes, very lively and energetic if thats your wanting.

I think people should actually consider Stability shows for training or everyday wear. Running shoes that have no laterally support m sorry 6 could turn someone into a party time pronator. Happened to me... It comes and goes...
Tennis shoes offer for 6 laterally 6 support but no cushions. Stability shoes i think it's an 'in between'... They just have a bad rep or misunderstanding as 'shows for handicap people'...
