I was taking a day off from Heathers challenge to do something "lighter" my mistake.. don't ever underestimate the power of a 1kg weight plus repetition... the glutes exercise was a KILLER! The second glute was already shaking even before starting :D great exercise, very smart!

This was my first time doing Pilates. The perfect combination between working out and meditating that I need in my life. However, 8lb weights were a bad choice 😂 Going to have to work my way up to those babies. Thank you 💛
Such a great workout! For these kinds of arm exercises with prolonged periods of repetitive quick movements, 2 or 3 lb max is recommended (per many fitness gurus including Tracy Anderson). Otherwise you could really hurt yourself! You can also use cans of soup. (Nicole is using 2.2 lb hand weights in this video).

I tried their Pilates class that they offer there, and honestly, all I could think of during the class is "wow, Nicole's classes are SO much better!!!!". The best flow of all. I have repeated everyday for a week and experienced a significant progress.. the first day and the last day are totally different.. I applied 2.5 kg on the last day and succeded though even with 1 kilos I struggled on my first trial. Will keep working of this video with heavier kilos another week and write down the results. Thank you Nicole for all your efforts you are the only PT I can follow up on youtube... pls carry on adding new videos 🙏🙏

That's what I feel too, I'm 43 and I only used to do weights and cardio in my teens and 20s. I wonder how amazing I would have felt as a younger person if I knew about Nicole's pilates then (I mean they wouldn't have existed but just Pilates in general). I am new to this Chanel, which I came across to while looking for some lighter exercises after hurting my back weight lifting. Lots of Pilates classes u was recommended just didn't feel enough for the muscles. Nicole, I love how you're implementing light weights with Pilates basics. I must say, have been doing pilates for a month. My digestion has improved drastically. For the longest time I couldn't feel hungry,but now regularly, doing pilates, has improved my hunger levels. My food intake has improved and at the same time I can see some good changes in the body.

I remember doing Mary Winsor DVD’s when I started doing Pilates. I’ve been searching off and on over the past few years hoping that I can find someone that can match her tone. I just so happened to run into this. You are very gentle with your moves and just when I’m about to give up, you change into something else.. which is great 👍🏾.

lemme explain in 5 keypoints: • sweaty • intense • legs - dead • arms - dead • core - dead i did it yesterday using 2 kg dumbells and it makes me feel like i did a 1½h weightlifting session with about like 10kg dumbells haha. nicole is killing me and i love it and youuuu should do too!!😂

i did it yesterday using 2 kg dumbells and it makes me feel like i did a 1½h weightlifting session with about like 10kg dumbells haha.
