@@lucyluu3539 Yes, I am down 60 pounds since starting the carnivore diet, with one major caveat: I was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer in November, and have been undergoing chemo and proton therapy from late November to early January. Other than having to modify my diet during therapy to NOT lose weight (long story), I am back on carnivore and losing weight again. Unfortunately, this cancer journey will ultimately end with 2/3 of my esophagus and 1/3 to 1/2 of my stomach being removed to rid me of the tumor and cancer. This will be at the end of March or early April. So, with that being said, with a combination of carnivore, cancer, and surgery, I am predicted to be down a total of 100 pounds by June. This is three months earlier than I had wanted, but circumstances being what they are, I will make the best and join the ranks of cancer survivors.
I am a 54 y old who has dieted on and off since I was 8 thanks to my mom. I am 405 lbs and my last diet was the Wonder diet. I need to lose weight for health and employment. I have started traveling to other states via airplanes and do not fit in the seats. I Tavel to Oregon and Arizona every two months. Last time I did this was my first time and it almost killed me with all the walking. Today I started cooking and preparing meals based upon the carnivore diet. We’ll see.
I have been on this diet since August last year. And so far I have lost 97lbs. I still have 130lbs to go but I am now off some of my diabetes medications and at my next dr. Appointment I am planning to eliminate more medications. I have lost from a 6xtall to a 3 xtall. And from 56+ to 46 pant. I fit my 44’s on yesterday and they were tight and I could just barely button them up. My wife is having just as good success.
i eat two eggs in the morning, drink coffee, then I eat 125 grams of burger with a little green vegs. and I am full the whole day. sometimes, instead of eggs I eat a tin of sardines or salmon fish. I don't feel like i am under eating, if I get bored, i eat some nuts and some cheese and drink herb teas. and I have ACV with water in the morning. I have been eating like this for a month and I lost weight and I am still losing weight. I am under 5 ft tall and weigh 112 lbs this morning. At my heigh I should weigh 90 lbs, maybe i will get back to my high school weight LOL My arthritic hands healed and I do not feel hunger at all and I do not crave for carbs or sweets at all. Laura I’ve been Carnivore for about a year now and just switched to the Lion Diet. Variety is so important! Tastes, cuts, textures. You have to get creative!
I started the carnivore diet a month ago and have only lost 2 pounds. But I measured this morning and I could tell I had lost anywhere from a half inch to a little bit more in different areas! You are my inspiration so I’m going to continue on the diet I am 74 and I weigh 168 pounds and 5’8”” tall. I don’t mind if I lose a couple more maybe two or three but if I could just Lose inches I would be totally happy with that! I love the diet, because I love meat and fat and eggs!!
I’m 6 months on carnivore and have lost 13 pounds my friend started same time as me and has lost 40. Comparison is the killer of contentment and we all have to find what works for us!
@@denisekrueger8745 Thanks for the encouragement! I really started the diet to feel better and I have accomplished that! I’ve only lost 2 kg but have gone down 3 dress sizes. This is a weird diet. Even my measurements haven’t changed that much. Hard to monitor other that the clothes
I was despondent when I wasn’t losing weight so went on lion diet. Mainly beef n lamb n cut out the butter. I noticed the difference within a week. Some people can’t handle the butter for weight loss. I will reintroduce it when I reach my goal
@@terri4337 Great that you've found a solution to your problems, I'd be wary about reintroducing things on a daily basis, my recommendation is that you enjoy different meals on the weekend and then stay lion through the week to maintain your goal weight.
I am amazed how consistent 10 minute a day red light therapy brightens my face. I believe it also does other things like helps aches and pains, but the skin brightening was truly a revelation. I thought it was a gimmick, but it worked so well we have actually lugged our three feet by one foot hanging red light and near infrared light box all around Europe and across the Atlantic back to Mexico. It is a pain to build a box for it and cover it with Styrofoam and pay the extra to have it as checked baggage, but that's how well it works.
@@iMacEagle1 interesting I just dove in and had no issues at all; four months in I will add a veggie maybe twice a week but just trying to understand which foods do not agree with me.
I love your honesty and open ness about things. Too many presenters are vague on the details or talk too much about numbers. For example, I got the protein/fat measurement thing from other You Tubers totally wrong even though I’d watched sooo many videos. I thought I could have 136g of protein with extra fat. I only just realised my mistake when I saw what you eat - showing us rather than explaining in numbers or vague terms. My first week of carnivore last week was TOUGH because I misunderstood other you tubers’ calculations. Last week was like a starvation diet - constantly hungry, fatigued and low mood. I was dreaming of my next piece of fatty rib eye. Why? Because in 24 hours every day I ate half a steak (or pork belly) and some egg yolks. So PLEASE keep videoing your meal preparation and eating. I can’t be the only one who needs visuals to understand and ‘get it’. I ate brunch today until I was stuffed (one whole fatty rib eye, 4 egg yolks and Greek yoghurt) and today I feel great!!!!🎉 and am confident I won’t have any hunger pangs until 5pm Planning to eat either a couple of pieces of pork belly or make a carnivore pizza I saw on other channel. I’m so happy that I know you have stopped my future hunger and worries about this lifestyle.
❤ Deepest thanks to you and your wonderfully supportive family. You are doing good work, Laura. You are helping people to heal themselves. I’m one of them. #PHD #MeatHeals
Electric knives are amazing when you don't want to mess with an electric meat slicer!! My meat slicer has been used about 3x in 10 years, cuz my electric knife does the job very well & quickly!! I'm on my 2nd electric knife...in 10 years, but that's life. My skills, using the electric knife, have much improved. I don't even like the thought of using the meat slicer anymore. However, my son is a welder suffering numbness from the vibration of the tools he uses. This may come into play with your preference. Vibration is not good on your nervous system! Fact! ❤ An electric knife uses vibration, so beware. 🎉❤
These videos have been so helpful for me. I’m on day 8. You really show us how we can live normal lives while enjoying the benefits of this way of eating. Thanks!
We use that carver costco ham often fried for breakfast! Also fabulous in the crockpot on low, add 1/4 c water about 4-6 hrs. Very tender that way! Danya
I’m not sure I’ve seen you Laura use cream. But sometimes I will sauté up some shrimp with butter and garlic, then, right at the end, I’ll add 2 tablespoons worth of heavy cream. That’s just an example however, much you like and then I’ll eat that with my steak and it just gives me a little sauce to go along with the steak changes. The taste sometimes really good.
Thanks for the vid. Needing some meal options. Newbie Carni here and learning to eat differently. Don’t want to get bored with meals so your tips for variety is a big help 👍🏼
same here. I am just over a month in, and I am BORED I think I may have to do a carnivore "lite" and do a salad once in a while or something...I do like that I don't get hungry often. But, now I am just not looking forward to eating another meal of MEAT...so like I say, maybe keto would be better for me. ?? Me & my sister are doing it together, we try to mix things up, with diff meats.... we aren't doing much cheese at all, because we don't want the dairy to slow the weight loss. We are older women so it goes slower.
Im a Laura too and also have a snake pet haha. I ketovored a few years back and did amazing on it. Lost 30 lbs and had high energy. I fell off the wagon during some life transitions. I gained 20 pounds back. 😢 started a 33 hour fast monday and my first meal was carnivore with a small garden cucumber on Tuesday. Feeling sluggish and tired. But i know its temporary. Thank you for your video!
Normally I have no problems skipping a day of eating. However this week, I encountered low blood sugar! That was not fun. I was quite sick on the second day of fasting. A tablespoon of honey is what saved me.
Fascinated by this diet. I couldn't eat that much meat personally (I'm not much of a meat eater) but clearly this works & looks like you are glowing. Thanks for sharing

I do what you do. I am keto, but I limit my carb intake extremely . I also eat differently throughout the week . Making it work for me. I eat twice a day . I am leaning more into carnivore. May be shifting that way for a week or two.
Thank you so much for all the different meal ideas! I love your channel and you look so much younger and healthier the longer you go carnivore and with the amount of weight you lost....congrats!! I also live in Arizona and to go without a/c for a day, even an afternoon is brutal 🥵🥵
I just found this channel today. *Why can’t you eat fruit and veggies on a carnivore diet? *How frequently a week is the intermittent fasting? *What has worked to tighten loose skin after weight loss? I’m 49 was recently diagnosed as diabetic. Refused meds to try a diet of 85% eggs, chicken and 15% ground beef, steak, pork, fish + 3/4 plate veggies each meal + daily exercise. and in 2 months lost 15 lbs and lowered my fasting blood sugar from 202 to an average between 122-132. I have 45 lbs to go. Goal date March-April 2024. If anyone can answer thanks.
you can eat fruits and veggies, but then it wouldn't be a carnivore diet. People do lots of variations of the carnivore diet. Very strict is, meat salt butter/fat... this lady is doing a variation of carnivore, having a few pickle slices etc. [ thats what I have been doing ] I don't think I am one who could do strict carnivore. Keeping the processed foods and sugars out is the main thing. Not sure on the fasting, I'm still learning. I have heard carnivore is pretty good at helping the skin bounce back....
I find this channel very enlightening when thinking about when I get to the maintenance stage. Started just over a month ago at 300lbs. Already 20lbs gone with no exercise. Once fat adapted this woe is a breeze. I'm experimenting with intermittent fasting and also ADF. I had planned to lose 20lbs in 10 weeks for my upcoming vacation in October but that's gone 😁 😮 Already planning meals for when I'm away so I don't break this fantastic journey. The recommendation for a person my height is 220lbs so another 60 to go. Then I'll be really scrutinising Laura's weekly variety. Great content 👌💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️

Big change for me, four years ago, was elimination of sugar, carbs, grains, seed oils, and especially anything corn. Have gone from mostly veggies to mostly meat, dairy; (kefer, aged cheese, butter).( Butter, one quarter pound a day!!). Only eat when hungry. Above is the "ideal goal". Occasional green banana. No real difficulty elimination of fuits and vegetables. Real challenge; not buying ice cream. Usually two meals and 16 hours not eating. Weight very stable last two years. Age 76 and in reasonably good health. Adding sourkraut recently.
I found eggs always made me feel slightly ill after eating them. I googled it and it seems a lot of people have this issue and not eating the whites seems to work. It definitely works for me. If I'm adding eggs to my ground meat mix for breakfast, I'll just do one whole egg and 2 or 3 yolks. Seems to work.
So glad i found your channel. I was 345 doing low carb and fasting but needed another go. Going to commit to this and see. Your skin is mesmerizing! Thanks for such great, down to earth, family content ❤
I love the "what I eat" videos and the "what I buy" shopping videos. Both are really helpful and inspiring when it begins to feel like more of the same". Somehow, looking at someone else's steak makes me want to eat one of the ones in my freezer that I just turned my nose at! No idea why, it's just true. Must be some weird extension of the "food tastes better when somebody else cooks" truism! 😂 I wish I had a grill, but I make do with a grill pan or heavy skillet on the stove. Would food cooked on an actual grill taste better? Probably, but It works and still tastes delicious. Just gotta do what you gotta do. 🤷🏼♀️ I keep forgetting to tell you how thankful I am to your Amazon store. I like to occasionally check out the Amazon stores of people I follow as I find many of the things there are useful. So I checked yours out in early July. When my a/c went out (yours being out is what reminded me to tell you) not long after (North Carolina), I remembered seeing the ice rollers and ordered them right away. I was glad I did as it was out for some time since EVERYONE in the country seemed to need the same parts and there was a bit of a wait! Those came in so handy and were perfect! I had bought a 2 pack - I used one and I used the other on my dog. He appreciated it, too! I like that you can give them a quick wash, pop each into a snack size ziplock and into the freezer. They refreeze pretty quickly and we're true lifesavers! So, thanks for that, too!
For me to succeed i have to have flavor and some variety ! I eat meat , salt, eggs, butter, bacon and very little dairy . I use LMNT and I love flavor ,spice and marinade but I do check the labels for carbs ,sugar and other ingredients before buying . I started “carnivore” 2 weeks ago I feel great. I asked the FB group about pickles and of course I was told NO you should do keto if you’re going to do that. I craved sweets on Keto I won’t add that many carbs back to my diet. I do artifice sweeteners too which I know I need to get rid of
Funny. We are told everything you are eating is unhealthy, including charring meats. Seems to be working well for you. You look glowing. Unfortunately the diet wouldn’t be for me as I’m not a great meat eater & gag at eating meat fat or bloody meats & prefer vegetables. I need to up my protein so looking for inspiration.
A tip for fat. Use ghee instead of butter. The milk fat in butter has a very low smoke point and easily burns. When ghee is used, the milk fat is removed and allows you to sear meats on high heat with the benefits of butter. Also great to use for eggs and to add yo low carb vegetables like green beans. Ghee and lemon juice with lemon zest makes beautiful beans.
I just finished a 95 hour fast with a shoyu ramen bowl with my 11 year old son 🙂 I was originally planning on getting 4 or 5 beef patties from McDonald's but my son was craving for ramen so that was more important. I'll have the burgers san bread not tomorrow but the next day. I'll fast tomorrow.

If you have a hispanic grocery store near you and it has a meat counter, check out chicharonnes con carne. They are freshly made ones that also still have pork meat attached. Very yummy!
It’s ok! I looked at abuse frequencies I was carrying. They linger, wait for an opportunity to take over, when down or when feeling good, either or. Sweets , they are a tough one for me too . I'm more inspired to try and continue after reading the comments
@@suzannekeith7304 Wow! That's so good to hear.
I have nerve and foot pain as well to name just a few of my issues, (and I just turned 60, and I have 50 #s to shed). I have a LOT of healing I hope to do, I am going to do this as well, but first I am consuming my produce and GF pasta, and other. I would like to start right away, but I am on a limited budget so I can't throw these things away., and I need a few days of Psyching myself up to it.
I wish you the best!
Because of this video, I discovered the Carnivore lifestyle. I was already on 2-weeks of a low carb (sub 20g) lifestyle, and was searching for something more. Thank you for this video, and the info that you share on your channel. From your channel, the whole world of the Carnivore lifestyle is opening up to me. Todays is day 30, and I am down 24lbs...
How are you doing in this Diet? Still losing??
Amazing fast weight loss. Curious how much you started at . weight wise. Im just wondering if its faster for others depending on starting weight
We’ll see.
Would love an update 😊 how have you done these last 2 wks?
I just started it too. Good Luck.
@@SoTiredoftheToxicBS me too! Im exc😅ted!! Its going to be great!! ❤

i eat two eggs in the morning, drink coffee, then I eat 125 grams of burger with a little green vegs. and I am full the whole day. sometimes, instead of eggs I eat a tin of sardines or salmon fish. Laura, you look so healthy now, and you have a beautiful smile and pleasant voice. Thanks for all the work you put into your videos. It is appreciated.
Laura I’ve been Carnivore for about a year now and just switched to the Lion Diet. Variety is so important! Tastes, cuts, textures. You have to get creative!
You could write a book "what I order" at every restaurant you can think of. I would definitely buy it
I started the carnivore diet a month ago and have only lost 2 pounds.

Thanks for the encouragement!
I really started the diet to feel better and I have accomplished that!
I had an IT band injury and it has hurt like sciatica down my leg for 2 years, it’s completely gone! The 2-3 pounds goes up and down.
I really feel great so I’m going to continue the diet! Thanks for the encouragement!
Thank u
I just started the Carnivore diet all because of your channel. I just started day three :)
Best wishes
Congrats, starting is the hardest part. No sit back and eat meat and watch your life change for the better ❤
Do it slowly. You don’t have go 100% from day one. I started 3 4 times in week after 2 months I’ve done 6 times and then full weeks.
I just got done with day 4 of the carnivore diet. This is definitely doable
I ate brunch today until I was stuffed (one whole fatty rib eye, 4 egg yolks and Greek yoghurt) and today I feel great!!!!🎉 and am confident I won’t have any hunger pangs until 5pm
Planning to eat either a couple of pieces of pork belly or make a carnivore pizza I saw on other channel.
I’m so happy that I know you have stopped my future hunger and worries about this lifestyle.
Wow, the transformation from the before to present photos are incredible. Bravo. Well done.
Love your Chanel. First time carnivore because I saw your video. Into it now for 2weeks. You inspire!
These videos have been so helpful for me. I’m on day 8. You really show us how we can live normal lives while enjoying the benefits of this way of eating. Thanks!
Thanks for all these useful tips! Love it! I'm on day 44 as a carnivore after 18 months on keto!!! All the best from Per Aksel in Norway! :D
Swedish-American here. Don’t forget the herring!

We use that carver costco ham often fried for breakfast!
Also fabulous in the crockpot on low, add 1/4 c water about 4-6 hrs. Very tender that way!

This showed me that I need to eat more to suppress cravings and include more variety. Thanks for sharing.
Oh man I think I still heard that tritip mooing. You made my mouth water - the only way to go is rare.
Can you make another video of you and your Mom? She was so delightful and inspirational to me as she is in my age group
Thanks
Normally I have no problems skipping a day of eating. However this week, I encountered low blood sugar! That was not fun. I was quite sick on the second day of fasting. A tablespoon of honey is what saved me.
Fascinated by this diet. I couldn't eat that much meat personally (I'm not much of a meat eater) but clearly this works & looks like you are glowing. Thanks for sharing
My sample pack of LMNT arrived today. I used your code, so thank you, Laura! Tried the lemon-habanero first - SO good!
What is LMNT? I an new to Carnivore.
@@SA-pm8pn its an electorlyte powder you put in your water or coffee, to keep you from getting leg cramps etc... its very salty...I use half a packet when I use mine, because its too salty for me otherwise.
I put 1/2 a packet of Chocolate LMNT in each cup of coffee every morning. It keeps the leg cramps from happening plus it tastes delicious! I do add 1 tsp organic cream and drops of monk fruit sweetener. I do fear coffee is stalling better results, though.😓
Great video. I never thought of chicken salad on pork rinds what a great idea! Also your complexion is amazing.
Love red light. It heals mitochondria

Do you have a video tour or tutorial showing your outdoor cooking grills and tools? I’d love to see what you’ve got. 😊
I do what you do. I am keto, but I limit my carb intake extremely . I also eat differently throughout the week . Making it work for me. I eat twice a day . I am leaning more into carnivore. May be shifting that way for a week or two.
I was just watching your meatball recipe short! Love your videos, thank you!!
I had planned to lose 20lbs in 10 weeks for my upcoming vacation in October but that's gone 😁 😮
Already planning meals for when I'm away so I don't break this fantastic journey. The recommendation for a person my height is 220lbs so another 60 to go. Then I'll be really scrutinising Laura's weekly variety. Great content 👌💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️
That’s really great. It’s easy isn’t it? I have a jawline again by eating this way. Enjoy pre-vacation weight loss journey.
@essexranger how have you been doing? have you reach your target weigh?
Love the 'What you Eat' videos. I do not do low carb/carnivore right because I don't lose. Gallon of water a day and very little carbs since January. Not giving up!
A gallon of water is too much probably
@@chrishnah yes it may be flushing electrolytes and minerals
So what about kimche, sour crout, and mushrooms???

Don't cave in, don't cheat, do it for you.
Start with a week, then another, then a full month, then see if you really want to go back as im sure you will have notice plenty of good changes that you won't feel like going back to old habits.
@@irislama4695 I was sluggish at first too, make sure your getting enough FAT, I increased fats and my bowels snapped out of it.....AND make sure your getting enough salt! That is why they advertize the LMNT electrolyte powder your body will need it.
I’m on day four and struggling because eggs make me gag and not a fan of a lot of meat. I do feel better though so will plow through.
I really appreciate these videos to get a sense of what works for you and your family. Thank you!
im starting my journey monday, you just motivated me!! thank you for this
I love the "what I eat" videos and the "what I buy" shopping videos. 😂
I wish I had a grill, but I make do with a grill pan or heavy skillet on the stove. Would food cooked on an actual grill taste better? Probably, but It works and still tastes delicious. Just gotta do what you gotta do. 🤷🏼♀️
I keep forgetting to tell you how thankful I am to your Amazon store.
I’ve gotta stop the excess coffee or quit coffee and curve my portions of food I eat when not hungry.
Fasting and TRE help
I also have a AID .
What’s the chicken salad recipe? I love it but wasn’t sure how to make it carnivore…is primal kitchen Mayo ok?

I started “carnivore” 2 weeks ago I feel great. I asked the FB group about pickles and of course I was told NO you should do keto if you’re going to do that. I craved sweets on Keto I won’t add that many carbs back to my diet. I do artifice sweeteners too which I know I need to get rid of
If you do pickles, definitely dill only. 🥰
I’m so amazed at when people eat carnivore their faces change along with their bodies!! And they are so happy!!! 😂
You are such an inspiration!!! That thumbnail is outrageous! Doesn't even look like the same person!!

It’s $299.00 in Michigan
when you eat it looks sooo yummy! You always make me hungry as well, because it looks as if you really enjoy the food!
Thanks, Laura! 🙏
I’m fat-adapted & can long-term fast, but on my feed days, I “pig-out” & cheat with carbs. 😩
It’s ok! I looked at abuse frequencies I was carrying. They linger, wait for an opportunity to take over, when down or when feeling good, either or. They’re not you, but old patterns, belonging to others that you’ve taken on through no fault of your own. See them for what they are, and increase your kindness and self-care. I say this for myself too!
Also you can use chicken flour or pork rinds flour to breading your chicken breast
Yay for homeschooling 🎉🎉🎉

All nutrients are in meat. There's nothing missing
Thank you so much for this information. Really thinking about going carnivore
My co-worker went carnivore 2 years ago. She shed every ounce of fat, was able to get off of methyltrexate for Rheumatoid Arthritis, and her skin and hair are fabulous. Her blood work is pristine. Just found your channel thanks to FiftyPlusBeauty and am loving it. I have three grandchildren aged 7, 6 and 3 who hardly eat any protein and especially not meat. I am worried about their brain and other development so I would like to introduce some protein meals little by little. Could you make a video on this and on carnivore/keto for kids? Of course, they are very picky eaters, so the meals can't be spicy. Thanks.

My kids’ brains are great! We homeschool and they are 17, 15, 12, and almost 8, and have not eaten animals since 11 years ago. Plants contain protein. 😊
