Ground clearance on the Land Cruiser is too low for typical off road use. It is probably great on dirt roads, reasonably maintained camping/forest service roads, snow/icy conditions, etc. However, if you need to get through some off road obstacles requiring clearance, it is a no go. It doesn't matter what the crawl control system does if you don't have decent ground clearance. Wranglers, Broncos, Grenadiers, many pickup trucks, Grand Cherokees, Defenders, Cherokees, Expeditions, etc. offer more, mostly much more. Even many soft roaders offer more ground clearnce than this.
what type of trails do you normally go on? i have the previous generation gx which had similar clearance stock and it’ll go to harder places than you would think if you are willing to bash it. of course its not going to rubicon stock, but with proper skids and sliders, it’ll go in 7/10 onx rated trails
@@pennmikael I don't think you will go on a 7/10 trail without damage. A 7/10 Colorado or Utah trail would be challenging even with stock Wrangler Rubicon.
Their crawl control is world leading but their drivetrain has about 5+ years to mature to keep up with their former V6 and V8 systems. Until then I'm not going to consider buying a Toyota.
Man I can't wait to pick up my 250. I appreciate these videos
Great comparison. I get more confident each time I take my 250 out on the trail and have had no issues on the trail.
Jeep is shocked? Why would you say that? Jeep has been doing this for decades.😂
Jeep is still behind with their crawl control imo, but it’s a really good system
Great content! Love that new craw control.

Good thing it has skid plates and rock rails

GX is even worse if you can believe it. 4Runner will supposedly have a more acceptable GC.

@@byronlarson5534oh you’ll have damage😂 just saying it can do it
Both lands cruiser looks good going up the hill
Great video
Love mines
It's getting closer and closer, pretty soon you'll be able to go from the mall parking lot to the off road trails with out ever learning to drive
LOL
Can you please review the new defender octa , i am waiting for that review 😂😂
Dealer told me they won’t be in until middle of next year
Toyota is so 🔝 tier
Absolutely love the Land Cruiser, ready to see a new Rav but at least we’ll see the 4Runners on the road soon 🛣️
Both Land Cruisers ate them hills up 😭 & your hair looks nice!!
One of them definitely sounds better
Too bad this is not the Land Cruiser we have in the USA🙈
is this new land cruiser power train the same as new 25 4runner?
if so.....why have both vehicles?
A question I’m still trying to answer
@BenHardyCars one of them wont last. competition against each other i think.
One looks mature for the mature audience and ones for the people with ear gauges.

On road it’s better than old 4Runner that’s where most drive these anyway
@ the new ones won't last long and if in going to buy a car to use for 5 years it's going to be something with more luxury
New land cruiser i want see in 70 cm deep mud.....😡😡.. I think so great mistake...
Respect
👍
benjamin you look like a young santa claus ... time to trim !
I’ll trim the beard again in a bit
@BenHardyCars 🤣🤣🤣
..and if i'd like minimal risk on mounts..depp mud...i use Raptor..or 👍🇺🇸may be defender...
Jeeps are definitely overpriced, Lexus/Toyota will always be worth it
