This lady is great at what she does because when you are talking to the public you want to talk in every day language but intelligently like she does actually I mean without slang just normal conversation and she does that I can understand her it’s not quilt talk it’s explaining what she is doing and I love her quilts she makes it so easy. But I have paused so I can come back to you and watch this video and here more about Moda’s new line of fabric and if you will be getting more LC in it sounds like the line of materials I go for. Such a great quilt design. I have a lot of layer cakes, just waiting for a cute fun easy design. I also love that your grandson feels comfortable being close by. My children were always under my feet when I sewed. Now my great grandchildren take their place.

Nice, easy, quick! My kind of quilt.❤ I started sewing as a teenager out of necessity. I like what I like and couldn’t find what I liked, so I made it. Fast forward about 45-50 years and a friend of mine got me into piecework. I think I made at least 6? quilts before ever hearing anything about squaring up my blocks, I do now of course but never had problems with quilts not being flat enough! Go figure…

I used to help my mom and granny's but it been a long time but so wanting an easy to do one first. Love the layer cake ideal. And yes that is beautiful patterns.
