I'm across the pond in Washington state. I loved the idea of using sheets for backing. I'm working on lap quilts for our seniors in my home town, and also working on laps for the poor families that need warmth from the floods. Loved your quilt.

Why don’t you back stitch when you start sewing…I’m afraid it will fall apart? The colors are just beautiful! Your hands are so pretty…love your rings too! Surprised that your grandson isn’t in your lap…as soon as I start I either have a cat or a grandson in my lap!!!!!

Nice, easy, quick! My kind of quilt.❤ I started sewing as a teenager out of necessity. I like what I like and couldn’t find what I liked, so I made it. Fast forward about 45-50 years and a friend of mine got me into piecework. I think I made at least 6? quilts before ever hearing anything about squaring up my blocks, I do now of course but never had problems with quilts not being flat enough! Go figure…

I really like this quilt top a lot ❤ it's so easy by cutting two pieces from a 10" square. It's the turning of the pieces that really make the design. And then add saching, I'm definitely going to make this quilt pattern. Thank You for the easy detailed, and sewing instructions along the way. I think this really adds to the video. other people who demonstrate video's have just said how to do it. But you actually Go beyond that by doing the demonstrating. I so appreciate that, I haven't made too many quilts yet. But if I continue watching your channel I'm sure I will learn a great deal, and be able to make so many more upcoming quilts.❤
