    Love what she said about shifting out of fear and into curiosity. That's a really powerful mindset.

    I acknowledge you too Brook! Thank you for being a pioneer in this space. AI has such incredible potential to democratize empathic reflections, therapeutic coaching and support, accelerate the transition to the circular economy, and spark entrepreneurship and creative problem solving instead of jobs and a school system that destroy our love of learning and sap our energy. We've got a lot to figure out, and AI safety matters, job displacement is an important concern, but the good is massive as well.

    This is awesome and good on her for going against the grain, not only deciding something could be done better but actually creating it too. Seriously impressive and inspiring.

    I love how she turned a negative task into something positive. That's the kind of thinking we need more of.

    Amazing story that goes against the grain of what we so often hear these days regarding AI. Thank you for sharing every part of your amazing story.

    The story about her first job made me think about my own work. Are we really valuing the right things?

    Build for good starts at the top, and the quality of the characters as leaders, and the morale code they will uphold

    Wow being able to identify how happy someone is based off the words they use in an email is pretty amazing

    May it serve the highest good indeed! I love the questions you raise - slightly paraphrased;
    How am I going to use AI to create as much goodness as I can?
    If we can work through the scary and negative parts of AI, and consider how much capacity we have to make a difference in the world; what would we do with AI?
    How much fun, kindness and goodness can we generate?
    How will we use it to create the greatest good?
    How can we ensure that this technology we are creating will help as many people as possible and serve the highest good?

    Yessss I completely agree! This is the kind of stuff we should be using AI for, and again being afraid of AI just makes no sense to me...

    It’s true-data can’t capture everything about a person. We need to rethink how we measure employee value beyond just numbers and if AI is a way of doing that then I'm all for it!

    interesting ideas, but im still skeptical. AI has a long way to go before I trust it with emotions.

    not sure it is possible as long as greed runs the companies building it

  • @TheRaidBrigade

    Teaching AI to care? It sounds like a noble goal, but how can we trust that AI will ever genuinely understand human emotions? This feels more like wishful thinking.
