Hey man! I have thick puffy slightly wavy hair, and I want to achieve a style where it looks like it's wet all day, in kind of a textured fringe style. What hair products from your site would work best? Thank you so much 🙏
Hello Alex, can i ask about the forte series control clay when will it be available? as i search from the forte website as well as other website, i noticed it been unavailable / out of stock for awhile, when will it be in stock again ?
I absolutely love products from Forte. Good on you for doing a breakdown, it helps us to find the right products for styles that we are looking to achieve. Cheers Alex!
I'm really glad you finally made this video, I've been styling my hair for some time, but I didn't know what each product should be used for. But this really cleared things up. Thanks Alex!
Make your products available in other countries too like India, shipping from U.S cost more than other products. I want to use it but its too expensive considering it ships from U.S.
Pomade on wet hair is a good look instead of wetting your palms, I see a lot of trendy middle part hairstyles done like that. I also like to use clay and powder together because I got thin straight hair not to much powder ofc. Also I cant live without hairspray to lock everything in. Great video btw. !!!
I really like about the littlllextra neatfix hair finishing stick is how easy it is to use. It doesn’t make your hair feeling crunchy or hard at all. It dries light and doesn’t make your hair flat or stuck to your head. Even if you apply a bit too much, when you brush your hair after the gel has dried, it doesn’t get flaky! Other gels might hold for that day, but you often need to wash your hair the next day because the gel becomes flaky or your head gets oily and flat from the product. But THIS stick isn’t like that! I can’t imagine going without this as my last finishing touch, whether my hair is in an updo or down, to control my flyaways and frizz! I also used it on my mom, and she loved it too. She experiences less volume in her hair due to thinning as she entered her 70s, and this product helps everything in place without flattening or reducing volume!
All these products are great but the hair oil is my favorite Forte product 💯💯 It’s works great and smells AMAZING. Ever since I started using it my hair consistently has a silky smooth feel and shine.✨
Been using the products for years. My only complaint is the texture clay used to be 100ml (back when the jars were clear), now after the re fresh to the black jars, it’s now just 75ml!
My hair is real thick so my go to lately has been the argan oil after the shower, and then 2-3 spritz of the sea salt spray, and then just blow drying it into place. Never fails to get the texture, volume, and a natural look. Very minimal, but solid enough for the heat of summer.
I swear to God, I was looking for a comment like this! I got my mom's hair genes and it's mad thick!!! I can't figure out which product to go for. I'll try your routine out! I've been growing it out for months now.
Quick tip for clay users: put a medium clump of it in a spoon or piece of foils and run a lighter underneath it for a moment to warm it up. It helps to run it back and forth under the clump for quicker results
Which product would be good for straight/almost wavy long hairs?? I have started to grow my hairs out and don’t really want them to just stay at one place
If u. Have pomade this is the best way to use it after shower dry ur hair to but leave it a tiny bit wet then apply the pomade finger amount and mix it in
What do I use for a textured fringe? I’ve been looking around and getting tons of different answers. I have straight hair that has some texture but mostly lies flat.
Hi Alex! I use surf paste to style it every day, but I think it's making my hair even wavier (I believe it has some salt spray in it). Should I switch to the paste that you use to achieve a straighter hairstyle?
Alex, i have curly hair that's prone to frizziness. I don't currently use any product and I shower/wash my hair at night since I have early mornings. What would you recommend for hair care?
Hey Alex, my membership request for mens image lab recently got declined and i do not understand why, as i have been following this channel since many years and it has helped me grow into a better person...
you should make a light weight smoothing/hydrating prestyler cream. I like to use hair oils alot and I realized its perfect for that super nicely blowdried look and especially with a clay its perfect. But I realized too using a nice light weight minimal hold designed hair cream is perfect for casual days and I dont need as much heat on blow drier as well. I like to lock that look in with either a medium hold cream or even a clay too but the look is so nice. Consider making one!
My son messes with his hair throughout the day. We just did a cut from shoulder length to like a taper fade combover with the top being like 3-4 inches. And they put a product in it that held really well, but it felt really sticky and tacky when he tried to run his fingers through it which he HATED. What should he use?
forte series spray I ordered it a few days ago and it arrived very quickly.. really my hair looks thicker and thicker.. I have hair but not as thick as before but now I definitely recommend the products of Aleh Costa.. I will buy only now its products which offers..
Hi alex I have not thick not thin maybe my hairs are medium and they just messed with small disturbance plz can u tell me what to do to make them to stick to a place btw i am from india if you know any product it will be helpful And yeah i also have baby hairs on hairsline thats not growing what to do
I have a haircut that's similar to a "wolf cut" but I quiff my hair up, my hair is much thinner on top though, it's better than it used to be as I've been treating (tablets/minox) it for a year+. What would you recommend? I was think water pomade, cream, salt spray? Edit (I'm 28) but much younger looking still
I moved from NYC to San Diego where the water is just horrendous. My natural thick hair went from manageable to a frizzy dry thinner mess. Bought a water filter (meh) but what product do you recommend? Thanks for your video!
Man, my hair is too silky to style. Everytime I style my hair, it just becomes flat! I used texture clay for hold but humidity has a beef w/ my hair! I've been wondering how can I give some texture to my hair? Should I use sea salt spray or texture powder?
Hello Alex, can i ask about the forte series control clay when will it be available? as i search from the forte website as well as other website, i noticed it been unavailable / out of stock for awhile, when will it be in stock again ?
hi Alex can i get curls in my hair naturally , i have a straight thin hair and i am very much frustated from them you showed a picture of yours with curls and you look awesome in that , i too want those curls please halp out.
Been 5 years since I started watching you. You changed my life. But I feel something is off now. Like you're burnt out or something. Not the same energy that you used to radiate when you were in LA. Do you really like New York?
Hey @alex, I’ve been using the texture clay for my short hair for quite some time now and totally loving it. Now I’m planning to grow my hair and it’s pretty long. Which one would be good for long hairs as I struggle to style with the clay.
Not exactly. The sea salt spray is most likely for people with oily hair (their hair tends to have so much moisture that it weights down). If you already have a natural dry hair type, what you need is just a hydrating or moisturizing pre-styling product like the pre-styling cream in the clip. I have normal hair type (not dry not oily), and I notice if I use just a bit of the sea salt spray, my hair will have more volume with acceptable gritty and dryness. So, it depends on how much you apply to your hair too. But like I said, if your hair is already dry, use styling cream or grooming tonic, then you blow dry and style your hair with either clay, paste, or styling powder to balance the moisture and hydration of the styling cream (or grooming tonic).
New to your channel. You take for granted that ALL viewers know what you are talking about. Explain/define 2 seconds what you are explaining "quiff" etc.
It really depends on the product, some expensive stuff is straight up crap and some of the cheap stuff also works great. Just gotta try some different stuff and find what works and don't. Atleast that is my experience.

How do you get products out of your hair without washing
Hello any options for thick straight hair
Hey @alex,
I’ve been using the texture clay for my short hair for quite some time now and totally loving it.
Now I’m planning to grow my hair and it’s pretty long. Which one would be good for long hairs as I struggle to style with the clay.
Hi the texture powder you use, how long does it last? Let’s say I put in the morning.
Does paste easy to wash without using shampoo? I dont use shampoo too frequent
That depends if it's water based (easy to wash out) or oil based (harder to wash out)
I keep reading that sea salt sprays can dry out and damage hair.. what’s your take on that
Not exactly. The sea salt spray is most likely for people with oily hair (their hair tends to have so much moisture that it weights down). If you already have a natural dry hair type, what you need is just a hydrating or moisturizing pre-styling product like the pre-styling cream in the clip.
