So many TH-camrs these days talking about hair and products (hell you even have Bluuman trying to make a comeback). However when it comes to hair and knowledge absolutely no one one gets close to Robin, you sir are in my opinion the absolute best TH-cam has to offer! Cheers from Florida 🍻😁

I loved Blumaan when he first started but now he's too biased since he released his own products. He stopped a lot of the reviews for cheaper brands and ignores the most popular brands. Even when he reviews things he always mentions that he likes his brand better which doesn't feel authentic.

I tend to use a paste most of the time because I have long hair. Gives it a bit of structure without making it heavy. My hair is rather thick and coarse, and the paste also helps with taming any frizz I might be having.
Also combo that with some coconut oil after washing for a bit of natural shine and protection from the elements, perfection.

I usually use Hanz De Fuko claymation but I fancy a change, my hair is approaching a similar length to Robin's in this video at the moment (not quite as long yet). Anyone have any suggestions?

I went to a barber I hadn’t been to before and she put a powder in my hair. I’ve been growing it out and embracing the curls and waves, and I loved the matte look and hold of the powder.
The problem was trying to wash the darn stuff out that night. Three shampoos later and my hair still felt slightly sticky. I think I’ll stick to my water based pomades and spray clay thanks 😅

    • @willeb6412
      @willeb6412 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi! I’ve been using powders for my hair for a while and I had the same problem at the start. The rule of thumb I’ve found with powder is less is more. Depending on which brand you use, if it has a strong hold once you work it in try to just sprinkle a small amount and use a brush to form it and then maybe use a little hairspray. Your hair may be different and your brand may be as well so this is just a suggestion!

I definitely have had the best experiences using pastes, with pomades coming in second for me. It's just so hard finding good pastes and pomades that don't contain either beeswax or lanolin, because both of them are really fricken nasty stuff but they're so common. I've been using Layrite's natural matte paste the most lately though, and it's really good.

It’s just another marketing name for a type of water based pomade. The “cream” part usually refers to its consistency.

    Hey Robin.. Question:
If you were to comb your hair (with a wide tooth comb), how many hairs would you lose do you think? I just combed my similar length hair as yours, and i pulled out maybe 30+ hairs from the comb. Think thats normal? Male/26yo

Im using both 4. My opinion is to use clay, only matte, and only when you will use hairdryer. So if its summer its a big no. Pomade, only shiny, they give amazing shiny look but hard to control. Paste, only matte, awsome control, powderbonly for curly low length hair

He didn't really go into the use and style that clay is suited for, instead concentrating on the health benefits like it's a before bed serum. 😂😂

Another awesome video Robin! Your hair looks really good in this one, I love the little wisp/strand that keeps falling in front of your face, trying to do something similar with my hair. Mind if I ask what products you have in in this video? Thank you!

Bro.. every time I get my haircut when he’s done he styles my hair and it honestly looks 10/10. The next morning when after my shower I blow dry my hair and take every step he does while styling my hair and I swear at best I can get to look maybe 70 percent as well as when he does it. I have very thick hair but can’t produce the volume he does.. so im ordering that first pomade product you shared right now fingers crossed this works, very good video thank you!

    Hi everyone.
I have shoulder length hair, I would say it’s thick but it looks like it because I have a lot of hair. I haven’t used any product for years now but I do remember my hair is kind of untameable…
I’m going to a wedding soon am wanted to try slicking my hair back, like a tight slick/biker slick.
    Which products do you recommend?
