This video is a gem! So much useful information. I normally avoid promoting things, but I have to share the subliminal affirmations for acne on Borlest with you. They can truly heal your skin. All the best to everyone.
Sleep stress level and diet are the biggest factors; that i noticed severe changes. I still have little pimples but thats where the products come in handy and are necessary even if you have normal skin or no skin concerns
I am so grateful I had the opportunity to get the massive Isotretinoin (Accutane) treatment. It was hard, but very well worth it. Now I have a pimple once every few months and my pores are empty!
yes, the best choice i did in life, my family had acne all the way, i knew it was genetic, it´s been 8 months since i finished the treatment, the few pimples i had were gone in the same day they appearred, and they were never that bad again
I regret not getting on accutane sooner and worrying about side effects. a lot of acne is genetic. people touch their face stress like crazy eat like shit have perfect skin. dont blame yourself, but definitely play the hand youre dealt
I swear by rice berry face wash. Other face washes didn't do the trick like rice berry does for my acne. My face feels hydrated and looks radiant after each wash. I also use rice berry vitamin C face serum in the morning, which is pH balanced.
Great advice 💪I'd definitely recommend reading the book Health and Beauty Mastery, I literally transformed my looks after learning the science behind it.
Before I met you I have a very bad skin. However after I met you, my life has changed. My skin feels really good now. I did reasearch on my face, I found that my skin type is oily, sensitive and acne-prone. Which means I have to avoid products that contains fragrance in there ingredients. All I'm saying is thank you Sir Alex for giving me the knowledge to decide how to become a better man.
@@miller6448Hello, it's been 2 weeks but if you see this, it still applies :) Retinol can be irritating for most people, so you should start slow taking a break of one or two days between application. Some people need even more time to let their skin adjust, so it might be your case. If you find it irritating still after a couple weeks and you want to stop using it, there's also a non-irritating (though less effective) plant-derived alternative: bakuchiol. And if you don't even like bakuchiol, that's okay too! After all, the most important part is cleansing, moisturizing and wearing sunscreen everyday. Hope this helped!
I have very sensitive skin, I found that not washing my face has helped get rid of acne. Skin irritation causes acne too…. So be careful if you are washing your face a lot.
Pricey skin care products indeed….Most of the time i mix around using Cosrx Snail, Ordinary Barrier support, timeless vit c, Paula choice retinol , Inkey List collagen peptide , Neutrogena hydro boost, tretinoin cream , Lab Series moisturiser and eye cream
@@user-lt1jd1ye3v Don’t know about the glass skin but for my general skincare my favs are Tretinoin really helps get rid of face /body acne & reducing my sebaceous hyperplasia spots , Hydro boost water gel moisturiser as my skin is towards the oily side, cosrx Snail is a good all purpose gel to keep skin moisturised & ordinary barrier support to calm the skin if its sensitive and reduce redness
The thing with the sunlight Some say to get sunlight to improve circadian rhythm, vitamin d while others say to wear suncreen to prevent sun damage. Now there are some other people who say to get sunlight applying sunscreen. But the prob here is sunscreen prevents uvb rays which is responsible for vitamin D production in body In a total dilemma here
you don't really need the sun for vitamin d. all you need is a light source to activate the vitamin d that's produced in the body. the sun is much more effective at providing this light source but since we want to minimize the amount of sunlight we are exposed to, we can just spend longer indoors with artificial lights.
Vitamin D is important. You can get it even on cloudy days. And you don’t need to be in the sun for so long to get enough vitamin D - I heard 15 minutes was enough. After getting that vitamin D, you can apply sunscreen. Now, if it is really sunny with high UV index like 5 or 6+, you can still spend a short while in the sun, but try to use sunscreen as soon as possible. Obviously double check what I’ve said here, but in essence, take the middle path and practice moderation.
In my opinion, face and neck takes the highest priority when it comes to sunscreen. You can also get sunlight by applying sunscreen to those parts while leaving the rest of your body without it.
Hir sir iam fan from india i have been following for past 7 years tried every skin care routine you have mentioned you are my marvelous fasion influencer great work sir
your videos had a huge impact in my life and routine, but I gotta admit i miss the old video format....it felt more casual and like I was talking to a friend 😢😢😢
I regret not listening to my friend years ago in 2020. I was 25 and she was in her early 30s. She told me to start taking care of my skin every time I saw her. One day, she even put this coconut lotion on my face and lectured me about skin care. I saw her bag and a shelf filled with all these skin care products. I found it so intimidating. I kid you not tho, she looks amazing for her age. She looks younger than most people my age lol Now, I'm in my last year of my 20s and I'm trying to just be healthier in every aspect I can. Mentally, physically and appearance so I'm giving skincare a try
I used accutane for acne scars and under the skin acne. I was so afraid at first because i heard so many bad things about it. But there were no products that could help. My dermatologist gave it to me for a year, and she was clear that it wasn't for life. She also took blood tests every 3 months to check my liver. If you have a good doctor it shouldn't be a problem. But yes, my skin, lips, and inside my nose was so freakin dry. But it goes away after a while. Besides that, there were no other side effects. It was so worth it. But make sure you have a good doctor who is following you regularly. Oh, and NO multivitamin with vitamin A in it. Accutane is pure vitamin A so you don't want to overdose.
I think Accutane itself causes the scarring, with the idea that it removes the overall acne and future acne. Just replaces one issue with another. At least for me. Made my skin better but a disappoint for me overall, based on expectations.
I took accutane and my depression was cured every time I looked in the mirror and noticed no new acne. It is drying and I did feel a kind of stress in my body when I took it but I am SO GLAD I did and wish I knew it sooner to have prevented the scars
Begging y’all to consult your own dermatologist or look for dermatologists sharing information from their practice on TH-cam. Don’t need a manfluencer to clue you into taking care of yourself ❤️ Take that step on your own
