I was there in 92. Very quite place and only rooms were bamboo huts on the beach with generators. Wonderful time, wonderful people.

Thanks for the video bro, My fiancee and I will be on the Gili's in a couple of months after our wedding, we're doing a small 1 month backpacking trip in the area after our wedding. We decided to just stay on Air and do day trips to the other 2.

So I guess I know where my next trip is going to be ha ha (Bali and the Gili Islands) but I think I would have headed West to backpack through Java then head East to Lombok but maybe your next vlog can change my mind ha ha. hey awesome video man, quick question to ask: Did u get to gilli islands from Lombok or from Bali? Im going there in September Im trying to figure out how to get to gilli islands and nusa penida as well, not sure what the best itinerary would be to make it more practical to visit gilli , lombok and nusa penida without wasting time on commuting in terms of transportation. I just had a question I'm hoping you could respond to, I'm traveling to Bali in August and wish to go to Gili Air for just the day, where can I leave my bags/wallet when I'm snorkeling or swimming? I just know that I don't want anything stolen as ill need to get back and don't want to be left stranded there if my wallet gets stolen, sorry if its a dumb question, just want to be safe
