- This week we visited the Gili Islands of Indonesia! This is our honest opinion of our experience in Gili Trawangan and Gili Air. Some of the activities we did were snorkeling and horseback riding. We also visited the underwater statues of Gili Meno!
The Gili Islands are eco friendly islands, so no motorbikes or cars, the only way around the islands is by foot, bicycle or horse carriage! We actually enjoyed this aspect of the islands very much! This is definitely the place to come and relax.

We are going there next month and I had a question going on in my mind, I don’t have a underwater camera, does they provide any service with any guide with personal cameras to take all the underwater pictures?
Yes of course they have everything is you need it. But you’ll be surprised. Most of our under water shot were shot on iPhone 13pro all iPhone 12-13 are pretty good under water up to 5 meter deep

the heat is no joke in gili's, very recommended to bring sunscreen everytime you go outdoor especially for Mateo, he's very cute and so active love to see it🤩🤩

I really don’t remember the ferry name because it was almost a year ago but definitely go to our hotel there we had great experience and the manager over there helped us with getting the tickets to the ferry and all of that and we visited two island and stayed with the same chain so we got a better deal 😉 +62 812 72330806 that’s her phone number

Pls tell me which Gili island has the best beaches? Im thinking of white sand, widenes and the least coral on the beach itself (I know all of them has some coral and they are not very wide).

I would personally say gili air would have more untouched beaches. But… in gili trawagan we had one amazing beach right by our hotel Royal singosari with white sand and amazing food but some corals.

Hou much you paid to get from Padang Bai to Gili Air?
Hmmm I actually don’t remember how much it is because we were invited by board of tourism to go there and record and they covered it. But again nothing is expensive here. It won’t be more than 10-20$ everything is fairly inexpensive here.

On Gili Trawangan, there is a tunnel from the Dutch colonial war
