what happens if a port is bad? what is the fix for that? thank you.
You can try cleaning out the port with a can of compressed air (make sure the battery is unplugged and the power cord is disconnected) sometimes that will fix it. If that works and the port is bad then you would have to replace the motherboard to fix it.
Re-seating my Ram stick fixed this issue in my case.

Hello my name is kiara your video helped me figure out how to fix this problem i had this since june and its either because the battery is about to run out or it could be because the computer is old. i need advice we just bought a battery and charger but the computer 7370 keeps doing the same thing this is annoying btw what should i do to resolve this?
Did you buy a Dell battery and charge or a generic one? Because Dell doesn't always work well with generic batteries and chargers. What are the symptoms?

Thanks for that! it was a bad RAM slot. swapped to the other one and all good. I have a single stick of 16gb so didn'y lose anything really. Just need to hope this port doesn't go as well!
Nice job troubleshooting! You never know with RAM slots. Sometimes one just goes bad and the other one is fine for the rest of the time you have the computer.
ive spilt water on my laptopp and it worked for a little while and then started giving me this error. do you think its just the ram or could iit be any other component causing this? PLEASE HEPLP
