- In this video we spend a few nights in Angeles City Philippines. While there, we head to Korea town for dinner just before heading to Walking Street for a look around. After seeing walking, we decided that we will not video that area and exploit the woman, as it is not who we are or what our channel is about. No comparison between Philippines and Thailand hotels, its night and day . Same hotel room in Thailand will be a good 30-50% less. Great video Joe and Gift!

I'm with you, Joe...There are Walking Streets all over the globe, it gets old...
When I was 18 it was fun, at 30 no time for such things, and now at 67 I just want to see the natural scenery and beauty out there...
I will have a shot of tequila once in a while though along with a cold beer!
For instance, while watching the playoffs tonight (first game starts at midnight!)...
Enjoy your PH trip, sounds like just about over...
There's a lot of really nice places to check out in other areas of The Philippines...
Palawan, Dauin, Boracay, Iloilo, Cebu, etc. Soooo many nice places, like Thailand offers...

Hello there!
I've never been, but I get the impression that Angeles City is a bit sleazy? Pattaya has a similar reputation but I find that a bit unfair as there are many great restaurants, shopping malls, cinemas, etc and you can live there quite happily without ever having to see any of the dark side.
We enjoyed looking around AC, didn’t find it to be sleazy. Walking Street is just a very small part of AC and the Philippines as a whole.

Walking street is just to hard to get around on. I wish they would install one of those moving sidewalks so I wouldn't have to move my legs around so much. Ha ha
That's amazing that you went to Tequilla Reef restaurant , I met with the surviving son of the restaurants, unfortunately the Pattaya one closed it's doors.
We really enjoyed the breakfast there.

I have spent some time in Angeles City and it is not a place for me. I did go to one of the bars just past walking street called Phillies. The food was really good and the staff very friendly. You can sit in the front and people watch if you like to do that kind of thing. It can be very entertaining. I have been to many places in the Philippines and settled in Dumaguete. It is not too big or too small and has what I need here. I am not a fan of the big cities. I live close to the beaches and mountains so get to see a lot of nature.

Lately vloggers got into trouble when they have filmed walking street in Angeles!
We see no need to video walking street, not what our channel is about.
I have been to Thailand about 10 times since 2017 Never been Philippines this vlog may change my mind

AC is for single man Joe. You usually don’t bring your gf to a red light zone, but it can be fun too sometimes
A few bring their wives and gfs to Walking Street; not the place for me as I don’t drink, bar hop or chase hookers. You can find rooms that average $32 per night or less. Lea Robert’s rooms on Don Juico Ave. are small but new and clean. A few steps away is: Drake’s Bar & Chill, they have a decent price and they give you 200 pesos to use to offset one meal a day. (Excellent food I might add). There are other nice places and some real dumps to; so bad they should be forced to shutdown if there was a Health Department to report them to.

Joe, I like your channel. Been subscribed for years. This is my home so gotta defend it bro😊 AC is just a very small part of Pampanga. Can't judge this area on Walking Street. We have fantastic VFW that do great things for Veterans. Medical care is easily accessible, n use Tricare. The area really treats Americans/Expats very well. Everyone bashes AC, these people work hard, do what they do to survive. You don't like it, don't come or leave. Thanks
Forgot, the VFW has a restaurant called Lamp Post (excellent variety of food). If you like high end hotel stays, Sure Stay (a few steps from the VFW) is really nice and still less than you paid. VFW’s address is: Clarkview, 381 Santol, Angeles 2009 Pampanga.
I agree ☝️ we were just pointing out what we have experienced so far. Our trip has been amazing and the people so friendly, we have also travelled to other locations and we are thoroughly loving our trip to the Philippines.

Walking Street in Angeles City is no more no less than other Walking Street in Thailand ;-) .. some .business kind as usual, where no youtuber can film inside the houses of the rising sun.
We don’t see any reason to film and exploit the women on walking street.

sadly you got bad information. your guidw picked 3 of the most expensive hotels to stay in.
there literally dozens of nice hotels for half the price.tequila reef has very good food but cheaper places you walked past. many live music venues in town . take a bus to subic 1 hour ride
never been to angeles,, not my kind of city
