Ms. Gift got her Europe visa .. that's what's up bruh, and we're happy for her ! Good you touched on "credit card/ bank deposit " requirements. Didn't know that ! Good looking out for us, Joe 👌 . Anyway, Ta will be in Thailand from April to October, spending time with her family and crew. As for me, I'll stay behind this spring and summer to finish some renovations on the house and help out other friends with their house/ garden projects cause that's what I do to save them $$$ . I learned basic skills in home/ garden renovations from my dad since I was 12 years old. " Jack of all trades master of none," as they say 😂! I'll be in Thailand in October for six weeks so if you guys are around then we'll hook up( at your leisure of course). Again as usual, you school us on the essentials living in Thailand, and for that, I thank you, Sir ! 🙏🙏

She also gets several discounts on purchases and receives points towards ticket purchases. Also, having a credit improves her credit score rating. She also receives interest on the money in the account itself. Other benefits are fraud coverage, discounts on travel and other insurances etc. Gift also said that the credit card is mainly for people that are unemployed but still want to receive the incentives that comes with having a CC.

However, when we move permanently to Cha Am, I'll pay off her high interest rate cards and have her start korsikorn and Bangkok bank ccd's there cause she already has accounts with them. @@thaigirlgiftforeignerjoe7774 last time I was there I got short changed. They display a rate but that is only applicable with big amount, smaller amount was less 30%. Better you pay with debit card or get the Krona in a regular bank. Prag is a tourist rip off town just like Barcelona, Milan, Venice and Paris. Lots of punters to deceive you!!

Gift does gain interest on the money. I’m not sure what percent but will try to find out.

Thanks for sharing Joe and Gift. I guess it must be a "Biker" thing but personally I couldn't see what all the excitement was over a red stripe on a black bike. However, we are all different. Happy that you are getting everything sorted out for your Europe adventure of a lifetime. Really exciting. After not having had a break from Khon Kaen for nearly 7 years we have managed to save enough money to stay for 3 nights in Sam Roi Yod, near Hua Hin. Despite the long drive, I am sure that it will be worth it. As regards the Thai credit card system, basically it is exactly the same as a Debit Card, other than you can pay it off monthly. If you don't have money in your account you cannot use it. God bless you both 😀❤🙏

These days of course, Credit Scores and ratings are all important and can affect day to day life. I don't know if I have one or not, but have never used a credit card. I have everything booked for our trip to Germany. Let us hope that they aren't striking in Germany during our trips. We loved Prague, our hotel was well located, had a great breakfast (probably a 15-20 dollar value per person) and was reasonably priced, everything considered. I would stay there again. Hotel Meteor Plaza

there is no credit card debt in other countries you can only use money available in your account. People call debit card/atm card visa card or Mastercard and call it credit card.
Really! We are well aware of the difference between debit and credit cards. Credit cards do offer some perks that debit cards don’t, hence the reason why Gift wants a credit card in addition to her two debit cards she already has. i dont understand if u want a credit card for 200 000 bath u need 200 000 bath in the bank why u need a credit card then use your own money in the bank and pay back to yourself after instead paying to the bank, just saying im not trying to be a smart ass.
Often to rent car and pay hotel and buy airlines tickets in Europe you need a credit card. It is a good idea for traveling today.

Yes, travel is simply much easier with a credit card. They are a great convenience IF you can control the use of one. If not they are a disaster waiting to happen.
I tried one Bangkok Bank branch about a secured credit card using my money on deposit for visa. Got shot down but not sure lady understood. I'll just call BB customer service and find someone who speaks English.
They Are Using Their Money To Fund Their Credit Card. Paying The Bank Interest On Your Own Money. No Need For Any Credit Card
She does not have income no fixed deposit titles deeds in her name no bank will give u money when they do not known how to pay back is the house she and you staying belong to her no problem
It’s called a secure deposit because she does have money in the bank to cover the amount of credit being requested. House is in my name and land in hers. Have a nice day!
