This review is MISLEADING regarding the petrol engine.
It is deceptive for the manufacturer to offer two petrol engines, with the majority of people purchasing one, but reviewers focusing on the engine available only in luxury models. The direct injection engine is not available in any of the affordable variants. Therefore, the review should cover the regular petrol engine.

I don’t know why people would not like the front end? It looks extremely dynamic! Rear end too is superb. The only reason that could hold it back could be limited boot space! Otherwise it has good looks, classy interiors, great engines, perfect ride and handling package, big space inside cabin, impressive list of features. What more could one ask for? And it’s well priced too!

For people criticizing the XUV 3XO, please note that the car has mostly leather finishes and less plasticky interior compared to other rivals. The Level 2 ADAS is a really good addition as it helps provide additional safety features that are crucial to preventing unnecessary accidents. The design may not be appealing to most, but this design certainly beats the likes of Hycross. The price is proper for all the features offered. The sunroof is not for the summer. Also, the limited boot space is fine if you are mostly going to use the car in the city.

Looks pretty sick. The size makes it look small but chunky, which is cool. I would change the front grill to a matte one like the Endeavour, and put chunkier rubber to make it look like a modern “suv” in some sense. They should do a version of it like that.

@@saikirang210 😂😂u seem to be very stereotypical, mahindra cars are the most reliable Indian products, my whole family have driven different Mahindra for generations, currently scorpio n. When demand and production is high one or two products happen to be defect and aside from that most of the burning cases are related to buying lower variants and installing extra features. Mahindra vehicle run on strong ECU. Mapping, therefore addition of third party results in fire and short circuit. And what do u mean avaerage for the variant, it offers better infotainment and Ada’s level 2 which offered in 20 lakhs plus vehicles . Secondly u again referred to design which is subjective !!!!! If u understand what that means, and mahindra engine and tata engine side by side, tata is not even close to the refinement and power mahindra offers.

@@saikirang210 The constant need for the modern day Indians to crave looks over everything else with a car is abysmal. Same with craving an absolutely useless sunroof. You're buying a car where 95% of it is purely for the functionality and convenience it offers. Buying a car with looks being the main priority is just dumb.
Apart from all that, they're offering ADAS level 2, and reliability that no other brand in that price segment even remotely offers. That alone would be more than enough for the people who want an absolutely value for money oriented car,

Very bad pricing by Mahindra, instead of 8 lacs it should start at 6lacs, then it would compete easily with other rivals like Exter , Punch etc. I can tell you that hyundai Exter ride quality is better than any car under 10 lacs budget. It's so smooth you wont even know the engine is on most of the times. It's more than sufficient for city rides and even highway rides were fine for me. Mileage is around 12-14 with AC on for me since I find it very difficult to stay without AC. In fact Ac is so good that you'll never have to use it on full blast, Max to max 3 fan for 4-5 mins then 1/2 fan for the rest of the journey.
Only issue I would say, not even issue, since Hyundai have a counter-measure for it was a little slow pickup on highways when you want to overtake instantly, but it is solved with Paddle Shifters for manually changing gears without any clutch. Rear AC vents, rear charging port, front 1 charging ports, 2 usb port, sunroof in almost all models, wireless charging, built-in dashcam with interior and exterior recording , free 64gb memory card from Hyundai as well. Connect features on app so you're always aware of your vehicle. Exter is even giving 8 years of software updates for the car software. I don't understand why would any sane human being want to go for XUV 3xO when for 10lacs price XUV has no features. Same AMT model like exter for XuV 3x0 is 15+lacs. You can get a creta in that price which already has more features than XUV 3xO top model. So overall I can say that Exter SX-O-Connect is easily the top choice under 10 lacs for a micro-SUV in a City like Hyderabad

Just saw it yesterday and took a test drive too.
The diesel engine is powerful and the gear shift in manual are very smooth. However the AMT in diesel is not upto the marke. The biggest let down in the car is the booth space and leg space in the rear seat.
I wouldnt like to give an extra 3 lakhs for this car compared to the old one, especially for a panoramic sunroof and ADAS feature.
