Naaaahhhh. You folk are evil for dropping first episodes during our regular nine to five week. 🤣
We're singing, evil, evil rock you!
ALT
Aren't your happy the week the go by quicker as you wait for the weekend to catch up to this?
That still doesn’t stop me from watching.
P.S.: My manager is late ;)
@@motorinc rs457 view this weekend? 👀
Nah, wfh. I'd still watch it.
My thoughts exactly 😂
I saw a couple of these in the flesh near a Mahindra showroom. Won’t lie, the 3XO actually looks quite good in real life.
Thanks for letting us know!
That’s always been the case with Mahindra won’t look that impressive in pics and videos but upfront they have a very good presence and look nice
Same opinion especially the rear looks gorgeous
Shumi’s final summary after one hour of discussion feels like that like ChatGPT based AI Summarizer highlighting all key points in a single breathe 😂
😄
When I bought my Ford Ecosport, I also went to the Mahindra showroom, which is within walking distance from my home, to look at the Bolero Neo and the XUV 300. I went there twice, but they didn't have either car available for a test drive, and they didn't seem interested in making a sale. In my experience, Mahindra and Tata have the worst showroom experiences.
Thanks for your feedback Akhilesh! Which city though?
@@motorinc Dehradun
Same at Bangalore - Whitefield. Didn't give a damn.
same story in Noida. Couple of years back when I went to check out the 300. One feels unwanted in M&M showrooms. Huge difference from other cos like Toyota, Honda MG or even Maruti and Tata. Been thinking of buying 700x5 or the top end automatic versions of elevate/ Creta/ Seltos/Hyrider etc.
Ohh I had a similar experience. I too bought the Ecosport. I remember they gave me a Thar to test which wasn't a test vehicle and it got stuck in 3rd gear. The showroom guys told me that they will repair it and give it to me 😮
Mahindra service is at par with Tata service in terms of poor service and bad attitude.
One thing I love about u all is no matter car or bike both of them sit to discuss the different perspectives are really nice to hear
Glad to hear that H!
Hey guys. I had a chance to test drive the base turbo petrol with the TC automatic gearbox in Bangalore at Sireesh Auto. A friend of mine made an early booking for the car and I drove the car a couple of times around the showroom. My impressions are as follows:
1. The engine is refined, cabin noise is minimal.
2. The steering is light and easy to manoeuvre in the city. The max speed I could reach was 60 Km/h, so I don't have an opinion about the steering at high speeds.
3. The TC is quite smooth, but the gearshifts are slow if you are used to faster shifting gearboxes. But that being said, it does a good job for the type of car the 3XO is. It does not have a very aggressive 'creep' from standstill (unlike the VW 1.0 TSI cars with the TC gearbox).
I came away very impressed after the test drive. I drove the AX5 variant for reference.
Hey Vineet! Excellent. Just what we were hoping for. So the base engine is the one to try out. Thank you so much.
@@motorinc Yes. I wish Mahindra considers providing the base turbo petrol with the top (AX5L, AX7 and AX7L) models as well. But then we'd come very close to the ridiculous number of variants that Tata offers with the Nexon 😉!
Hahaha! Not as bad. But, close.
Prev gen TGDi Owner here. 130hp + 6 speed manual is a gem. I'm guessing M&M gave TGDi with TC only to journalists to promote the new engine + gearbox combo. A little more feedback in the steering would make me forget the already mostly out of mind ancient interiors, but the new 3xo takes care of that (interiors and hopefully the steering) I guess. The "shunt" when the turbo kicks in is real. Real hard to get started from a standstill in second. 1st gear too jerky for stop and go traffic. Prev gen didn't have ADAS and the parking sensors aren't that touchy so hopefully M&M fixes it in the final production run. Haven't tested the new one but 10/10 recommend TGDi + 6-speed manual from current experience and what I see of the new car. Everything has flaws, be cognizant of what you can live with 😉
Service: Even a metro like Chennai has only 2-3 service centers and I have to make two trips to the other side of the city to drop it off and collect it back. Good quality service but quantity is missing. And because of this their personnel are often too busy for a home pickup-drop no matter how much you're willing to pay for it
As an owner of the previous version (2021 Diesel base model) I am extremely happy that Mahindra decided to finally give a facelift that is worth considering for many others as well. I've been driving the car for almost 3 years now and I can confidently say that it is one of the best highway cars out there and the amazing combination of great fuel efficiency (around 21 kmpl) while cruising at 95-105 kmph is too damn good to ignore. The suspension I feel is one of the best in the segment and just like you guys said, the seats are very comfortable and you won't feel tired even after a full day of driving.
The boot space was never a problem for me as we usually travel light but we did go to Goa for a 5-day trip with 5 on board and their luggage, and we did not feel like we were lacking space. Of course, we had to plan the positioning of the baggages which some might feel is a pain but considering that 3 of them at the back seat were able to sit comfortably for the entire 1600kms over 4 days I would say it is worth it.
Overall a great car but not for someone who carries a lot of baggage 😉
The average is with tgdi or non tgdi engine?
Thanks for the feedback Gautam!
@@ayushbagouli4703 there's only one spec with the diesel. only the petrol has a base turbo and a tgdi turbo

X number of inconsistencies brother 😅😅
@@kshitijpandey6514 ummm have u ever watched ummm grand tour or top gear .... Cuz this was refrence to that 😭
I just instantly smiled with the Top gear reference❤
all manufacturers should have a quick session with the "sarcastic shumi", and come with the names for their cars and bikes. It would be fun, hahaha!
And deprive Shumi of his, and eventually our, entertainment?
@@motorinc no no, i am sure shumi will come with more words starting with X. this episode was a great vocabulary test for me as well. just imagine mahindra having a range of products named " X factor" " Xorbitant" ... and so on. hahahah
From my family experiences with Mahindra have not been that great, my elder brother got the XUV 700 automatic, has had his front suspension, gearbox, clutch all replaced in first 4 months, yes all under warranty, but that is just bad engineering. Sold it and got a black harrier, 15000 km so far not many issues at all. My brother in law, got the XUV 300, clutch burnt out, gearbox changed twice, under warranty, in first 3 months. Man the QC at Mahindra is horrible. Not gonna recommend any Mahindra to anyone because even after paying more at delivery than booking price, waiting months on end, is this what Mahindra gives it's customers, they just suck plainly. I have the 2022 Safari, other than a vibration issue which has been fixed, the vehicle just glides through everything. Love it so much.
From what I've seen on team bhp both tata Mahindra are very risky options, Mahindra being the better option though. Tata is sometimes a nightmare to own. Also shows the need for Indian manufacturers to improve QC and service to the level of the Japanese and the Koreans
Thanks for sharing your experience @hellrzr45.
It's really bad that something like that had to happen for not one but two Mahindra products and I can understand your frustration buddy but I would like to only say that not everyone would have had the same experience as yours. I'm only giving my example as in our family we had 2 Mahindra Commander Jeep(not at the same time), then a 2008 Scorpio, and now own a 2021 XUV300 diesel. Yes we did face a few issues with the vehicles but nothing that couldn't be fixed by the Mahindra service centre. We really had and are having a great time with Mahindra products and I would definitely recommend Mahindra to everyone but also state the fact that no vehicle is perfect.
We had a VW Polo as well which gave us hell and ended up selling it as soon as possible but doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend any VW car to anyone. As I said, I understand your frustration but not everyone faces the same issue always.
Tata is much worse when it comes to quality control.
@@gautamjgsimple a chances of getting a lemon is high , that's the point
Well done shumi! You have excelled exceptionally, exhibiting extraordinary expertise while exquisitely executing any and all exciting x terms that i could think of!
Wow! Thank you @GarlicbreakmanOP. Shumi's exalted to hear this.
Waited for this from the ages
😅😅😅
Thanks for waiting!
In the era of people wanting more & more bite-sized content, surprisingly MotorInc's First are so entertaining. I am binge-watching Motorinc's Firsts
Hope you have fun PB!
Is it possible to install or add new features like Hill Hold and Hill Decent control under ESP later on ?, I mean to say, after taking delivery is it possible to add these features showroom fitted? as of now XUV 3XO does not have these features in any of the variants... ??
Damn, sounds like a good car. Too bad with the number of orders mahindra is getting for the 3XO, we might need to start counting the waiting period in X-years instead of X-months soon.
😆
In Jaipur done models are readily available
I was wating eagerly for xuv3x0 update from Motoinc❤
I drove the Diesel manual and felt jerk with 3rd gear at low speed may be at 25kmph, wasn't aware it was diesel until the sales guy told me. Super smooth engine and comfortable driving experience.
Exactly! It’s crazy how refined it is.
My first introduction to Kartik was through the TNT 300 review back in his autocar days 9-10 years back. Followed his reviews ever since. Keep up the great work guys.
Thanks SR! Appreciate it!
Sir, confused between kushaq 1lt TSI AT and 3xo AX5L. Any recommendations from your end. Major running will be in city. Also open to any other suggestions. Thanks!
You should definitely drive the Creta CVT. That would be our first pick. Do let us know if you have any queries.
If you try the 3XO - please try the base engine. We hope it will be easier to drive in the city than the 130PS engine.
Shumi’s wiper sound is a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😂
Agreed!
Amazing discussion as always. I'm always a 100% motorcycle loving guy but 1st time got excited becoz of this 3x0. I've seen the previous model and the acceleration is just crazy.
Recently some TH-cam channels have been reviewing the NX500, Vstrom 800DE, Transalp. Couldn't find anything interesting from those reviewers. Would love to hear Shumi and Kartikeya talk about these bikes. It would be amazing. And i think the first impression of Force gurkha 5 door is also pending. So much excited to hear about all these products from you guys.
Thank you Dr.RR!

Not really fully panoramic but larger than usual. Semi-panoramic maybe 😂
You are that type of guy who watches Republic News.
To me this facelifted car perfectly makes sense for people who are looking for a unique looking sub 4m SUV and doesn't want to be a drop of rain in the ocean of Sonets, Venues and the Nexons. Not gonna lie, this doesn't look as bad in person.

Which is more fuel efficient TGDI or the MPFI engine for 3XO. AX5 MT variant i have driven recently. Is it good as first car. I am confused which one to choose Baleno or 3XO as my first car?
Me fighting hard with Google & chatgpt to get a word starting with "X" to say that this video is hilarious & takes things to a different level. 😂😂😂
Kudos to Shumi's X-inclusion & great effort to not get confused with 3OO & 3XO in the middle of the whole one hour conversation. 😂
My week feels getting over soon 😁
Glad you enjoyed it
12:12 this is an issue that I still face with my XUV 700 which is a 2023 model. Car is excellent to drive but the screen is a hot mess sometimes. It won’t boot up which will result in MID Screen also crashing. I have to turn off my car , get out , lock it , wait for 5 minutes , unlock the car & then start it. This is not a frequent issue and does happen once every 20 odd days but yes it does need to be addressed.
As for the camera being laggy , xuv 700 had the same issue earlier but it has been smoothened out with latest updates.
Other than this XUV is a joy to drive.
Oh sorry to hear that @alokpandey4924. We didn't expect it to be so prevalent.
shumi could you tell me about your black rings and maybe where i could get them too?

Hey Alwin! Thanks so much. Do stay tuned.
I am looking to choose between MX3 Pro or Nexon pure s. Can you suggest me the best fit?
Safety and driving experience are the two big factors for me.
Great episode as always. It would be fun if you guys swapped roles ie, Shumi goes to review cars and Kartik goes to review bikes (I really like the comparo video on the NS, apache 200 and hornet 2.0 when he was with Zigwheels).
Cheers!
Noted @prashantsharma9779! Asking Kartikeya to ride bikes is easy but asking Shumi to drive cars!? We're not sure...😄
Between nexon and 3XO(petrol) which would be a better choice for city drive and casual highway rides?
Booked my AX5 PT MT. I struggled initially to like this car when seen in pictures but the minute I saw it in flesh, it looked really nice. Specially in red.
Gonna be my first car. Fingers crossed.
Congratulations! All the best. Keep us posted.
Glad to see you incorporated my comments about navigation in infotainment from previous video ❤

Excellent work Karthi & Shumi 👍
A small tip regarding AC you have mentioned.
The AC works in tandem with the exterior temperature shown in the cluster. If the cluster displays 22 degrees Celsius and you set the AC to 22 degrees, it will be hot inside. But if the exterior climate shown in the instrument cluster is 36 degrees Celsius, even if you set the car's AC to 26 degrees, it will feel very cool inside. So to maintain a comfortable temperature, try setting the AC temperature 3 to 5 degrees lower than the exterior temperature shown in the cluster.
"Strange enough" 😂, but as an XUV3OO user completing just one year, these self-identified tips may help new users."
We were in the middle of a heat wave! Would have loved it if it was 24 outside! Even 34!
You the best duo who criticizes all the new vehicles but you bring out the irony of all those and keep us aware of what's inn and what's not in the car/bike. Dont feel your conversation goes for sooo long.. ❤❤❤

Pratap bose and team just nailed it..I really liked this design..Xuv 300 was always an under appreciated car. With this update I hope it will sell more..Now I want to see an update in Marazzo..Thats another car from Mahindra that deserves better sales..
Marazzo definitely does.

Concept that two guys will talk about just one car, won't actually have the car around, would show it, wouldn't be driving it while talking about it, and this will be one hour episode, sounds soooooo boring. And you guys make it so enjoyable 😅😅😅 That's crazy. This is my second favourite automobile show.

Hi Kartikeya. Which is the VFM variant if once consider AT.. Also, if you are looking at compact SUV market, would you consider this as the first choice or you will prefer some other car like brezza, Nexon or Sonet ?
First choice for him is Sonet facelift. Please let us know if you have any more queries! And thanks for chatting!
Absolutely loved and enjoyed watching your videos ❤
Glad you enjoyed @drneelakantan!
I just love watching you two talk.

Just a quick 1 around the automatic gearbox. Which would you choose among the 2 - sonets dct or xuv 3xo tc for a good driving experience
It’s the combination of engine and gearbox - and we’d pick the Sonet. It’s a more flexible combination. And yes its dct is more enjoyable.
I booked 3xo Ax5 petrol manual its good or not
I was checking every day for your review and ultimately had to go ahead last week. I went with the MX3 for all the same reasons, it is a car, and its job is to drive and not bother us with electronics.
Excellent! Did you get a test drive? How was it in the city?
Hi guys, need some help. I am looking to buy Speed 400, had multiple visits to the showroom here in Bengaluru, the dealership has included RSA and Handling/Logistics charges in the quotation. As per my understanding these are not mandatory hence I'm looking to get these removed, but the dealership isn't ready to do that, what can I do next? Also, a video on this would be great as not many people would have realised how much extra they have ended up paying while buying a new vehicle.
Hi Motorinc, please include the variant details in upcoming videos.
The lower variants seem really good value considering the fact that the car is safe, fast, and spacious. Oh, and for the ones who would want to shove their kids up the sunroof, all variants but the base get it. However, the funny thing is, rear wipers still cost more than sunroofs in India! 😛
Also, understood from the video, that some variants have an option to set how an alert would sound? Seriously? In this segment? We need to forget that cars are not cellphones! Few years down the line, manufacturers might just allow users to set songs for these alerts. We’ve anyway had generous use of the Dhoom title track. This would just be an extension. Crazy times.
These guys make you fall in love with door pockets of the car :D
We need more love @namansharma3157!
Not for city driving. Then which one would you recommend for the city?
Great impressions as always. Have a query on the recommended fuel of RON 95. Since these are scarce, does the long distance travel needs to be planned as an Electric (Range anxiety)
Try to use HP Power95. Most fuel stations have it and the quality levels are fairly consistent
That will be a pain. Not ideal for sure.
Xcellent review. Got no money for a car yet but enjoyed the whole thing!
Thank you for joining us @dineshkrishnan4029. We're all about the conversation...
AX5L AT or AX7 AT?
Which one should you suggest for a first time buyer who lives in Hyderabad and bumper to bumper traffic is normal

I was waiting for this going to Borivali from Mulund long drive with good Podcast equal great journey.

whats the benchmark car for you in this segment when it comes to Interior , Design and Engine , Since you discussed a lot about design ?
Sonet. For consistency.
No other reviewers go into so much detail about the car so no point looking at other reviewers pointing out the AC issue. That is why you listen to this channel even after you have seen all the reviews on youtube.
🙏🏾 Thank you for the trust
You can work on a national holiday if it's deemed a necessity. If you ask your employees to come to work on a national holiday, you have to compensate them for that (overtime).
Xumi enjoyed taking those X-factor digs without missing a beat. Well Played!
😆
Initially hated the way this car looked when it was launched, but after a while I started liking it to the point now that it won't affect my buying dicision.
Though these annoying electronic bugs are a let down and should've been fixed and perfected since they've already existed in 7OO for some time now. Ventilated seat is a big miss especially in this blazing hot weather.
Overall its ineldeed a consideration among other options in this price range.
Amazingly done video... I can spend 'X' amount of time watching this over and over 🤧
X-cellent @TheTwinPost. We hope that these issues are limited to the pre-production models so we'll have to wait and see.
Shumi sir's wiper sound was a 4.5/5, as no language teacher gives high marks and I've suffered from that in my 10th boards just now. 🤣
Amazing video! I had many good laughs. From all the chimes and the BMW ESP system present in the Mahindra XUV 0, I feel like the AX5L should be the best buy in this range.
Also for those who don't understand the XUV 0, 3x0 (3 multiplied by 0) is 0.
-Best regards, Ajinkya
Thanks Ajinkya!
Great insight like usual. Felt the diesel engine had a much better aura. Looking to purchase this, Is this the best in the segment or any other I need to check out before the big decision ?
Should definitely drive the Sonet diesel before deciding. It has the better automatic too. Let us know!
We love the front design also...it will depend up on the individual
True! Good that it works for you!
Small feedback. Please try to include variant differentiation in your reviews. I know it's difficult because you guys get to the top almost all the time. But to coman buyers it's a big point. Not saying to include all but best in class if it has. Because as I have noticed Nexon has a really bad variant difference.
I just hope the base engine is good cause there is no going back now I have booked it, but saying for the back design brezza got the best look from back the minimal and smoked taillight, I just choosed the 3xo for its performance
All the best! Would love to hear about your experience.
Nice video!
How would you compare 3X0 with Venue N line and i20 N line in terms of drivability, suspension and rear comfort?
If you compare the turbo petrols - the Hyundais drivability will be. Better for everyday use. Backseat - more space for sure in 3XO.
After watching the video...My only concern is about driving in day to day city traffic...is it too jerky between the pedal press and turbo kick in point...will it affect my bumper to bumper drive by giving continuous head nods..and unnecessary fear of extra push even with mild throttle??
It’s not that bad, but it doesn’t quite let you relax. You will feel a slight jerkiness in traffic. For primarily city use - not the best pick.
Sir would you recommend AX5L AT or base variant of AT MX2PRO AT for a first time car buyer? I sometimes feel like Auto emergency braking ( AEB ) and adaptive cruise control are useful features and also increase the level of safety.
That’s your choice. Our advice is clear - do not rely on them just yet.
