Yeah, the kind of mild, calm voice he used contrasted with the sheer creepiness of the character is perfect.
Little did he know this was a smart home with a Stair Climber workout machine fixed into the staircase and freaked out having a hallucination out of fear.

Grey Michael sounds like the type of name that's supposed to be an anagram for something.
i took it as a nickname as he is a brother of the devil, but more good. he put evil back in its place, and the only way to do that is for him to be evil himself. hes good and evil. hes grey

I almost feel like that was almost intentional to see if people were paying attention... or possibly just a transposition typo. Only the author knows for sure.
My first house I brought was haunted, that wasn't the reason I sold the house, but it was haunted, by the spirit of the woman that died, and when they say you are in death as in life, I heard she was a kind woman in life, so was her spirit, I knew she was around when I smelled White Diamond perfume and when I went thru a bad time in my life, I smelled White Diamonds and someone held my hand as in comfort.

@@Ondroth she was such a blessing, this was back in 2008, the economy went bottom out, I was going thru a divorce, and my dog died, so it was kinda ruff, but back story on Ms Rose, which was her name, her Sister lived next door, and she told us ,if we ever smell White Diamond perfume it was her sister, she's just checking in on you ,and she was right, we were never scared, it was a calmness, and when I hit rock-bottom after Rusty ( my dog) died, I smelled perfume, and like someone was holding my hand, but, I often wonder about the house and is Ms. Rose still there.
Speaking as a realtor myself I just engulf the house in roaring flame. Before the roof even caves in I give them my realtors pledge that they have nothing to fear from ghosts. Even if the ghost is MC Escher. Super surreal story. One of your best. I’ve heard it before but it took a while for me to realize. The Grey Michel origin story.

It's funny how we listen to these horror stories, and think about how scary they are, but we never think, or at least, most of the time we never think, that somewhing like this will happen to us personally.

That was a GREAT story. Very original. What a detailed imagination the writer has. A person can most definitely find it very plausible. Of all the spooky tales I've read. Of all the storylines in shows on TV and movies I've watched, I don't even remember anything that tells about houses guaranteed not to be haunted. I've heard of places be guaranteed to be clean and clear after the fact. I'd love to hear more from this creative author. With your narration of course.

Although I’ve been listening to your videos for a long time, I am always surprised at the unique quality of the stories you share! And your narration always takes them to the next level. If I were the writer of horror tales, you would be my “go to” reader, because you always add a thick layer of icing to a delicious cake! For me, Mr Creepy Pasta is the only other narrator who breathes such life into a story the way you do, and no one else even comes close! Thank you for giving me that slight sense of dread, that pit in my stomach, and that chill that runs down my back that make me feel so alive!

At first this story reminded me a lot of "and he built a crooked house" by Robert Heinlein. It has some parallel ideas. An architect builds a house in the form of a tesseract. He then takes the buyers into the house for a tour and chaos ensues. Give it a read if you enjoyed this!

Such an amazing narration, a perfect story. Just enough information to make you want to flip through the next 10 books. The fact that you narrate with such presentation that you leave the listener visually enchanted, it heightens any sort of original positive opinions of the story itself, what a great thing in the middle of a shitty day. I just discovered all of these ghost story channels a couple of months ago. I enjoy TH-cam much more now. I am a huge old time radio fan and these stories remind me of a radio show from 1930s or 40s. I am curious how long it takes to produce an episode like this one? I mean from the time the narrator initially reads the story until the file is ready for upload.
A few hours. But I've gotten like 10x faster from doing these everday

First minute into story and had a super happy moment thanks for the video, music, great story picking and narrative I haven't even finished it yet but I've come to expect nothing but the best from the cold soft glow of the Lighthouse Horror.

I'm a little duh about playing a story on tv and then being able to find the story. So I want to comment and apologize for sticking things in a weird place. I listened to I'm the I'm the last lighthouse keeper all the way through it for about the 3rd time. It's a really wonderful story and I am consistently amazed that you are so talented and diverse and entertaining and calming with your voice. But sometimes I just laugh my ass off cause I don't know how you get through it without laughing your ass off. And the joke you go out on is classic. So funny 🤣. And I love paranormal kid in my class. Oh it slays me. 😅. Thanks to you and the author. I needed a laugh.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Loved it as usual :) I'm gonna listen to that one I found yesterday with Light and Mr Creeps that I found out lighthouse wrote that's the only reason I'm gonna check it out Me Creeps voice is so annoying to me He ends like every word or two with an Ah sound, Example, I saw Herah she was running from a Monsterah, lol drives me nuts cause he stories seem cool and the few I managed to sit through were really good and he has a lost of content I don't see on any other narrators pages but still that voiceah.....
