Your voice acting is great, and the tone you use for main characters makes them feel real and human, while also giving an uneasy vibe! Plot twist: Hotel business was going poorly, so they started kidnapping ghosts so that they'd get publicity as a haunted house! The ghosts just want to leave, man!

There is more than meets the eye with this story. He was on the 4th floor at room 412 when he fell between the vending machines. The letter from the manager said that his voice recorder was found on the 8th floor. You could say that the ghost brought it up there, but they found it under a vending machine. It seems that he was tricked into going to the 8th floor and only thought he was on the 4th floor. Also, the manager doesn't seem surprised or angry that they were apparently on a floor of the building that they shouldn't have been on. If you owned a hotel and found out that a guest was sneaking around in a closed-off section, wouldn't you be a little upset?!
There are layers to this story and I want more stories about this hotel! Starting with the person who supposedly left in the middle of the night and left all their belongings. That person is not alive anymore! And I want to know what happened!

Great story. I can't tell you how much the little things about his this story was written me it better. For example, when he heard the word, thump, i was already hearing it saying it filled me with dread. When it was written that he was filled with edgy feeling, it made me appreciate it that much more. I always say lighthouse is detail oriented, it's fitting the writer appears to be as well. I also want to highlight how well this was written. The detail this author uses fits this channels M.O. to a T. Really refreshing how nice this was done all around writing to reading

I really can't say I expected to hear the line, 'a thunderous BANG then came from my backside' in a story like this... (24:40) 🤣🤣🤣 But seriously, LH is without doubt the best creepypasta raconteur on YT. Excellent voice actor, and most engaging out of all I've listened to.

I have 2 other active creepypasta narrators from England and Europe that I regularly listen to as well (funnily enough, all three of them are also on spotify).
I listen to a couple others now and then as well, but the American accent is very harsh and itches my brain with a cheese grater. I don't get the same sensation from LHH though.
@@bellarose-au I wonder how many actually use autonarration rather than their actual voice. Certain mispronunciation cues, and other factors suggest it's not their real voice. No doubt when it comes to Stephen though. Wonderful personality in his characters 😁👍

i watched a similar theme before. a journalist who doesnt really believe in supernatural went to a hotel to document a haunted room, eventually renting and becoming one of its victims.

That’s so frustrating! When I fall asleep for a short time then I’m wide awake. It’s the worst when I fall asleep 11pm/12am (normal) then wake 20-30mns later and I’m fully awake til abt 5:30/6, when I shld be waking.
When I wake after 4 or 5hrs, I’m annoyed but at least when I get the few hours i can function all through the day
