Fun Fact: Silly Puddy was originally intended for removing the coal ash from the walls in. homes. It only became a child toy when homes stopped using coal for heating switched to natural gas. The puddy was used on walls to remove the accumulated soot from burning coal from the walls. Once it seemed like an artifact until someone saw their kid playing around with it and a newspaper and here we are!
Maybe he should carry some on himself with the other cleaning materials, just in case...

This is like a recurring dream I used to have. (Except for everybody getting eaten.) Just kept finding more stairs, hallways and rooms. But I was in a church basement. Then there was this really big room that faded into the distance. It was pretty chilly. Everything echoed. I don't know what happened next because I always woke up. This story gave me serious chills and flashbacks.

I first listened to this story six years ago when KingSpook read it, listening to you read it now brings me back to when I first got into creepy pastas, the slight chill, but also big enjoyment I felt six years back.

my first foray into the horror genre was reading James Herbert and over these many years ive read, listened, watched and played a huge amount of horror themed publications and feel that I've become desensitised but for some unknown reason this story really got to me. Its no more scary than a James Herbert novel but this story really gave me the chills.
Btw the Artwork is amazing as always !

"The side tunnel" is the stand-alone sequel. It's really good too... However something visceral, in a classic sort of way makes me very fond of this particular story.

Interesting that the security head didn’t have the University search for him and police have his name on a list to question once he showed up. Came here after listening to LH’s Part 2 narration.
