That’s what the old folks used to do around here, not for insurance reasons or ghost reasons but because barns have a lifespan and when they get too run down the person who owns it would call family and have all the stuff moved out of the barn a safe distance before torching it and building another

Yeah... As soon as I heard it I was gone click 📴 and start a different story but I didn't. I have CAPS Disorder (Central Auditory Processing Disorder) so I struggled to understand through the whole story, but I'm glad I stayed. Story was good, as always 👍🏽

@@LighthouseHorror Far too few creepy pasta authors use voices, so it's sometimes hard to keep track of who's talking.
A lot of creepy pasta narrators are men, and far too many times, there are stories where the protagonist's gender is stated in some manner, and it turns out that they're a woman.
Similarly with characters that the protagonist is talking to.
Doesn't help that few act much, so we can't really feel what the character is feeling.

The way Nolan talked made me think that he might be on the spectrum, and he still might be, but his cadence was so different than many of your other amazing characters. Okay, so that was the best story and narration! The story was great! I mean it was awesome, but the narration was the absolute best!! I loved how Nolan sounded just like the waterboy. Edit: just finished the story. This absolutely needs to be a series! Almost like Goosebumps. Nolan and Joe are hysterical and had me laughing the entire story. Beautifully written and expertly narrated.
