  • The Tampa Bay Lightning shocked us all as they made a flurry of trades of the weekend. The Bolts started things off as they traded away Mikhail Sergachev to the Utah Hockey Club. They Lightning would receive J.J. Moser, Conor Geekie, and a couple of draft picks. They were not done as they eventually traded away Tanner Jeannot by striking a deal with the Kings. The Lightning would cap off the weekend by sending a 2025 2nd round pick to the Hurricanes in exchange for the rights to Jake Guentzel. We recap all the moves, as well is how the Lightning will be able to juggle all the newfound cap space.

Agree with you a 💯%. Just signed Jake for around 9. Have to see who the get rid of today to get more cap to sign others and if they can sign Stammer. I wouldn’t let him go.

Well, it improved with the Atkinson acquisition.
      Kuch - Point - Guentzel
      Hagel - Cirelli - Atkinson
      Eyssimont- Paul - Chaffee
Girgensons - Glendening - Sheary or any deserving player from Syracuse
Guentzel and Sheary played together before and it went well. To make Sheary productive once again you can try to shake lines up.

with Lilleberg and Crozier as backups. We're no longer cup contenders clearly, but this lineup can still be a playoff team

@@jimybourassa4369 they spurred that late season run which was great after all the lack luster games we had to endure. But I’m glad we didn’t hold on to them.
