Vasy actually looked decent in this postseason, just unfortunate we drew the best team in the playoffs. I think Mcdonagh will really shore us up and prevent a lot of the weak chances we gave up this year.

Vasy will be fine imo, going out in the first round this year is gonna help him in the long run he'll have a full summer to recover, he's still a elite goalie and you also have to look the last couple years the defense has gotten worse in front of him bringing Mcdonaugh back will certainly help that. As a Bruins fan I always say Tim Thomas in 2011 had the best individual season I've ever seen a goalie have from start to finish but Vasy had the best 3 year run (2020-2022) I've ever seen a goalie have and that includes Marty Broduer and Patrick Roy

Agree with a lot of you said. I think because the team was abysmal early on Vasi rushed back and because we were out of the playoffs they tried to ride him to much. For someone who missed training camp and 2 months. I think in the beginning he need to not be played almost every game for a month. I think he needed to find his game again after surgery and most 6 months off. Plus our defense was terrible. Hopefully JBB picks up A good younger big defenseman to add. That’s why I always mention to trade Cernak , Sherry, Perbix, and even Jeannot to free up a lot of cap space. I think that an an emphasis on the team playing 60 mins with intensity we will be good. Your opinion.

I think Vasy was not confident with line in front of him since Mac left. Then with his injuries he lost confidence in himself. Elite players have very fragile egos. He should be close to his old self now that Mac back, hopefully!!
