I’m having a thing right now with store bought pizza dough, plain and whole wheat/spelt pizza doughs. I’m making small pies, pasties, calzone’s - whatever you can call baked thingies with a filling. I’m trying all sorts of fillings like spinach, lots of black pepper and home made «fetaish cheese sauce» (YUM!), green beans with lots of wild garlic (can’t remember what it’s called in English, «ramsløk» in Norwegian), smushed Ikea «meatballs» with vegan cheese, lots of black pepper and homemade BBQ sauce etc etc. I make my quick alternative to feta to combine with spinach by making a normal thickness bechamel with coconut milk, adding some apple cider vinegar and finally thickening it lots with corn starch dissolved in a little water. I also salt it quite a lot, after all, it’s supposed to give a fetaish flavor. It’s delicious, but doesn’t have the texture of feta. 😊💚🌱🍀✅😊
I pre cook my vegetables in a non stick pan first like onions, garlic, peppers, mushrooms, spices, then put in on my pizza that has the sauce already on it. This makes for a yummy increased flavour.
I don't know what excites me more, Dillon's chopping or the close frame of Reeb's face :-) Love the lavash and similar one available at WF which is usually rather inexpensive. And love the edits (whomever is taken credit for that creativity.)

Been using Trader Joe's whole wheat pitas, usually the large ones, as my "pizza crust" for years. Delicious and forms a wonderfully crispy crust! I love to pile on with lots of veggies, too!
I'm going right over to Trader Joe's to get me one of those Lavash bread thingys. And the frozen artichoke hearts - they're less wet than the no-salt jarred version. Definitely going there today!
Aldi is owned by the brother of the owner of TJs. It’s not as good as TJs but it is pretty darn good. Do you have one near you? If so, it may be worth it to check it out 😋
I've done this before, love TJ's whole wheat lavash. They have not carried it in my area in a couple years. So I'll check again and hope they got back on the WW game. I also sometimes drizzle on your cheese sauce, that's great too. Thanks!

I've done pita pizzas before! When sliced in half, the thicker side def 'zas better - that thin size can't handle all the topping. We made it without trying to slice it too, but I have a feeling Lavash is the move :)
We did about 12-14 minutes depending on how stacked you make it. Get the sauce all the way to the edges of the lavash to keep it from browning too much.

I have made pizzas on pita bread before they work out great! There is also something called Balady bread which looks like a giant pita at my Superstore. Those work great as they are about 12 inches across. The smaller pitas work great for individual though. Capers are awesome on pizza. Are you pro or against pineapple on pizza? We like it but it's hard to use up a whole can of pineapple just making pizza!

You need to read the right books. Your doctor is lying to you about the cause of T2D. Read Mastering Diabetes book by Robbie and Cyrus. Read Reversing Diabetes from Dr Neal Barnard. These are the experts in this particular topic.

I had to look up "lavash" as a bread type and it appears to be from the Levant. So I suspect if I head to a Turkish shop I should find some. (BTW here in Germany we have a LOT of Turkish and now Syrian shops so we should be good)

Hey Reebs! I love tempeh! I steam mine first then cut it into chunks. Marinate in liquid aminos and balsamic. Air fry at 400 for 10 minutes.

Tomato paste is the secret ingredient to pizza sauce that doesn't get the crust soggy. And those Trader Joe's pitas work great.
