Yea, i had the hots 🥵 for Helen Hunt. She was the biggest babe back in the 1990’s movies 🎥 That movie was up there with Tremors, almost. It was like a Tremors 2.0 , when all other movies lost that sense of nostalgia...Indiana Jones has it, Back to the Future, Star Wars of course...& Terminator, Rocky, Rambo. After Twister around 1999-2000, i cant think of another Nostalgia legend classic movie...its like the directors of these movies just stopped making them. Oh “Independence Day” with Will Smith was definitely a newer one that is legendary that never gets talked about.

I have never understood the hate for early 3rd gens. I think they look 10x better then the "facelift" they got. Also 2nd gens are awesome and sid the sloth is the best ice age character.
the “facelift” looks awful. the headlights remind me of someone holding their eyes open as wide as they can. everything else they updated was fine, but changing the headlights was stupid
Late reply but if you get a commonrail 5.9 paired with a nv5600, it will literally run forever (or until it rusts away)
I grew up in a second gen. Which my dad STILL daily drives which is why they will always be my favorite even though I own a 3rd gen. BTW Twister is a great movie.
Second gen is the best because there great towing rigs show builds don’t like too old like a ford at that time or a Chevy at that time and sound so good!

3rd gen is way better than 4th. The 5.9 is better, can handle more upgrades, and doesnt have diesel killing emissions
@@200130769 once you remove the emissions the emissions the 6.7 is solid. Also daily driving a 4 speed is ass. And the nv5600 is a slow shifting transmission. You aren't racing with it. The G56 is a little better but a built 68 is the best all round transmission. You aren't making 1000 whp daily driving the truck.
To me the. 4th gen has just aged well. Especially the 13-18’s with the interior refresh. I really like the 5th gens, I want to trade my 17 1500 on 20 or newer 2500 Cummins.
I feel like now that the 5th gen has been out for a few years, the 4th gen has started to look better and better. That truck looked tough, the lines of the side profile on the crew cab is just very rugged looking.

I love my 2012 4th gen! It’s still got DODGE branding, limited Laramie longhorn. Interior is so clean/modern that it’s def on par with newer 4th/5th gens

I'm a huge Ford guy but I'll like some things on other brands. I've always had a soft spot for that big red truck from Twister since I was young. I've really had a love for red trucks. I like the 2nd gen for that reason, but the 4th gens look good as well

Headlights and interior were some of the first things I fixed on my 3rd gen. Not a fan of those stock headlights.😐 But other than that I love my 3rd gene Dodge.

Wasn't a Dodge guy till I bought one. '01 Laramie 1500 5.9L and has less 170,000 miles on it. Love my Twister truck.

First off, Twister is a classic !!! I like the later fourth gen the best, Like the Rebel or Warlock with leather and all available options, they cant be had with the 12" screen but they still have decent touch screen head units. Also keep in mind the 09-18 style is still being made brand new in 2021, so enough people must still want them or Ram would not waste time and money building them. 5th gens are killer and have nicer interiors but like all other trucks today are crazy highly priced.

They've done some mid-gen refreshes on the 4th gen that are pretty tasteful. Not a huge fan of the design of the headlights for 5th gen but still decent especially considering they are LEDs rather than the crappy dim halogen ones. All of the rams 4th gen and up are sexy looking trucks imo.
I personally love the second unit that was my dad‘s first truck and it’s gonna be my first truck

Honestly all generations of the dodge ram were dope especially with the Cummins diesel engine. Except the second gen, I have to agree with Junior here. The lights look weird, it's as if they forgot to put the lights and decided to put it there just because it needs lights...
There are a lot of clean second gens with a 12 valve and they're super dope.
The third gens were dope, I checked just diesels 3rd gen with a facelift. Super clean solid front axle. Good truck.
classic 70s-80s trucks will always be my favorite aesthetically, mostly unmodded as well, but theres nothing more badass then a cleanly modded 4th gen

I custom ordered my 2019 Ram 3500 Laramie Cummins, through the dealership straight from the factory in Feb 2019. That 1000FT/LB torque is just amazing.
Fun fact i seen somewhere when twister came out that’s when Dodge came out an was experimenting with the v10 an they wanted them to abuse them to test them and some of the trucks were 1500’s an the 2500’s had dubbed in v8 sounds

Well considering Ford had an entire gen of garbage I'd say it's not worth it. Both tritons were junk, the 6.0 was junk, the 6.4 was junk, the 6.7 sends metal shavings through your motor. The frames were weak since the 70s. If you drive over a stump your frame can twist to the point that it pops a dent in your tailgate and then you wont be able to open it. ecoboosts are horrible because of the GDI. The only good motors are the 300, 5.0, and the 6.2 is pretty decent. 3 good motors in decades

Ive got a '72 d100 stepside, '93 w250 (best of all), and a 2021 3500 dually that i picked up last week for a daily. When i was test driving for a daily chevy, GM or ford didnt come close to dodge for the interior.
My dad has a 03 dodge 3500 (not dually) and has never had a single problem beside the ac and it has 169,000 miles on it and still going so if I had to decide it would prop be a A for me
Love me a nice clean second gen but I think the best overall truck is the 4th gen Cummins deleted with the G56. Best blend of modern tech with old school reliability. I may be slightly biased since I own one 😅

I have a 18 Delmonico red 4th gen and I agree with the 5th gen lights on a 4th gen I think they make the truck look a lot better since mine falls in the end of the 4th gen range it looks new with led lights and a nice set of wheels plus with the red on that truck you can’t go wrong I’m glad I got it over a plain black or white or even the grey it stands out and shines like crazy in sunlight I would like to get a 5th gen light setup on my truck and maybe some black wheels or go wide and do polished but I’m not sure

Presmog 3rd gen 2005 best classic truck for the win. I have a rust free laramie sport with factory sunroof, no cracks in dash, factory heavy duty leather seats with suede inserts and color matched exterior trim and chrome bed rails. Thing is spotless.
